Crowd mentality is the original MI but like some one dat desires to succeed in the rap game had to rebrand and repackage himself to sound a little bit like Kanyeye and a little bit like weezy and it worked for him. I didn't read it up anywhere, just somthing some poeple i know dat think they know whats happening in the entertainment circles told me. I didn't say i read, i said i heard. Just like when i heard dat Naeto C is Kema Chikwe's son. I didn't believe it till i saw his interview on thisday newspaper.

I've been made to believe dat 2face and Dbanj were beefing. They even pointed out the fact dat in Darey's video "carry dey go" dat 2face was never shot 2geda with Dbanj and the rest. I was asked to listen to "if i dey craze" by Dbanj. I was told dat the song was 4 2face especially dat part where he said because u'er a UN ambasador doesn't mean you should mess with me. We all know dat 2face is a UN ambasador just like Dbanj. I believed the story but last week 2face did his aniversary concert in abuja and Dbanj was one of the artist dat performed. The question now is how can they be quarelling and Dbanj get to perform in his show or did they make up? Anybody know anything?

I totally agree with u 100%. Apart from enter the place, unstopable is one of the albums i play without skiping tracks. The thing is that most peeps dont have independent views on any topic. They'er only interested in joining the band wagon just to look politically correct and sound like a stand-up guy or chick. Ask most peeps what they hate about unstopable and u'll realise they hate it because every body seem to hate it, not because they believe the musik is bad. Mind u, every shop u enter has unstopable and peeps are still buying the album even as of now, yet they say the album is weak.
2face has to go tru this phase to become a better person.
As for the babies, though i dont gbadu dat but i'd rather he have to flush them out like some people do. Just cos we know a few mistakes he's made doesn't mean we crucify him. Peeps have worse secrets. On a last note, 2face ROCKS.

I’ve kept off Rugged Mode topic for some time now but I feel it’s time to start another just to get the xcitement back.
I recently got the new album "Last Kiss" by Jadakiss and one of the tracks was titled “what if” where he featured Nas. The track is similar in style to what Rugged did in the past and didn’t even dim it fit to include in any of his albums but here was two of the world’s best MCs doing it in 2009.
The question is
what if Rugged hadn’t done it?
what if mode had done it?
what if mode did it b4 Kiss and Nas?
what if what if…, ?
I believe by now NL would have been agog with roaches who only value anything that has mode in it running round doing what they know best. Like it or hate it Rugged remains a pioneer in hip hop emancipation in 9ja and still very relevant 2day. His name is still Rugged so let the game begin and he has sky high lyrics that defies physics. whats ur problem? I've delibrately kept off this rugmode issue but seeing ur post i feel so disgusted. Coolguyz never said that rugged raps better than mode. He's only saying that rugged is smarter than mode and has more street credility than him which all have worked in his favor. He tries to tell u dat even big brands that pay the big money have more respect 4 rugged than mode. U'er so blinded by hate dat u nolonger read to understand. I xpect u to attack after this. For all the artists that have been there done dat and f, kd around i think 2face is the most improved of them all. Everything that comes out now sounds like D banj, colomental and Timaya but 2baba brought a breath of fresh air to clear up the too many noise. There's no questioning 2baba's effort in this album. I dont know why people keep hating on "flex". That track is favourite followed closely by "i sing", the track i love to call 100% 2face. This album is one of the few albums in the market today dat u can listen to without skiping a track.
I dont agree dat 2baba was cruising through the tracks. He's just like Akon. Musik made easy. They both make bad song or wack artist sound interesting.

I cant conclude 4 now cos i've not heard the song or seen the video but her first album was good and i believe the one she's working on will be good as well. Lets just wait and see. I liked "life or death" most in her first album. Check out dat her first album b4 writing her off.

Mode tried but Rugged was the biggest let down and i wasn't down with what ever Ajasa was doing.
Bouqie did not disapoint as usual.
Naeto C and MI did well in my opinion.
I'll like to see Gino, Sauce Kid, Gheto P, Dark Poet, Studd, Sossik, Shank on Jimmy's Jump off.
