You can study either and still work in either fields.

My advise is move with people that does what interests you in the field which could either be programming (sciences) or networking (engineering).

The advantage engineering might have over sciences is that some companies e.g oil would have a vacant position for any engineer, that way you stand a better chances.

I studied sciences and I currently work with colleagues that studied engineering. So, you may say they’re interwoven.

P.S: engineering is a bit harder than sciences.

I'm not so familiar with Surulere, but I had a friend that did rent a self contain for around your quoted figure.

The least I'd found on the Island which is per chance was a 400k in V.I but you can hardly escape the 100k extra which is for both agreement and legal.

That'd be an hard thing to come by. A minimum of 400/500 should suffice. Hopefully you'd meet the owner that would save you agreement (10%) and agency (10%) fees.
