Group Holds Novelty Football Match To Bring Youths Together For Peaceful Election

A peace-centered and good governance non governmental organization, Peace Ambassador Agency Worldwide in Partnership With Amb Kingsley Amafibe Peace Foundation has organized of peace novelty football match aimed at drawing the support of young people in the need for peaceful election in Nigeria in 2023.

The organisers say it seeks to bring together business executives, religious and youth leaders, entertainers and people from various fields of human endeavour for a joint effort for societal change.

Speaking shortly after the match which took place at the weekend at Soho 24 Sports Center Kado Abuja, the founder Peace Ambassador Agency Worldwide, Amb. Kingsley Amafibe said there is need for synergy as professionals to put hands together to vote for a leader who has same vision with a vast majority of citizens.

"Everyone is agitating for a better Nigeria, we felt as an organisation that promotes peace, this is time to create awareness for peaceful election.

"Everyone gathered here today are industry players in their various fields, we have different organisations so we believe we can set up an effort that will change this nation.

"If we believe, we can do it, we need Leaders that will lead us to the right destination. The essence of what we are doing here is to think together and change the narratives."

They insist that free and fair process is a sure way for a peaceful election.

Four teams include, Peace Ambassador Agency, Seman Global Project, Prof Christopher Imumolen and Christ Mercy Showers Foundation slugged it out at the football competition.

The lead organizer, Amb. Amafibe also expressed appreciation to partners and sponsors for their participation.

Why My Foundation Is Concentrated On Helping Indigent Nigerian Children With Cardiac Diseases To Live — Ifeoma

A humanitarian campaigner and rising Nollywood actress Jay Sharon Ifeoma has explained what inspired her into launching a charity organization with a special focus on under-privileged children with various cardiac diseases, noting that she is committed to ensure they obtain life-saving surgeries within & outside Nigeria.

She said she has always been involved in charity activities and voluntary works far back as she was 15 in both the UK and Nigeria but it got amplified after the death of her son to heart related disease.

She told our correspondent in Abuja on Tuesday that after she lost her son, Prince Emmanuel Jay in 2019 to a congenial heart defect, which impeded his aortic valve from closing properly (VSD) which is Ventricular Septal Defect just after 3 months of his birth, she set up a foundation after his name Prince Emmanuel Jay Heart Foundation to immortalize him and save children from dying under similar circumstance.

According to Ifeoma, the young Prince Emmanuel Jay struggled battled for life with the aid of oxygen concentrator and mobile oxygen cylinder (P.O.C) after so much money was spent to make him live, but unfortunately the family lost him.

She said, "I battled with him while in the hospital all through his admission in the hospital for eight months but unfortunately, all efforts to fly him to India for a successful operation was not very smooth.

"I pushed further to reach out to most renowned and well established NGOs, relatives, friends, associates, colleagues, business partners, churches. I had every plan set down well to raise funds for his heart surgery operation, which was going smoothly.

"Unfortunately on the day of our discharged from national hospital forcefully, he gave up the ghost just at the point of my residence. The oxygen got exhausted on him.

"By the time I got back to the hospital, he was confirmed dead. My world was wholely shattered and that was how I came up with the idea and concept of setting up my foundation in his name and I haven't looked back since 2019 to help indigent Nigerian children with cardiac diseases to live"

To further keep this vow of taking care of children who suffer this ailments I resolved to join the 2022 Big Brother Reality show to make impact and put back the returns and benefits to the foundation but unfortunately I could not make it, though still open to other prospects to keep this dream and Vision alive

Youth Inclusion: NBYN Holds Conference, Inauguration In Abuja, Over 5000 Youths To Be In Attendance

As part of efforts to foster youth inclusion in governance, Nations Builders Youth Network(NBYN) has concluded plans to hold its 2022 conference where the leadership will also be inaugurated.

In a release on Saturday, the Convener and National Director of the group, Amb. Raymond Jefferson noted that the goal of the organisation is to change the face of Nigerian politics through education and awareness campaigns that promotes greater participation in politics among the general population and the youth in particular.

Scheduled to take place on June 25th 2022, at Merit House Maitama Abuja, the conference will also focus on efforts to support individuals with credibility, competence and capacity to run for elective offices.

Buses announcing the presidential ambition of Sen. Rochas Okorocha, Senator representing Imo West in the 2023 general election have been sighted in the streets of London.

The luxurious buses bore the inscription, "Rochas for 2023 Nigeria Presidency" boldly written on their body.

The Imo former Governor had on Monday, January 31 declared his intention to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari upon the expiration of the later's tenure in office.

The President & Founder Nigeria Goodwill Ambassodor Awards, African CEO Merit Award and African Leading Women Conference & Awards, Amb. Chris Odey has marked his birthday on Saturday, February 12, 2022 with an appeal to his friends and associates to channel their prayers and gifts to orphans.

He therefore fixed February 26 as a day to embark on orphanage mission, calling on his friends to join in the soul lifting exercise.

In a social media post, he wrote, "My birthday is Today the 12th of February... But I have decided to celebrate it on the 26th of February with the Orphans.

"Kindly join us... so please channel all the prayers and gifts meant for me to these orphans.come let's celebrate. Thank you. Dr. Chris Oko Odey."

Amb. Odey has set aside five undisclosed orphanage homes in Abuja the nation's capital for this visit.

With the theme, 'Orphaned But Not Forgotten' the visit is to feature distribution of relief materials such as food items, clothing materials, books, toys and cash donation.

While the take off time is 9am, friends and well wishers interested in joining this noble mission have been urged to converge at Dreams Garden in Wuse 2, Abuja.

Amb. Odey who exchanged marital vow with his heartthrob, Benny at a society wedding which took place at Sheraton Hotels Abuja assembled the high and mighty to the event.

The multi ward-winning entrepreneur, activist, humanitarian, SDG advocate, motivator, talent/PR manager, creative director and concept developer has litany of brands he effectively manages and keeps active.
