“But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.” (Mark 16: 7) That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today. It is remarkably noteworthy that Jesus’ resurrection was a promise He already made to His disciples. He already told them that after His death, He would rise on the third day. He already spoke a word concerning what would happen on the third day after His crucifixion. When the three women came to Jesus’ tomb, they witnessed a fulfillment of the word He spoke to them. They came to the tomb and they saw that His word had come to pass. What God told them in the past was fulfilled; God’s promise that came to them in the past was fulfilled in full. Friend, every word God has spoken to you concerning your destiny will come to pass. Every promise of God on your life will come to pass; every word that God has spoken concerning you in scriptures will come to pass; every word of prophecy that came from God concerning you will come to pass. If God said it, be sure that He will do it. Those women did not need to wake Jesus up from the grave; they just got there and saw that He was already risen; they got there and saw that there was already a fulfillment of what He promised them. God says, you will watch His word come to pass in your life. You will not need to make it happen; God will make it happen and you will see it with your own eyes. Is there a word that God has spoken concerning you that is pending? God says, hold on and believe; it shall come to pass. God’s word concerning your progress, victories and breakthroughs will come to pass. God’s word concerning your Continuous Congratulations will come to pass. Prayer: Lord, every word You have spoken concerning me will come to pass, in Jesus’ name!Amen Have A Blessed Tuesday. |

“But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.” (Mark 16: 7) That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today. In our Focal Scripture, the Angel sent the women to deliver a message to the disciples and Peter. Peter was singled out for special mention by the Angel. Peter was the same man who betrayed Jesus prior to His crucifixion. Peter disappointed Jesus; he failed his Master; he did what he shouldn’t do. Despite Peter’s gaffe, he got a special mention by the Angel. He disappointed his Master, but his Master didn't forget him. His error did not throw him out of the Master’s will; he got another chance after his error; Jesus may not have liked Peter's betrayal, but He was still interested in Peter. Friend, whatever you have done, the Master is still interested in you. You may have failed God, but He is still calling your name; you may have sinned and come short of God’s glory, you may have walked away from Jesus, you may have done what you shouldn’t do, you may have made mistakes, but the Lord is still interested in your life and future. God is not willing to let you go down because of what you didn’t do right. Peter rose from the ashes of his error, and eventually became the chief of the apostles. Beyond your errors, there is so much you can still become. You can rise from shame and step into fame; you can rise from failure and become a huge success; you can rise from what you did wrong and start doing things right; negative chapters of your life can be eclipsed by positive chapters that God will write for you. If your error is not yet fatal, then it is not final. Rise from your mistakes, get back to Jesus, you are not forgotten, and you will not be forsaken. Prayer : Lord, give me grace to rise from my errors, in Jesus’ name!amen Have A Blessed Monday And A Fruitful Week Ahead. |

“But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.” (Mark 16: 7) That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today. In our Focal Scripture, the Angel told the women that came for Jesus’ body that He had gone ahead of them into Galilee. These women were yet to go to Galilee; Galilee was their future destination; so the Angel declared that Jesus had gone ahead of them into their future destination; Jesus was already in their future. Friend, God will go ahead of you into your future. Before you get to your next level, God will be there waiting for you; before new opportunities come, God will be there waiting for you; before you walk into difficulty, God will be there waiting to bring you out; before future challenges arise, God will be waiting to bring solutions; before the next day arises, God will be waiting for you. God will go ahead of you to make the crooked places straight; God will go ahead of you to deal with the opposition against your progress; God will go ahead of you to work for you in places you are yet to enter; God will go ahead of you to open doors for you and turn the heart of kings in your favour; God will go ahead of your rivals to make space for you in high places; God will create stuff for you in your future before you get there. Don’t worry about what the future will be like; don’t worry about what will become of your nation in days and years to come. Don’t fret about what tomorrow will bring for you; don’t lose sleep on account of challenges that have not even arisen. If God goes ahead of you, everything will work in your favour, and everything will end in praise and in congratulations. If God goes ahead of you, the difficulties against you won't matter. Ask God to go ahead of you into your future. Prayer : Lord, go ahead of me into my future, in Jesus’ name!Amen Have A Splendid Sunday. |
