Remimadrid: They will be busy bombing and destroying their own land, while blamiming the federal for their doing so, while their leaders from the niger delta becomes wealthier. Niger delta youths are the most stupid set of people in the world. You dare insult my people after stealing our God given resources? So we should our arms and watch you reap our resources and get fat while the only thing we deserve is pipeline survellance? You accuse our leaders of getting wealthier? How many of them own oil wells in our region? The hausa/fulani and yorubas daily rape our land and harvest our resources and then turn around to blame our leaders for the predicament of the region? Are our leader responsible for pipeline maintainance? Are the the cause of corrosion in pipelines? Are the responsible for bad pipeline welding? You think we are fools? |

Politics › Re: Nigeria's Union Non-negotiable - Goodluck Jonathan (Throwback) by Blizzy9ja: 3:13pm On Aug 23, 2017 |
Adminisher: Wrong. There was no call for One Nigeria before the civil war. One Nigeria call shows sensitivity to that history not that we were forced into a union. All tribes in Nigeria flavoured for a united independent Nigeria together. There was no clamour for Bisfra at independence. People are just being cowardly, childish and immature because Goodluck Jonathan was booted out. After all these years can you really look back and say Nigeria is One?... What exactly is it that unites us apart from the oil in the Niger Delta? It is not about GEJ it is about equity, justice and fairness |

konoplyanka: yes there is one America slogan by way of " one nation under God ". that's there own way of saying it. I believe Ghana have their own too.
Yoruba are pragmatic, that's why we stay in our land. its clear enough we don't want to have anything to do with you. how I wish you guys can stay in your land too. You will always have an excuse, by the way i don't leave the Niger Delta, our land flows with milk and honey and it is the envy of the other region... |
Politics › Re: Nigeria's Union Non-negotiable - Goodluck Jonathan (Throwback) by Blizzy9ja: 11:36am On Aug 23, 2017 |
PassingShot: The fact is most of us Yorubas will prefer to leave separately from Hausas and Igbos. However, we're very realistic and pragmatic. We're no jesters and comic actors. But if you are realistic and pragmatic enough like you have said, you will realise that the call for unity is alone in itself is an indication that something is fundamentally wrong with our togetherness... We don't hear One America, One Ghana. The truth is we are not one, the earlier you realise and accept this the better for you, I like to have a Yoruba or Hausa guy as a neighbour not a fellow citizen, I can manage the Igbo man, because at least we share a whole lot in common. |
Politics › Re: Nigeria's Union Non-negotiable - Goodluck Jonathan (Throwback) by Blizzy9ja: 6:49am On Aug 23, 2017 |
PassingShot: No president worth his salt will say the unity of the country he presides over is negotiable.
The world over, a group of people who wants to secede will go through either of two options:
1. Referendum: This is only applicable if there is provision for such in the constitution. Unfortunately for all of us, our constitution doesn't provide for it which means no president has that privilege to allow it else he'd be committing an impeachable offence. To take this route, the group wishing to secede MUST first work to get the constitution amended through the NASS. And if GEJ from SS region couldn't work for that amendment, it's foolish to expect a president from any other region to work for it.
2. Violence: This unfortunately is the only other option. We all know what comes with it are death, destruction, sorrow, hunger and many other humanitarian crisis. If you didn't witness the civil war of 1966, and you were too young to see what happened in Liberia, Somalia, Rwanda and many other African countries, you're surely seeing what is happening in Syria, Central African Republic, DRC and many others.
So, PMB is right to have said it unequivocally that Nigeria's unity is not negotiable just as those before him were right in saying so.
The earlier the Chief Idiot and Pig of Biafra (Terrorist Kanu) and his fellow idiots and pigs realized this and be guided, the better for all of us. PassingShot and Sarrki chief unity beggars |

majekdom2: you may have misunderstood me to think I am tribal. Point is, why have the ND allowed their leaders and chiefs cheat them without holding them accountable. When I was in the university, I was once approached by some people to come claim I am an indigene of their community, they would provide every document all I needed to do was pass the exams and then we share the proceeds.. 70 for them 30 percent for me. So, I asked why didn't choose a genuine local candidate...they said a local will not share the money with them. I just told them No and went my way yet, we will hear shell isn't getting them educated bla bla. The problem of ND is not caused by these companies if you check well. See Nigerians are naturally corrupt and it is really difficult to resist incentive from these IOCs especially if you know how to deceive the people and this has nothing to do with the region or group involved. |

majekdom2: this will always be what you hear that there is an agreement and then bribe.. what happened to attacking the person guilty of collecting bribe? Has the person and family been attacked the way they attack facilities? Many are only ignorant that shell cares more about their business. How easy is it to bribe a hausa or yoruba man against his own? I shouldn't be talking to a tribal bigot... What are you trying to prove? silly billie |
Politics › Re: Shell Official Says Niger Delta Is No Longer Attractive To Investors by Blizzy9ja: 11:05am On Aug 21, 2017 |
majekdom2: Na only shell dey complain, how about the other IOC's? Is it shell that is supposed to be attacked or the federal government? That's the difference between lagos and ND. Rather than attack the investor, attack the government. Will people not be forced it is th government that is fueling the attacks on these companies Most of the problems in the host communities are caused by shell (especially)... How do you have an agreement with the communities and den go from behind and bride a select few just in a bid the short-change the entire communities |

majekdom2: only a fool keeps doing same thing over and over without results. ND cities that once used to be like other sane cities. You see expatriates relate with Nigerians like they are Nigerians. There were loads of opportunities. My friend's dad was managing the accounts and finances of many of them. All of a sudden, kidnap business started. It became hard for an expat to schedule meetings with a normal Nigerian. Things started getting bad. Tho, you won't find many recreational centres, the atmosphere was lovely. What has violence done? Now, oil is loosing its' value. Companies are no longer investing as they ought to. The cities are dry. People are relocating to lagos everyday. What will they tell generations to come? I have been told there were days if you got to popular rumola junction in ph, you ll see a drilling rig. You could go there to learn about what they are doing... is it the same story now?? Shell left the people with no other option |
