I believe dis thread was resurected to afford some people the chance to talk more about Mode cos obviosly Mode topic is dieing a natural death. Dat said, i also think u made sense when u said we all dont have to go softcore. Mode is reaching his target audience with hardcore. What i dont understand is why Mode cant concentrate on satisfying those his target market to the fullest. Why go after Rugged? Or are u trying to tell me that part of what he has to do to satisfy his audience was to attack Rugged. He should have left Rugged to keep giving those wack tracks to us the shoe makers and mechanics. We were really loving it and still loving it.

Peter had answered this question long ago. Peter said when it comes to thier music, he contributs 40% while Paul gives the remaining 60% but when it comes to the dance aspect, he gives 60% while his brother gives 40%. It simply means they compliment each other so there is no room for comparison.

Nice one. It got me noding my head which mean say if i was @ a club it'll definitly get me on my feet. I also think Jarule used the opening beat. "When they ask who the best is mention my name", one famous and controversial 9ja rapper used that line, but still good.

I've read it all but i still cant understand why some people are attacking Magnum, save for the fact that some one said that abusive Sauron = Magnum and every Mode fan started attacking Magnum. Please what i'm i missing? U dont have to throw ur weight around so much b4 teaching me. I just want to learn. So tell me.

To tell u guys the truth, i dont think Magnum has done any thing to any body here. U all cant be heeping insults on another fellow cos some one on NL said Sauron = Magnum. I cant remenber Magnum ever dissing Mode so all u Mode fan should stop this nonsense. The person u have problem with is Sauron not Magnum. Do u guys know who blinx is? What if some tells u dat blinx is Paul Play. What will u all Mode fans do? Start insulting Paul Play when u'er not even sure Blinx is Paul Play. It's all these gulibility of our thats making all these artist take us for a ride.

What's even wrong with these artists? They cant say what their problem is yet they cant keep quiet. I still believe all these are publicity stunt. They want to keep u guesing. Keep u hanging on their words. And we'er all really hanging there.

it was on news two years ago or almost two yrs ago that mode sold his car. I dont why he sold it but the feeling we got back then was that he sold to pick a better one.But he never did. Maybe he sold to settle som inportant debt or maybe he invested it, like using the money to work on his latest album and set up his redeye stuff. I dont know but the fact is that Mode sold that car u were refering to.

Its funny how mode rugged issue keeps poping up through one thread after the other. We'll soon get tired of this thread and then someone will start a new one and we'll all jump on it and start saying almost the same thing over and over again.

I dont know why it's Rugged's fans that'll always be reasonable but Mode's can never. Look at Tosin askind Sauran to soft pedal on Mode. Can Khanye ask Javalove to take it easy on Rugged? Pls Khanye ansa that question.

I totally agree with you. If Rugged come with the i saved the industry yarns again in his next album i might be offended. But i dont think he will cos he only said it in ruggedy baba track in his last album. He might not repeat it again in his next album but i still xpext the usual hip hop braging.

u cant rule out demon completely from rock or any other genre of music but i think rock is more pronounce. I also want you to know that there are lots of gospel rock band out there, even heavy metal gospel rock, atleast i've seen some on the net and in Wow videos. I love rock alot but definitly not metal. I'm sure Rugged has listened to the album but is trying to make it seem like he's too busy to listen to boring songs from 9. He also didn't meean that Mode did about 9 songs in PS directed at him, what he was saying was that Mode has in the past to date done abou 9 tracks directed at him without having the balls to mention he's name. Even if Rugged doesn't listen, he has peolple who will listen and report back to him or maybe while driving he might decide to listen to 9's album.

It's not like Mode doesn't do shows at all but u cant compare the kind of show he does to the type Rugged, MI and Naeto C rock and the last two are very new in the industry. Truth be told, Mode is not an intresting character. I believe he's boring by nature and only him lafs to his own jokes or may be Khanye and Javalove, that make it 3 people.

