Many South Africans have been mourning the death of the award-winning musician Riky Rick, ever since he passed away on Wednesday due to an alleged suicide. And lately, it has been reported that the musician has left a suicide note for his wife Bianca, and his kids. The screenshot of the alleged suicide note has been doing the rounds on social media ever since it came to light.


Many South Africans and the world have been mourning his death ever since it was reported by his spokesperson that he passed away. The entertainment industry, especially the music side has lost a legend-in-the-making according to my opinion of how this musician handled himself.

As I've mentioned that according to reports, the award-winning rapper riky Rick reportedly left a suicide note. And a suicide note was allegedly leaked by a local publication detailing the information that Ricky Rick left a chilling suicide note for his wife Bianca and their children.

Below is the screenshot is taken from the suicide note that has been doing the rounds on social media. You can read all about it on the screenshot below as it starts by saying "Dear Bianca" who is Ricky Rick's wife.

According to the screenshot as you can read you can see that the rapper allegedly talks about a pain that is too much for him, and he doesn't blame his wife for the pain because she gave him more love than he deserved as he says.

He further apologize for being the one who gives up but the pain was feeling too much for him to deal with. He further talks about the voices in his head that never went away and he wished that he was strong, but according to the screenshot, he said he was not strong enough and he asked for his wife to forgive him.

He further left a message for his son.
The award-winning rapper asked his son to follow his passion, and this is what he had to say, “Follow your passion, my son. The world is better than you can ever imagine. I love You.”


And lastly to his son Jordan:
he further went on and send another message to his other child Jordan, and this is what he had to say to him, “Jordan, the best thing that ever happened in my life. You taught me so much about life. Thank you for being so good to me. Thank you for being such an inspiration to me. I love you.”

As men, we should learn to speak up about what is bothering us than bottling it inside because this leads to family's left broken just as it has with Ricky Rick's family.

Self-acclaimed Agege music legend identified as Muraino Aboki, expresses anger after getting blocked on Instagram by fast-rising singer, Zinoleesky.


This comes after the singer was arrested by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, for alleged possession of illegal substances.

According to Muraino in a video, Zinoleesky who used to live opposite his room blocked him on the image-sharing platform on the claim of being the voice of ‘Agege.’

The Nigerian navy ranks and salary structure depend on two categories. The Naval officers in the force can either be commissioned or non-commissioned.

1. COMMISSIONED OFFICERS
Some of the Commissioned officers of the Nigerian Navy are graduates of the Nigeria Defense Academy, Kaduna. While some are University graduates or shortlisted from the Direct short service commission.

These officers earn a better salary than the Non-commissioned officers. Also, they are mostly found at the top scale of the Nigerian Navy salary. Their roles majorly are to make decisions and lead others.

There are twelve ranks within the commissioned cadre. Starting from the least which is the Mid-shipman to the topmost which is the Admiral of the fleet. New graduates from the Nigeria Defense Academy and other intakes start as Mid-shipmen. They continue to climb up the ladder to the topmost level which is the Admiral of the fleet.

Below is the list of the ranks in the commissioned cadre according to the Nigerian navy ranks and salary scale.

i. Mid-Shipman – ₦118,835 monthly, ₦1,426,020 annually

ii. Acting Sub-Lieutenant – ₦130,852 monthly, ₦1,570,224 annually

iii. Sub-Lieutenant – ₦150,625 monthly, ₦1,807,500 annually

iv. Lieutenant – ₦195,685 monthly, ₦2,348,220 annually

v. Lieutenant Commander – ₦230,652 monthly, ₦2,767,500 annually

vi. Commander – ₦281,673 monthly, ₦3,380,076 annually

2. NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS
These categories of officers are those recruited from the usual advertised recruitment exercise of the Nigerian Navy. They are at the base of the ladder in the hierarchy of the Nigerian Navy.

According to the Nigerian navy ranks and salary structure, their salaries are less compared to the Commissioned officers. Even though, their salaries also increase as their ranks increase.

Below is the salary structure of Nigeria’s navy non-commissioned officers in ascending order.

i. Trainee – Trainee is not paid until they finish their training. They get paid only after being, promoted, enlisted, and when they became a Naval officer.

ii. Ordinary Rating – ₦45,854 monthly, ₦550,140 annually

iii. Able Rating – ₦50,855 monthly, ₦610,260 annually

iv. Leading Rating – ₦70,855 monthly, ₦850,260 annually

v. Petty Officer – ₦80,852 monthly, ₦970,224 annually

vi. Chief Petty Officer – ₦90,825 monthly, ₦1,089,900 annually

vii. Warrant Chief Petty Officer – ₦120,853 monthly, ₦1,450,236 annually


With the above-listed salary of the Nigerian Navy, we can say the Navy Force is one of the high-paying government agencies in Nigeria.


Note: Apart from these salaries, naval officers get other benefits and emoluments such as travel allowances especially when deployed on special assignments.
