Olusola Fabiyi Former President Goodluck Jonathan has faulted the impression being created in the media that his administration would be probed by the committee set up by the House of Representatives to look into how the budget allocated to the State House Medical Centre since 2015 was spent . He said he had nothing to do with the 2015 Budget before he handed over power to President Muhammadu Buhari on May 29 of the same year. He therefore said there was no way his administration would be included in the expected probe of allocations to the clinic . Jonathan stated this in a statement signed by his Media Aide , Mr . Ikechukwu Eze, in Abuja on Saturday . The statement read , “The House of representatives resolved Thursday 12 October, 2015 , to probe 2015- 2017 allocations to Aso Rock Clinic and some media reports are needlessly dragging the name of former President Goodluck Jonathan into it. “We had thought that the media should be the first to remind Nigerians that since Jonathan left office on May 29 , 2015 , he had absolutely nothing to do with the implementation of the budget for that year . “For emphasis , the 2015 Appropriation Bill which was passed by the parliament in April was signed into law in May , 2015 . “And since the procurement process , based on the new procurement law , takes at least three months to complete , there was no way Jonathan would have had anything to do with the budget implementation for 2015, before vacating Aso Rock Villa on May 29 , 2015. ” Eze said going by the way some people make insinuations on issues that bordered on the development in country , it would appear as if Jonathan had been in office since independence and probably still ruling . “We expect media houses to always do proper investigations to avoid the convenient choice of always using Jonathan as the scapegoat for the misdeeds of others ,” he added .

Almost two months after he returned to the country from his medical trip to London , United Kingdom , President Muhammadu Buhari has yet to return to his office inside the Presidential Villa , Abuja . But the Presidency says the situation has not in any way hindered the President from performing his duties. Buhari , who arrived the country on August 19 to a wild jubilation by Nigerians after spending over 100 days abroad , has been operating from an office located inside his official residence and another one located inside the Presidential Banquet Hall . The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity , Garba Shehu , had said the President ’s office needed renovation because of its devastation by rodents during his long period of absence . “Following the three -month period of disuse , rodents have caused a lot of damage to the furniture and the air conditioning units ,” he had said , explaining that it was impossible for the President to operate from the office in that condition . Although he said he could not tell when the renovation would be completed , the presidential spokesperson had stated that the maintenance company had been asked to speed up its pace of work . However , 56 days after the President ’s return to the country , he has yet to resume in his office . His residence and the Presidential Banquet Hall , where he operates from are less than five minutes ’ walk from his office . The President has been hosting meetings and other events in the two venues . This week alone , he held separate meetings with some state governors and the nation ’ s security chiefs at the venues .

I am writing this article to open our intellectual about some uniforms we see everyday among some Nigeria workers. Its a hard fact for you to believe that those uniforms have been existing since the day of my great grandfather till now. Some of this uniforms have been upgraded a bit while others are still on the same spot . Interestingly, these uniforms are still hotcakes i.e, they still fit people who wear them. Here are the list NYSC uniform : The scheme was established in the year 1973 immediately after the civil war.The aim of the scheme was to foster unity among Nigerians. It's worthy to note that the uniform been used since 1967 hasn't go on exile yet. Till tomorrow, it's still the same design, style. It isn't outdated because graduates keep on putting it on every year and every aspiring graduate

Footballers are known for their different characters and wild lives on and off the pitch but there are some players who left the beautiful game to preach the gospel. While many retired footballers become coaches and businessmen or use their popularity to gain sponsorship, these players took the unconventional root of becoming clergymen. 1.