“And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.” (Mark 16: 6) That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today. When the women in our Scripture Reading came to Jesus’ sepulcher, He was no longer there. His time in the sepulcher was not forever; it expired in a short while. The last time they heard of Him, His body was in the sepulcher; but when they came back, He was no longer there. Where they saw Him the last time was not where they met Him. Friend, hear God’s prophetic word: your status is changing; you are on your way to better days. Things will not continue as they have been. Things will get bigger and better; you will rise to new levels and attain new positions; you are about to shock those who know your history. People will look for you where you used to be, and they won't find you there. People will look for you in your ‘sepulcher’, and they won’t find you; they will look for you where you used to suffer, and they won’t find you. Where you are now is not where you will be. Soon, everything will turn around for your good. Soon, tears of pain and shame will give way to tears of joy. Soon, the negative stories that are told about you will no longer be valid. Soon, those who pitied you will come to congratulate you. Soon, those who thought you were in trouble will see that God has turned things around for your good. Just be patient; you won’t remain on this level forever; you won't be mocked forever; you won't be shamed forever; you won't be disadvantaged forever. Your time in the ‘sepulcher’ is not forever. One day, you will step out in style; one day, the negativity in your life will be a thing of the past. One day, your story will change for the better. One day, God will remember you for good. Prayer : Lord, move me to the next level, in Jesus’ name!Amen Have A Restful Saturday. |

“And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.” (Mark 16: 6) That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today. When the Angel in our Focal Scripture announced to the women that Jesus is risen, he showed them where He was laid. He didn’t just tell them a story; he showed them where Jesus’ body used to be; he showed them evidence that Jesus was no longer in the grave. Beyond the words that those women heard, they got raw evidence. Friend, hear God’s prophetic words: your life shall be filled with divinely orchestrated evidence. Your walk with God will not be all about talk; it shall be filled with evidence. You shall have multiple evidence; God will cause you to have something to show for all your efforts; your career shall be filled with evidence; your business will be filled with evidence; your ministry will be filled with evidence; you shall be a person of huge evidence. Henceforth, you won't struggle to prove to men that God is on your side; they will see it with their eyes and congratulate you. You won't need to prove to anyone that you are beloved of God; they will see the evidence by themselves. God will give you divine evidence that terminates every argument; God will give you evidence that will shut up your haters and mockers; God will give you mouth-watering evidence. The days of talking without evidence, are over. Henceforth, what God is doing in your life shall be manifestly evident for all to see. Welcome to your season of divine evidence. Remember, Jesus' resurrection was already stated in God's word, and an accompanying evidence became inevitable. Hold on to God's word; your evidence is coming soon. Prayer : Lord, give me evidence that will terminate every argument, in Jesus’ name!Amen Have A Fabulous Friday g8t conquerors |
“And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here...” (Mark 16: 6) That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today. When the Angel in Jesus’ tomb met the women who came to anoint Jesus’ body, he told them that they came to seek Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus had already risen and stepped into glory; He was no more the Jesus of Nazareth they used to know; their knowledge of Him didn't reflect His current status. The women were seeking Jesus based on old information; their past knowledge of Him conditioned their search for Him; they viewed the future through the binoculars of the past; they allowed the past to interfere with the present and the future; they were fixated on past knowledge, and forgot that something new had happened. Friend, God says, don’t allow the past to becloud your vision of the present and future. Don’t allow what happened in the past to affect your perception of what is happening now; don’t allow past disappointments to shape your attitude to new opportunities; don’t allow past failures and misfortunes to affect your drive for fresh successes and achievements. Don’t approach new assignments with old, outdated knowledge. God says, update your knowledge. Discard any knowledge that is outdated; update your skills and abilities; find out what is happening in places where you may not have been; don’t allow what you knew about people in the past affect how you treat them now; don’t allow the past to blind your senses and perception. Your last attempt at success may have ended in embarrassment, but God says, things have changed. They may have said ‘NO’ in the past, but God says, they will say YES when you try again. Let go of the past and move on; gain new knowledge. Prayer : Lord, the past will not becloud my present and future; give me grace to gain new knowledge, in Jesus’ name!Amen Have A Blissful Thursday. |

