Thanks blessedmum. I am 36w3 today and I have spoken to my doc. She said there is nothing to worry about that my cervix is softening in preparation for delivery. The blood really made me freak out

Hello mamas, how una dey?

So in the middle of my sleep I felt a strong urge to pee, I couldn't hold it so it kind of peed on myself or so I thought but I still continued sleeping until I started feeling uncomfortable in my wet pant. So I went to the restroom and I saw a bloody show, to say that I was shocked is an understatement. I had bright red blood sorry tmi on my pant. I quickly googled bloody show and I read that labor could be a few hours away.

I am a bit worried cos EDD is by month end and I am thinking it's too early. I haven't called my doc yet though, wanna give it a few more hours as I don't feel any pains yet.

Has any mama been in this situation before?

How many weeks are you now? Mitchyy gave birth at 36 wks 5days and I know another mama also gave birth at 35wks Anak123 or so, so I ll advice u relax ur mind. Easy delivery for u ijn.
We're almost edd buddy(though av decided to stick to scan's own and d menstrual pain as been feeling since 3weeks ago is now becoming frequent so am sure it won't take long before baby show up.

I've done like 4 scan abii izit 5 sef. The kind of bleeding I've passed through this period. Sometimes I think I'd prefer MS in exchange for it. in fact on Thursday night I thought it was all over because I bled all through with clots till Friday morning. Early in the morning I took a bath and went to the clinic to check if there's anything remaining and get the necessary medications and antibiotics if need be. I didn't want to look at the screen. Hmmmm. Dr said you're baby is still there just that you're bleeding around the cervical area and point of implantation( Grammar). I've had to stop the cyclogest because of the bleeding. Am on duphaston tds . am a little scared of the sharp drop in dosage. My faith is up. That's all I can hold on to for now. Medicine seem to have failed but I believe God cannot.

God ll see u thru, u ll laugh last ijn. Plz just make sure u relax ur mind.

when we r 31w3d today with ideal weight of 1.6kg

iomoge2 sorry about the fall and hope u're strong now. As regards the scan, there is nothing to be worried about my baby has always been reading two weeks ahead. My recent scan at 36weeks shows baby is now weighing 2.8kg .
Before I forget plz bring party rice for ur girl, seriously craving for one.

I posted this on the 31st of August 2015 and here we're September 2016 and awaiting the arrival of my testimony in some weeks time.
It was in this same month in the year 2013 that I had my first MC and this great God has decided to compensate me.
Can't stop appreciating u lord and I use this opportunity to pray for my Atc sisters, let there be abundant overflow of BFP's in their midst ijn.

@Omoyeni3601; God that remembered me after 9 yrs± in TTC thread is still very much at work. The prayer session in Dec. 2015 in TTC thread was part of what gave me victory. Be strong... Ur prayer has been answered.

I watched all the 'watchables' when i was preggy.

I watched videos of vaginal birth with and withouy epidural, i watched videos of C-section even when i didnt plan for it. I just wanted to be prepared. And when my belly was being sliced, nothing felt strange to me. I anticipated everything

It's good to be prepared, it helps allays fears. I have experienced VE before so I know what to expect in dat aspect. Whichever way it is all I want is healthy mum and baby.

i posted a personal/ongoing and painful experience for people to learn from and she wants to turn it to something else.
