Happy Sunday Mamas

Pls who else is dealing with low weight like me?
We are 9months + but still weighing 7.2kg.

All medical checks came out ok, doctors say it's her nature.

Who has been through this?
Any suggestions on what to use to help her add small flesh and look her age.

Food time is war time. I have tried everything. She only takes pap and adult food, which she will just eat few spoons and stop. Drink water and play the whole day.

If she takes pap well why not try to enrich the pap with fruits like banana, avocado and the likes or add nutritious grains to the pap e.g. the popular tom brown. Weldone mama.

See me still thinking of how to wean my crew cos one of them is yet to walk, maybe I'll just close eye and start weaning this weekend. My regards to oyin.

Biko who has any experience on these things on GBs head. My nephew had boils and I think GB caught it from him just as we were about leaving the village. I angrily cut her hair yesterday cuz she has massive boils on her scalp. For three weeks now, i finish fighting boil and new ones just come up. Now 2 days ago, a new batch came and took over her forehead. Village Doctor recommended ampiclox and it only succeeded i
n clearing some of the boils and didn't stop new ones from growing. Please who's had this experience before, I really need something that would just clear it once and for all and who knows if there are any pain relieve gels for kids the ones i can rub on the boils cuz the boils are painful.

Mupiderm ointment worked like magic for us after trying so many things when my son had a similar issue.

Hi, If he likes pap make it very rich. Put crayfish, put fish. Mash bananas inside. Mash avocado inside. Boil egg and mash inside...if possible sef, blend chicken inside. Buy AS mixagrain and nuttymeal. Try to make the pap a little thicker (swallow but very very soft), put ewedu/okro with blended titus give him to eat. Try oats as well

I want to send a mail to my HR to change my HMO plan from individual to family so my baby can be covered and i can consider having it done where he was delivered at no cost.

Do you have an idea of how much it costs at Royan? These private hospitals can be expensive.

No idea o cos I use HMO and presently use solid rock too but think your best bet is health center now, you can use Gbadamosi health center in ojodu the place OK.

I had same experience with my daughter last month,she stopped eating after treating malaria, she was surviving on breast,water and cheeseballs.I took her back to the hospital to complain, we did a Wbc on her again and she had malaria. since we finished treatment last week,she has been eating well and I noticed was bringing out a set of teeth
You can test them again for malaria, check for teeth.

Thanks so much I took them back Thursday morning we also did wbc which showed malaria for both of them and little infection for one of them so we are currently on treatment.
I'm even thinking if I wean them they will eat since my breast is suffering already.

I delivered my children at 37 weeks 2 days via CS cos of the positioning of the children, the leading twin was breach while the twin sis was lying transverse so when the doctor told me that I opted for CS that same day since they are fully baked cos its of no use waiting for labour when they are not lying Cephalic.
Just keep your mind opened to any option, you and your doc know your history better.

I have implanon too. But no Weight gain o. I skinny pass before sef. I am thinking of what I can use o make me put on weight even if Na small 5kg.

Presently we don't have touch lights in my house again because my children derive pleasure in breaking them,

kitchen is their favourite spot, we shout from morning till night so they don't eat dirty shoes,
they fight over every single item they are playing with including my purse, handbag and even empty drink can

You can go for Gerber foods with supported sitter written on it and cow, gate cereal from 4+ months and kendamil foods too from 4 months. You can also make pap very light too with age appropriate formulae to go with.

I don't know how to respond o cos after the first set I didn't buy again, they were just taking it like I'm forcing them, though they are not really foodies but nothing spectacular about it sha. I might try again when their eating habit improves.

My dd holds pap in her mouth and wouldn't swallow it and pours it out afterwards .Our feeding duration is 30-45 mins. Anything less is a Miracle.

I think its a phase that will pass with time, this time last month I was in your shoes with my children and what I do is leave them till they demand for food of which they don't most times but now there us improvement in their feeding, so please exercise a little patience.