“5. And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment... 7. But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him...” (Mark 16: 5, 7) That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today. When the women in our Focal Scripture came to Jesus’ tomb, they didn’t find Jesus’ body. Jesus was already risen, but the women were unaware of His whereabouts. Their mission was to see Jesus’ body which they didn't see, and they needed help in order to find Jesus’ location. The women later met the Angel in Jesus’ tomb, and he told them that Jesus was in Galilee. He gave them information on Jesus’ location. He gave them the direction that would lead them to their target; those women lacked direction, and they eventually got the right direction from the Angel. Friend, hear God’s prophetic word: God will grant you Divine Direction that will lead you to your destination. God will grant you insight that will help you achieve what you want to achieve; God will open your eyes to see the way that will lead you to success and relevance; God will grant you revelation that will usher you into your next level with ease; God will grant you directions that will help you locate your heart’s desires with ease. Any man who lacks direction may end up beating about the bush instead of hitting the target; any man who lacks direction may end up wasting so much time to achieve something that could have been achieved with ease. If God does not direct you, you may miss your way in destiny. Ask God to grant you divine direction; ask God to show you the way to go; ask God to show you the way that will help you hit your target and achieve what you want to achieve. Prayer : Lord, grant me Divine Direction, in Jesus’ name!Amen Have A Blissful Tuesday. |

“And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.” (Mark 16: 4) That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today. When the women in our Focal Scripture came to Jesus’ tomb, the stone was already rolled away. The last time they checked, there was a stone that would stop them from entering the sepulcher. The last time they checked, there was a stumbling block opposing their movement into the sepulcher. Instead of meeting a closed sepulcher, those women met an open sepulcher. They went to the same sepulcher where they would have needed help to step into, but they didn’t need help to step in. They came to the same place where a door was shut against them, but the door had been opened. Friend, hear God’s prophetic word: the door has been opened. The opposition to your advancement has been removed. The stone covering the sepulcher has been rolled off the way. The issues that have stopped your progress in the past have been divinely taken care of. The things that stopped you in the past have been taken off the way. Go back to the same places you could not enter in the past: the doors will be open. Go back to where they said no: they will say yes. Go back to places where you met opposition: you shall enjoy a free passage. Go back to places where things were difficult in the past; things will be easy now. Things have changed for the better; doors have been opened unto you. Don’t shy away from going back to the ‘sepulcher’ because you saw a ‘stone’ the last time you checked. You shall have a different result if you try again. Prayer : Lord, grant me open doors in places where doors were shut against me, in Jesus’ name!Amen Have A Blessed Monday And A Superb Week Ahead. |
“And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.” (Mark 16: 4) That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today. When Jesus was crucified, He was buried in a tomb. In Matthew 27 vs. 62-66, the chief priests and Pharisees decided to halt Jesus’ resurrection. They fortified the tomb with a greater stone, and even kept soldiers to watch over the tomb. Their plan was to stop the fulfillment of God's word concerning the resurrection. That stone that covered Jesus’ tomb was eventually rolled away. They kept the stone to stop Jesus’ resurrection, but the stone didn't stop Him. They kept that stone to stop Him from moving out of the tomb, but their stone couldn't stop Him. The soldiers they sent couldn't stop Jesus. Despite the stone and soldiers, Jesus’ resurrection was unstoppable. Friend, hear God’s prophetic word: the enemy cannot stop you; the conspiracies of enemies cannot stop God’s plan for your life; the wickedness of men against you will not stop the manifestation of God’s will upon your life; the ‘stones’ in front of you will not stop your advancement; the arrangements that men have made to stop you will not stop you. God didn’t stop the chief priests and Pharisees from covering Jesus’ tomb with a big stone; He didn’t stop them from sending soldiers to guard the grave; but He stopped their arrangements from scuttling His Divine arrangement. God may allow the enemy’s arrangements, but He will stop the arrangements from stopping you; the arrangements may still be there, but you will move on. Stop worrying about those who have gathered against you; their plans won’t stop you; their gossip won’t scuttle your progress; whatever the enemies do to stop you will fail; you are unstoppable. Prayer : Lord, the plans and arrangements of the enemy will not stop me; I am unstoppable, in Jesus’ name!Amen Have A Super Sunday. |

“And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.” (Mark 16: 4) That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today. The stone that was used to cover Jesus' tomb was described as great; the stone was a hard nut to crack; it was not an easy challenge. The stone was too much for those women who went to anoint Jesus' body; the stone was an opposition and a stumbling block to their movement. Despite the fact that the stone was great, and despite the fact that it was too big for those women to handle, it was eventually rolled away; despite the greatness of the challenge, the challenge was eventually taken off the way; the challenge was not an easy one to handle, but God took care of it. Friend, God says, no matter how great your challenge is, He will take care of it; no matter how great the opposition against your progress is, God will take