Mode 9 Rugged didn't want to do this but now look at what u've done to u. Bangging was a decoy, the real shit is yet to come.
I tire for naigerians. If Rugged had been evasive in his response some wont be happy especially he's hard core fans and some will say he's even far more scared of mode than u thought. Now that he is direct u say he's being personal and all that. You say he cant diss mode back yet he's busy granting interviews. Rugged as a smart artist knows the power of the press. If he refuses to grant an interview, they'll finish him in the press. Besides he advised artists to do alot of interviews in his hip hop 101 lecture. The guy try abeg. He cant please every body. Rugged is not even playing dirty yet, at least he has not let out all of mode's dirty little secrets, like the artist of the 100 euro show bill. I believe he has enough stuffs on mode to make a good diss track. I'd have said that Rugged was being too boastfull in the interview but common, he's a rap artist and that's what they do. Another thing, MI was proping Mode in the last WAPI at abuja but i wonder what will be going on in his mind right now that he is busy rocking show and Mode is not.

I gave it 5 star b4 and i still dey give am. If 6 star dey i 4 give am. As far as i am cocerned, flex and most songs on his new album are even better than Akon's latest effort. Yes! I said that.

If rugged said that, coming from a hip hop artist, i tell u that's very mild. Those guys (hip hop) artists are known to be arogant, boastful and general nonsense. One thing i'm sure of is that Rugged was helped by some one in the past b4 he made it big and i also know that Rugged honestly helps uplift artists and producers. Which major artist featured in his last album, or u think he's not friends with Dbang, Faze, Psquare and the rest of them. There'll definitly be some iota of jealousy especially from some cats that feel they'er better but not getting the recognition and dough they deserve. Rugged cant please every body so all these guys should just chill.

I didn't know Rugged disrespects people. I've only met Rugged once at Ibiza in Abuja and when i went to him, there was no airs around him. The dude was very nice and the few guys that have worked with him that i've come across always say the guy is a very humble guy but always ready to strike if u Bleep with him. So i dont know where all these respect thing is coming from. There is more to it than we the fans can understand and these artist will never tell u the real deal. I also noticed Illblis said Rugged is a milestone in 9ja hip hop and i think thats mature on his part. I like u go wound by illblis and i'll definitly buy his album when it drops.

Despite the fact that i always insist i prefere Rugged to mode, after watching their freestyling on Jimmy jump off, i posted on this forum that Rugged's freestyle wasn't good and mode's own was better. That not witstanding, Rugged is still way better than mode when it comes to giving good rap tracks. Freestyling might not be his thing, i still prefere him to mode.

When u make a mistake and u'er corrected, rather than accept ur mistake, u go insulting. How do u learn? Khanye listen clearly, Resonanse is made up of a girl that sings and a guy that raps. I'm sure u've not listened to thier albums. If u say the guy doesn't rap, it simply means Q Tip doesn't rap. Learn boy.

Mode works 4 me but the likes of Rugged, Gino, Saucekibaba, MI works better. It's all about choices, but the sooner u stoped running Rugged down the better 4 u.

It's not that Skingo and Tonsin are the only ones suporting Rugged but it's just that i'm tired of responding to the likes of Java and Khanye the so called Mode fans cos it'll only amount to saying the same thing over and over again. Every honest and descerning person knows that Mode started dis beef thing and Rugged all the while was telling him to mind his business, but if he wants war, he should put Ruggedman in his flow and then get ready to for an all out war. Mode came close to calling his name on death blow but couldn't. The whole hype about Mode dissing Rugged is gradually dieing down, even on NL. Mode will soon go back to obscurity and only a response from Rugged can bring him out again. I dont know anything about lyricist, what i know is good music and Rugged gives me a better music than Mode has ever done.

Then i must be blind. But Khanye is it bad to wear head warmer or to have a trade mark or signature? See the way u'er really trying to prove to me that what mode has on his head is not a head warmer just to justify all those nonsense he said about rugged and head warmer. Sorry 4 u.
