I had my first on Oct 31st 2016 via cs so this time I decided to try for a VBAC.

Contraction started off and on for a week before 9th of October but the regular and real contraction started in the night on Monday 8th October. It was back to back contraction that I didn't sleep all through the night, by 4am hubby called one of his friend that is mobile to take us to the hospital, in my mind I taut I will be 5cm gone because of the strong contraction I was having all though the previous night. We got to the hospital by 6am I was checked and was told that I was just 2cm with all the strong contractions. An IV line was set for me around 8am and I dilated to 6cm from that time to like 3pm. The gyne did VE and said the baby was in anterior position that is baby coming face up or something so the labour was not really progressing plus I had a previous scar so they can't allow me to continue to labour for more than 12hours so i was sectioned. That was how I ended up going for emergency CS. Baby came on hubby's birthday.

Please manage my birth story am not a good writer.

We enjoyed it, it's a blessing to give birth and see your baby alive and you alive, to God be the glory.

Oh! So my lovely princess arrived on Monday 8th as against EDD of 30th September weighing 3.3kg.

My BS
Pregnancy was hitch free except for morning sickness that did not last the first trimester. EDD lapse and I wasn't feeling anything.so doctor said I should report for induction of labour at 41 weeks. 2 days to the said 41 weeks, I started seeing blood stain with leaking amniotic fluid. Reported to the hospital @ 41 weeks as planned and was already 4cm gone. I was assisted for membrane rupture and the contraction became more intense. By 3pm. I was checked and was only 5cm gone. Haaa! If I could report to the hospital with 4cm, then 9am to 3pm, all I had was 1cm. I requested to have an emergency CS and the doctors decline. Said queue for surgery was much. So they augmented labour and at 6pm, I was still at 5cm with real pain. When I couldn't bear the pain again, my sister in law made an arrangement for epidural and I was administered. Few hours later, I reached 10cm but baby wasn't coming out. They kept on saying baby head has not crown. They kept on asking me to push, but for every push, nah poo dey come out. Baby was later assisted using vacuum extractor. Then devil won struck again. Placenta was delivered and I started bleeding. The two doctors and nurses were already running around. U know that hospital med team commotion things. At the end the bleeding was arrested and I was sutured as I had episiotomy done. In all, I give thanks to Almighty Allah for giving me a second chance to live. Baby, daddy and mummy is saying thank you to all Nairaland mama for helping us out through the course of this journey. We all remaining mamas would deliver safely inshalla and all TTC mums shall carry there LO sooner than they expect

Thank God it ended in praise mama, love to our baby.

I conceived via ART so I was told to plan for elective CS since its a precious baby.Had been having contractions off and on from 28weeks.Was even admitted cos of it and given mess to calm the contractions. So, I went for ANC at about 38+ weeks and was told that my baby's heartbeat is not too good. So I was admitted for CTG monitoring, started having contractions but cervix was not opening at all. After over 12 hrs ,they noticed baby's heartbeat was slowing down esp with strong contractions. So I consented to a C section. Was taken to the theatre and spinal anesthesia given.I became numb waist down. Few seconds later, I couldn't feel my arms as well and could not breath nor swallow. I was struggling to talk but they couldn't hear me so I started praying and declaring that I shall not die. I heard the Dr's telling me to breath but I couldnt. Then one person said "She's unresponsive" that was the last thing I remember. Next I saw was my baby was out and wasn't crying, but few seconds later ,I heard her crying at a distance. Next I heard was see your baby.I looked to my side and beheld the most pretty baby girl I've ever seen. To the glory of God, I came out of that theatre alive with a living baby. God Almighty came through for me. The God of awesome wonders, faithful God, prayer answering father, merciful God completed that which He started to the shame of the devil.

To God be the glory mama, it's not easy but God promised to save women at childbirth, He's faithful

This journey started in 2013 from TTC thread where my search for fibroid melting took me, i registered in 2014 by 2015 June 15th I decided with hubby to prayerfully remove it surgically instead of trial and error alternatives and with God's help it was successful.
Then no pregnancy recorded again till this year 2018 after so many prophecy and words of knowledge God took me unawares and did it suddenly.
Then the preg journey began, it was wonderfu and successfull to the glory of God except lil body changes here and there.
Fast forward to sept 25th at 35th week I went for anc and doc told me that because of the myomectomy that I will deliver through elcs at 38 weeks to avoid me falling into labour because of uterine rupture.
On the 9th of Oct I I went for normal anc but complained to doc that I noticed baby wasn't moving like b4 since sunday, that was how they detained me oh that they won't let me go and I was put under observation by 8:30 I was wheeled into the theatre and baby came out by 8:45pm and I was wheeled out by 9:45 To the glory of God. I am still overwhelmed by the fact that I'm a mommy now, it was just like yesterday when I got my bfp after getting another report of another fibroid in the womb that God took away and planted my precious princess.
I felt every pressure of bringing out the baby, placenta, and the stitching.....
It wasn't that easy but it was worth it because it finally ended in praise and I'm a mommy by God's grace.