care of it; no matter how complicated your health challenge is, God will heal you; no matter how unsolvable the puzzles of life appear to be, God will solve your own puzzles; no matter how great a stumbling block is, God will roll it off the way for you to move on. The greatness of a challenge does not negate the fact that it will eventually be rolled away, sooner or later. The fact that you can’t handle it does not mean that God will not handle it on your behalf; that a problem has become complicated does not make it unsolvable. If Jehovah is involved, even the greatest problem shall be beaten down to nothing. Take every great challenge in your life to God in prayers. If Jehovah is involved, every great or small challenge shall receive divine solutions; if Jehovah is involved, that great challenge shall be a platform for Continuous Congratulations. Prayer : Lord, every challenge before me shall be a platform for Continuous Congratulations, in Jesus name! Amen Have A Restful Saturday. |
I am so happy u did ,may the good lord give u a testimony that will change ur story 4 ever |
“3. ...Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre? 4. And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away...” (Mark 16: 3-4) That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today. When the women in our Focal Scripture came to Jesus’ tomb, they saw that the stone had been rolled away. They wanted to anoint Jesus’ body, and that stone was their major challenge; but when they got there, the stone was already off the way. They got the first level of their miracle. The stone wasn't rolled away just because of the women; it was rolled away because Jesus had risen. It was rolled away because the Lion of the tribe of Judah had prevailed, and had risen in glory; the stone was rolled away in fulfillment of God’s plan for man’s salvation; the stone was rolled away because of a bigger picture. Friend, whatever God does is for the bigger picture. Whatever miracle He brings is for reasons that are bigger than your satisfaction. Everything God does is for the expression of His glory first, and not primarily for your satisfaction. If God heals you, or gives you wealth and fame, or opens doors for you, it is for a purpose that transcends your own satisfaction; He is simply seeking a new manifestation of His glory through what He has done. Don't enjoy a miracle and forget to put God’s reason for the miracle into perspective. Don’t celebrate your breakthroughs, open doors, etc and forget that God had a reason bigger than you for making it happen. As you celebrate that a stone has been rolled away, don't forget that God's glory was the main reason. Discover and appreciate God’s purpose for everything He brings your way; discover why He gave you that job, healing, testimony, divine provision, opportunity, etc. Look beyond your satisfaction; focus on the bigger picture. Prayer : Lord, help me to discover the purpose for everything You do for me and around me, in Jesus’ name!Amen Have A Fabulous Friday. |
“And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?” (Mark 16: 3) That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today. When the women in our Focal Scripture embarked on a journey to Jesus’ tomb, they already knew that a great stone covered the tomb. They already knew that a challenge was waiting for them. They knew the difficulty in their mission. They knew that their goal wasn't easy to achieve. Despite the fact that there was a stone to roll away, they continued their journey. Despite the challenge on their way, they pressed on; despite the difficulty in their mission, they didn’t abandon the mission; the difficulty on their path didn’t stop them from moving; what they couldn’t handle didn’t stop them from their mission. Friend, glean some wisdom: no matter the difficulty on your way, don’t stop; no matter the challenges you encounter that you can’t handle, don’t stop; don’t allow the things you can’t handle to stop you; don’t allow the challenges you are anticipating to stop you; don’t allow the news of another man’s misfortune to stop you; don’t allow the mountain standing before you to stop you from moving. Those women eventually got to the tomb, and discovered that the stone had been rolled away. They got there and discovered that their challenge had been taken care of. Some of the challenges you are anticipating have already been taken care of by God. Some of the stones that are stopping you have already been rolled away. Arise, make that move, start that business, write that proposal, write your application, do what you have to do, and forget about the challenge you are expecting. If Jehovah is involved, then be sure of one thing: He will take care of the challenges. Prayer : Lord, my challenges will not stop me, in Jesus’ name!Amen Have A Splendid Thursday. |

“...Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.” (Mark 16: 1) That is the Focal Scripture Of Streams Of Joy Devotional today. The women in our Focal Scripture were on their way to anoint Jesus’ body. They went to help the situation; the situation was already bad in their eyes, Jesus was already crucified, and they came to help with their spices. Their spices were not intended to resurrect Jesus, but they were meant to make Him smell good. Before the women could anoint Jesus with their spices, the power of God already raised Jesus from the grave. Before they offered human help, divine help was released. Before they did what mortals could do to help, God already did what only God can do. Divine help came before human help; divine help made human help unnecessary. Friend, hear God’s prophetic word: before human help comes your way, Divine Help will show up. Before those