mallamseifaldin: Bala Usman is speaking the truth.....The resources of Nigeria belong to everybody irrespective of were it is found. when ur broda's sell their cow, goat, tomatoe, yam, onion, water melon, carrot and other agricultural products that are grown in the north is the money paid into national coffers? Those are owned by the north abi? But the oil and gas in the Niger Delta belongs to Nigeria... Arrant nonsense |

SkyBlue1: No they can't, they are criminals and should be treated so. In truth Yar Adua created a monster. Pay you money for doing what exactly?? The federal government failed to address the issue of cleaning up on oil spills which made farming and fishing in many places impossiible, and youths and thugs who probably wouldn't have been farming anyway capitalised on this. The legitimate sufferers from oil and gas explorations are not the ones being paid here. Thugs hijacked the whole thing and held the government to ransome, and the sad part is, the insecurity has driven out many businesses from Port Harcourt and has damaged the economy, it is pretty much sabotage. u gotta be kidding me... U mean they should go back to farm and fishing while the proceeds from the oil and gas exploited from their area is used to feed lazy people from other other region?.... Abe u need to apply wisdom oh. |

I like the peace we enjoy right now in the Niger Delta... If this govt does not thread carefully dis might lead to another round of insurgency in the Niger Delta.
The federal govt sets a bad precedence and when others follow its now a crime

TonyeBarcanista: If you even read the full statement, Tompolo pledge support for the government in power, and called on Sylva and supporters of APC in Bayelsa to concede defeat and join hands with Dickson to move Bayelsa forward. He maintained that they are all Ijaws.
That is the average thinking of an Ijaw and Niger Deltan. We see election as a contest and not a war. We want development and not a theatre to brew hate. I recall during the Bayelsa election when some outsiders were abusing some Bayelsans that were supporting Sylva of APC, I rebuked them by saying that both men are Ijaws from Bayelsa and they need support of whoever gives them though I was backing Dickson.
I am happy that Tompolo has shown maturity though he has a case that he must answer sha. Tonye I have been following ur recent post on nairaland, ur fear of being bashed by the yorubas and other pro One Nigeria fraudsters has seriously affected ur sense of judgement... U seriously need help... I think you're very confused right now, u really need a break from nairaland |

Ehyaaaah - I have really missed General Sani Abacha.
A few cruise-missiles from our Frigates in conjunction with some air-2-surface missiles from the newly acquired JF-17Thunders should turn all these creeks into permanent football fields for the sea lions & dolphins when the time comes. You ended up displaying ur foolishness on nairaland.... I believe ur lazy governor is stilll waiting for money from the same Niger Delta, just be reminded that nobody has a monopoly of violence, and think abt wat will happen to the economy if the boys go back to the creek. |
