Sen. Sam Anyanwu Shines At Peace Achievers International Award, Bags Peace And Community Development Award

The National Secretary of the main opposition People's Democratic Party, PDP, Sen. Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu, has been recognised with the award of Peace and Community Development at the recently concluded Peace Achievers International Award in Abuja.

Sen. Anyanwu, popularly known as Sam Daddy represented Imo East at the upper legislative chamber at the 8th Senate.

The former National Assembly who was presented with the award in his office in Abuja by a delegation led by the CEO Peace Ambassadors Agency, Amb. Kingsley Amafibe expressed gratitude to the organisers for finding him worthy of the recognition.

He pledged to continue offering his modest efforts in ensuring the unity and peace of the Nigerian nation.

The CEO Peace Ambassadors Agency, Amb. Kingsley Amafibe in his comment noted that the recognition is designed for notable individuals who have been found worthy of promoting peaceful co-existence in the country.

He applauded Sen. Anyanwu for being a distinguished personality in promoting peace and community development.

The Peace Achievers International Award 2021 is 10th in the series.

Amb. Kingsley Amafibe is reputed to be a respected showbiz entrepreneur in Abuja.

Barr. Shola Gabriel Vows To Mobilise 10m Youths Into APC, Seeks Support As National Organising Secretary

As the national congress of the ruling APC draws nearer, a leading contender for the office of the National Organising Secretary, Barr. Shola Gabriel has assured that if elected, he will grow the membership strength of the party with about 10 million young people from across the country.

Barr. Gabriel, a legal practitioner says young people are enablers of change in all sector globally, especially with the support of elders, assuring that Nigeria will witness a new dawn in its political environment with his election as the National Organising Secretary of APC in the February national convention.

Addressing a mammoth crowd of supporters in Abuja on Wednesday, the Ekiti born young politician maintained that youths wield a humongous power in the quest for a more inclusive and egalitarian Nigeria, urging that they be given a voice in the country's polity through his election as the National Organising Secretary of APC come February.

Barr. Gabriel who says he has the administrative and experiential capacity to occupy the office urged members of the party to support his ambition.

"I am not only a candidate to beat, I am a Pan-Nigerian in its full regalia. I am from Ekiti State, my mother from Kebbi and I am married to a beautiful Imo lady.

"I am from every part of the country and I represent all Nigerians. As a youth, I am vibrant intellectually, I am vibrant physically, I will use my young energy to mobilise over 10 million youths into our great party to further solidify its strength.

"This is our time to test the Not-Too-Young-To-Run Bill graciously signed into law by the President. Together we can achieve that. Your support is needed in this refocused campaign for youth inclusion now than ever" he said.

The Barrister as Law has continued to garner support from committees and forums in the party who have encouraged him and expressed confidence in his capacity since declaration of his intention to run for the office of the National Organising Secretary of the APC.

With his antecedents, achievement, visionary mandates and development initiative for the party, he is believed to be a hard nut to crack in the contest.

Barr. Shola Gabriel has continued in his nationwide consultations to ensure that his supporters celebrate his victory in the forthcoming National convention.

Africa Multicultural World Foundation Feeds Over 100 Almajaris, Gives Education Materials In Abia

A non-governmental organisation, AFrica Multicultural World Foundation as part of its efforts to bring succour to the less privileged in the country has reached out to over 100 Almajaris in Kaduna State with food and clothings.

This is even as the Foundation touched the lives of Abia children with over 400 educational materials, ranging from customized books, pens and other writing materials to boost their participation in education.

While in Abia, the social workers led by Miss Nigeria America Nation 2021/22, Queen Olivia Martha also distributed food ,snacks and drinks to about 300 children.

According to AFrica Multicultural World Foundation, the outreach which was sponsored by Amb. Dr. Krystal Okeke . This event was held in St Norbert Catholic Church, Aba Abia State is in line with the realization of its mandate to put smile on the faces of less privileged children.

Queen Olivia Martha noted that children have been most affected in the country's growing poverty index which according to her has led to acute malnutrition among the children.

She said efforts have been concluded to expand the annual outreach programme to accommodate more beneficiaries from across all the geopolitical zones of the country.

While in Kaduna, the team led by Ibrahim Yusuf were warmly received by the Almajaris and their leaders. They expressed gratitude to the AFrica Multicultural World Foundation team for remembering them in their humanitarian outreach.

Earlier, a sister Foundation, America Nation Multicultural World Foundation had taken their humanitarian outreach to Las Vegas in the United States where about 100 destitute were reached with food and clothes for the winter and summer.

At Las Vegas underprivileged outreach, the team was led by Amb Dr Krystal Okeke’Chanchangi who pledged that the the group will continue in its modest efforts to live to its mandate globally, adding that more number of persons will benefit from the scheme in 2022.

Nollywood Actor, Amb. Chucks Chyke's Father, Mazi Okoroafor Laid To Rest In Abia Amidst Tears

The father of Amb. Chucks Chyke, a popular Nollywood actor and a Brand Ambassador of leading communications company Aitel Nigeria, Mazi Isaac Chukwunenye Okoroafor has been laid to rest amidst tears and weeping.

Mazi Okoroafor who passed on at the age of 75 was recently buried at his hometown, Okoko-Item, in Bende L.G.A, Abia State.

The son, Amb. Chyke in a tribute expressed sadness over his father's demise, describing him as exemplification of God's word.

The entertainer eulogized his father for moulding him to become a rock, light as well as decorating him with knowledge.

He said, "You have thought me, made me see life in the reality of it, you built me to become a rock, a light that the world needs not just want.

"You have thought me to stand for what is right, to be valuable and also value others no matter how small they appear. You made me see love in what I thought I hate. You were an example in everything you wanted me to understand...

"I stand successful and admired today because you decorated me with courage. Your errors you made me learn from. No matter what anyone thinks of you, I will forever be proud of who you where and what you lived for.

"You lived a life to remember; giving value to every moment that passed. You stood by me as an a example of God's word. In my most difficult times you appeared and cleared the air like "nothing mega".

"You thought me to honor impossible as possible and to stand against the worst distractions of man. It is hard to believe that anything could bring you down but...You will always be my MENTOR.

"It's still hard to believe that I won't see you and your rare heart of gold on earth again until we meet again in heaven. You showed us heaven on earth. I know you are there making sure that you avenge the mystery of your death and to defend us from the hands of those that try to stand against us.

"You will forever be remembered and honored on earth. If I am to be granted a wish now it won't be riches as everyone would want but to be in your arms again.

'With so much tears in my eyes and heart... I say again... I love and miss you my mentor, loving dad and father."
