I felt movt very early... say 17weeks. Been feeling kicks too.

I am on d big side... but not adding weight.... just added 4kg since the start of this journey.....
I used to feel kicks very well but of late its movt.....
And i touch my tommy to feel it.

Maybe she changed her pattern, jst observe for now, around 32wks my lo stopped kicking too only movement, was worried at first but when he resumed duty I had to start begging him to take it easy.

I feel my baby kicking from the outside and not inside... isnt that weird?

Is ur placenta posterior or anterior? If it's anterior dat could be the reason, It could also be because of ur stature, I heard ppl who are on the big side don't get to feel kicks much dunno if dat's true.

I started feeling baby's kicks from 20wks, I don't even have to touch before feeling it.

You can try out this method, drink cold water then lie down on your left side in a quiet place you should feel it.

I had elective CS. I would opt for it over and over again. My only ish is I read about women that complain about stitches opening up after CS in Nigeria and im concerned or even episiotomy pains.
If you can afford to have your child abroad, please go for it. The experience is amazing.

Even in Nigeria I have ppl dat gave birth through CS you won't even know except they tell you. My cousin and a few friends I know were already active d second day after the deed.

May it end in praise for us all ooo, I took a walk yesterday too, will do that again today, I've stopped taking cold water, was advised to be taking hot tea(lipton +milk) b4 going to bed,and once I wake which I did yesterday, so dnt knw which of them triggered the contractions. As for kpekusing, ha me n DH no dey carry last for that one these days ooooo, all we want is out Lo in our arms, so all options are being explored. Lol

I was banned from kpekusing since day one of my pregnancy so it's now I want to start.

By his grace done dearie, tnks for the concern. Was just having serious contractions this morning, it was really painful, I guess it's false labor. Called MIL and she laffed. Mehn this thing ain't easy ooooo. Lol

I experienced one too dis midnight, I was already rejoicing that finally only to wake up this morning and it has disappeared. I guess it was d pineapple and long walk I had yesterday dat caused it. Am patiently waiting for DH to come so I can try kpekusing too.

Finally, my family friend that is a nurse witnessed the struggle and bought dis medication for him. For the 1st time, I can see my son p.o.o.p without stress!

I'm so excited

It's really a testimony, I do battle with it too and I can understand that feeling of not being able to do the do easily.

..Praise the lord sombori....God has bless us with baby boy yesterday by 11:30pm thru VD weighing 3.6kg..
but the midwife cut my yansh oo....mom and baby are doin great. meanwhile my edd na sept 20...God of sharp sharp brought him..entered labour room 10:30 came out 11:30..FTM.....B.S later...

@ nennynj, when I was 30wks pregnant my midwife directed me to see gynae in order to discuss my birth plan coz of my history (I ttc for 4yrs with two MCs and was admitted for PROM at 22wks) so she doesn't want to take chances. When I met with gynae he z based on my current scan there is nothing stopping me from VD except something comes up in later scans and so far everything has been OK.
Am thinking the reason your gynae suggested CS is coz of ur age, I read somewhere that age also matters in choosing birth plan, they don't like taking chances with older patients.
Whichever plan you decide to go for it will all end in praise. You will celebrate with me and I will also celebrate with you ijn.

sorry about my hiatus. My little husband has decided he would sleep nowhere else but in my arms or on my bossoms. I envy people that have their mums/MIL doing omugwo for them..you guys are lucky.

He deserves that place o, u know how long he has desired that place and God has finally made it a reality. Please enjoy it.
As for the omugwo things I don't envy you o , I have plenty ppl dat ll do o, infact my mum has started her own now since hubby is not always around.

God is had shown His never ending mercies upon me and my family. I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl at 9:53 am 7/09/2016. Her name is Adeteniola Eyitayo. Mum,dad, baby and grand parents are doing great.

Labour is the real deal mehn and epidural is the greatest invention mehn(winks).

You are almost at the finish line. I don't think there's cause for alarm but please report to ur gynae or doctor asap. When I was contracting I didn't feel the tightening too o. I twas much later about a few mins to delivery I felt my tommy hard. Easy peasy delivery to you.....

Is d menstrual pain continuous? If it's off and on, try timing it from d beginning of one to d beginning of d next one. See if there's a pattern or if it's regular. All the best dear.

It was continuous initially bt has subsided now. I ll try out your suggestion, thanks for the prompt response.

Alert! Alert!! Alert!!! GOD has smiled on me. I'm a mother to a healthy baby boy born at 37 weeks weighing exactly 3kg, yesterday 6th of September. My Shalom is the most peaceful baby ever just as his name implies. GOD has restored me and healed my badly broken heart after a loss at 42 weeks in 2014. My heart is soooo full of gratitude and happiness. I pray for all Atc mums,especially those who have lost a child that soonest,you will testify to GOD's goodness. I wish my fellow team september mums and other preggy mums a safe delivery. May G0Ð bless us all, Amen.

my dear, I think we are in the same boat ooo, have been having this on and off tightening since last week, but for two days now, its been intense and painful though at random intervals.
My edd is tomorrow, don't know if I should wait it out or go anyways, but these govt hospitals midwives can sabi yabb cos am not a first timer, no water has broken nor bloody show. Just trying not to fret, I hope sabi mamas can torchlight our matter, it will surely end in praise.

Am also experiencing something similar here, though av never felt the tightening stuff bt am feeling menstrual pain and it's more intense than before.
Sabi mamas plz help a FTM here, how do I time menstrual pain since am not experiencing tightening?

We're in the same boat o, anytime I noticed am wet na to check pant to confirm whether na show.I no longer use elevator in d Oviz am now team staircase. Am seriously praying for baby to show next week or upper week, can't wait to meet my Lo after years of ttc.