you are depending on will show up at their own time to help you, God will send you divine help that will make human help unnecessary. Before human intervention happens, divine intervention will come your way; divine provision will locate you before human provision comes; before a mere mortal opens doors for you, God Himself will open new doors for you. Those women came to help Jesus with preservation, but God came ahead of them with the miracle of resurrection. God showed up with a bigger and better package. God says, the divine help you will receive will totally outclass the physical help you were expecting. When people delay in helping you as promised, God will shock them by sending you help that is better than the help they were about to offer you. Get set for Divine Help; get set for help that will be bigger, better and more profound than the help of men. Prayer : Lord, grant me Divine help that is better than the help of men, in Jesus’ name!Amen Have A Blessed Tuesday. |
“...Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.” (Mark 16: 1) That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today. In our Focal Scripture, some women bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint Jesus’ body. Their plan was to make Jesus' dead body look better and smell better; they weren't trying to change the situation from death to resurrection; they wanted to maintain the status quo. They came to perfume a bad situation. Isn’t it true that sometimes, we literally perfume situations that are already bad? We often manage situations that need to change; we manage health situations that are already bad; we manage financial situations that are already beyond our control; we perfume marriages that are already badly cracked; we often paper over the cracks in our careers and businesses when they are already on the brink of collapse. Friend, instead of managing bad situations, hand them over to God and ask Him to turn things around. If there has been a collapse, acknowledge it and ask God to intervene. If your family, marriage, career, business, academics, etc have already been crucified, ask God to intervene with the power of resurrection. Those women were not in a position to resurrect Jesus’ body; they knew a God who could make it happen, yet they went to manage what God could change. You may not be in a position to change it, but God is not as stranded as you are. You may not be in a position to handle it, so give God a chance to handle it. God turned around the same situation that the women in our Focal Scripture sought to manage. Hand every bad situation over to God, and be sure that He can and will handle it. Prayer : Lord, I refuse to manage bad situations; turn things around for me, in Jesus’ name!Amen Have A Blessed Monday And A Fruitful Week Ahead! |
Roman 8:11 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you. Because The Spirit that raised up Jesus from the dead (The Holy Ghost) dwell in you: From this Resurrection Monday, that same Spirit shall quicken everything that is dead or dying in your life & destiny (your health, finance, academic, business, carrier, marriage, relationship,...) back to life super naturally In Jesus Name! Good morning and wishing you a blessed Easter monday |
“And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.” (Mark 16: 1) That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today. After Jesus’ crucifixion, there was Jesus’ resurrection; after what looked like bad news of crucifixion, there was good news of resurrection; after the pain and disappointment of death, there was a better and more rewarding experience of everlasting life. What seemed to have begun on a sad note ended on a happy note; what began on a note of pain and shame eventually ended in praise. Friend, hear God’s prophetic word: everything you are passing through will end in praise. Your setbacks will end in praise; your disappointments will end in praise; every embarrassment that has come your way will end in praise; every wickedness against you will end in praise; every conspiracy against you will end in your favour; every plot against your greatness will end in praise; every opposition against your progress will end in praise. The enemy will not have the final say on your destiny; those who hate and despise you will not have the last laugh in your life; the enemies of your progress will not have the upper hand over you; the wishes of the enemy will not prevail over you; even when the enemy appears to make some progress in pulling you down, he will ultimately fail woefully. Invite God into every crucifixion experience and ask Him to have the final say. Ask God to turn your crucifixion around with the miracle of resurrection. Ask God to cause every negative experience in your life to end in praise. Psalm 126 vs. 6 captures it aptly: “He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” Prayer : Lord, everything in my life shall end in praise, in Jesus’ name!Amen Have A Super Easter Sunday. |

Matthew 27:51-52 51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, 52 and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; At the death of Jesus, the veil of the temple was rent into two (granting you unrestricted access into God presence & His Word that you need for your physical transformation). The earth shall quake on your behalf to release all your blessing that has been buried, & every grave that has swallow your blessings (your healing, deliverance, marriage, children, job, success, promotion, prosperity,...) shall open to release all your blessings this season to make this Easter a unique one for you & also release all that belongs to you that has been denied you since you know God & known of Him In Jesus Name!