To all our ttc mamas the same God that remembered me and by passed protocol to bless me will surely visit you all suddenly in Jesus name.

To my waddling mamas you all shall deliver safely at the set time in Jesus mighty name Amen.

Mamas thank God with me oh, God has blessed me with a precious princess at 8:45pm yesterday and the journey to this testimony started from here.
Pls praise this Jehova overdo for accomplishing this beautiful journey He started in me.
I use her as a point of contact to you my sisters that this God that remembered me will visit you all b4 this year runs out in Jesus mighty name Amen.

Let's come out and make some noise.
Have you taken your early morning walk?
ANC is now on a weekly basis so feel free to ask questions from your Dr.
Check what facilities they have to cater for a jaundiced newborn, take a look at their NICU, blood bank etc. We won't need it by God's grace but we need all the reassurance we can get.
I'm sure bags are packed. Don't forget to get a wrapper as that would be most comfortable the first few days.
Have you been cleaning your nipps? Scrub those dark and crusty stuff off it, we don't want baby ingesting it.
I'm sure you have all downloaded the contraction timer app. It will help to distinguish between real and false labour.
Remember to have no fear, our body was made to do this. Women have been birthing easily and successfully since time immemorial, ours will not be different. It will be easier and faster.
Do your squats, tidy up the house, put finishing touches, make your hair, always have credit on your phone, have a driver at hand, use your drugs èsp the fesolate and don't stop praying.
May our joy not be cut short.

I begged nd begged for a CS cos I felt something was wrong. Finally by 4am I was cut open and they discovered that the cord was wrapped around my baby's neck twice... and the more she tried to descend, the tighter it got. Amniotic fluid was gone nd she had even pooed. I was told that if she had stayed for 30 more mins or so, it would have been too late for her. So help me thank my Jehovah overdo for not letting my 9 months journey be in vain. Help me thank God for my strong woman.

Please to our experienced saby mamas' my baby was weighing 2.62kg@35weeks2days and we still have +-4weeks to go,I want to know if the weight at this stage is normal or there's the possibility of giving birth at the normal weight range or is there anything I can eat to boost the weight?NOTE:I have not been selective with food since the inception of this pregnancy,anything can go for me.as I await your swift response I wish everyone of Us a blissful Sunday and a Prosperous New Week

Mama your lo's weight at 35 weeks is perfect but you can increase the intake of protein if you want bigger baby but you may have massive baby and massive tear too, just continue to eat well and healthy, you and baby are fine.

In other news, I'm heartbroken​
So today is our baby's naming

Far above my disappointment, i felt sorry for her and thankful to God for her life.

My baby's naming however went well. The day couldn't be paused, held down or rewinded and this day won't come again and sadly the memories of dis day wasn't captured. Hmmmn.

Mama's join me in welcoming my third soldier. I had him on the 3rd of October at 38 weeks thru C-section ( repeat C-section) ,he weight 5.1kg.
I thank God for everything he has done and everything he will continue to do. I was intially booked for an elective C-section on the 10 the of Oct, but I thank God for giving me the knowledge and wisdom to speak up and follow my instinct.
It was a big risk cause I had a bad last year July through C-section and then this year, because in the medical field I was able to ague my point on why the C-section should be done this week if not uterine rupture would have been my enemies portion not mine in Jesus Name.
I wish all waddling Mama's safe delivery, the babies in your womb you will suckle in Jesus Name.
And those believing God for the fruit of the womb, the Lord that did it for me after 4 years of battling secondary infertility is still on the throne and will do it for each and every one of you in the Mighty name of Jesus.

Congrats mama and welcome to your 3rd soldier, to God be the glory dear.

My own chop chop no get Part 2 now....according to my hubby my food detector is very high....I can sight anything eatable from a distance

Too bad in Uyo they don't hawk much along my route....else everyday i will b returning with a bag full of Okpa,Agidi,icecream and friends after school runs

This is serious, I'm happy for all of you that can eat now, I can't eat much o, a lil breakfast, tiny lunch @2 or 3pm even 4 sometimes and that is it, if I try to put any other thing in my stomach, esp fruits, heartburn will start dealing with me and get worse as soon as my head hit the pillows of course I pack 3 for my head to prop me up and reduce the acid reflux . I only enjoy daytime naps, drink cold water much and pee a lot now and then walk like obogu, thank God for all these!
