I have been on bedrest o cuz at a time it was like if I dey waka, my jajaina will be dropping like I wanted to drop a huge something, went for scan and everytin was cool and cervix was closed but me no fit come and kee myself abeg, my bedrest na self induced sha. We are moving to the permanent site by d swt grace of God. Congratz to all who have birthed their Los, God's blessings on us all.

I was advised to terminate the pregnancy @ 20 weeks because of a major defect so i was induced and gave birth to the baby boy.
Though it would have been noticed as early as 13 weeks if i had gone for scan but since i was fine all through i decided not to do any scan until 18 weeks just to know the sex and that was when the major defect was discovered.

sorry ma for ur loss but if I may ask wat kind of defect was it?

Have u tried anything to stop the vomiting?
Talk to your doctor about vitamin b6, some say it works.
Try not to leave ur stomach empty, eat dry bland foods in bits.
Grab a cracker biscuit 1st tin upon waking.
See if your prenatal supplements cud be d culprit and change it.
Since you're almost in ur 2nd trimester, mild ginger and lemon brew may help.
May God give u strength and make it easier for you and everyone passing through similar conditions.
I hope ur friend doesn't take ur rant out of context and understands Ur situation.

Me don change prenatal supplement since dat plenty ones wey dey smell no gree me o.
Am now on Ferrolab12, folic acid and calcium once daily and it rocks!.

welcome ma and may your stay be short and fruitful. Aside the surgery, wat have you been taking to enhance conception and have your dh gone for a test too to rule out male factor?

I read that some women who are not properly taken care of during Omugwo, later start releasing fart or air through their vaginas. I think there is a way our mothers handle the place after childbirth.

Another reason for farting through vagina is after having sex through the rear. Sometimes, upon getting up or readjusting immediately, air sounds escape through the anus or does vagina follow. I don forget but I have experienced it a few times.

4 clomid; I took a very big risk ; cos l have a prehistory of bilateral ovarian cysts & using 100mg against 50mg is "sheer foolishness" ( ie wat desperation causes).

itz well. from reviews tamoxifen and latrozole has lesser side effects, u cld try any of those.

As for the clomid, have you been on clomid before and where you monitored to ensure you ovulated?
If you ovulated plz stick to the normal dosage. if not you can up your dosage 1tab morning and night. Goodluck ma.

That one is d miracle of God, I cant fit explain beside I never repeated scan to even know if the cyst disappeared or not, I jex dey manage myself. I no tell doctor during Antenatal after he heard 3heartbeats say I do bitterleaf and all dox okra n fufu stuff o, bcuz I myt appear too desperate for my age. I just kuku tell am say na Letrozole I take, I kept dosage to myself, dey no fit read mind na.

My dear I don't think it wise running personal tests first. TTC issue should be mutually handled.
Take for instance, she goes for test and something comes up. Next she will do is to start trying to fix it so dh wouldn't find out. As she's doing that, she creates a barrier btw both of them. But then, there are men who will notice a change in behaviour right in time and questions starts. Believe me, if he finds out the wrong way, then he may never believe you didn't deliberatly hide it before marriage and there comes more trouble. You can't even predict who you might see while going for the personal tests. You might think you've taken all precautions only to get there and see one of your dh's friend. Hmmm

Knowing that some of these ttc issues affect women whether you've done something in the past or not, it's better to go together as any Problem that arises will come with its own shock which will not show in you if you've already known before dh. Moreover, no doctor will ever mention that any issue would have been caused by sth done in the past. I've seen women who got married a virgin get blocked tubes. Read about same group with scared uterus or endo. So what is there to hide?

Why I even mentioned to tell dh after the rest of anything comes up is not because it should have solely been caused by the past whatever, but because then you'll get some rest of mind knowing you have nothing to hide.

Sometime ago, someone posted on IVF thread how she lived in the past and ended up finding out her tubes were blocked. She didn't involve dh due to her past. She tried everything should could using her personal money but the tubes remained closed. When she posted online, people suggested she should involve her husband. It took her time to convince herself. But when she finally did, only God knows how her tubes miraclously opened and she conceived naturally as the husband got involved. That's why I said her delay could even be a mind something. It happens. And when you that scared, you might even and up getting wrong results.

yea wen I was like 4months into ttc, I went for scan after d bfn cuz I was feeling very bloated like I was pregnantand they saw cyst o for the right ovary. I didnt repeat d scan sha, I took one Alliance product like dat I don forget d name before I started dat bitterleaf stuff.

@ orney don't mix M2-tone and tamoxifen or letrozole. I did that last cycle and when I was suppose to ovulate I didn't see EWCM. The tamoxifen works to lower estrogen production so that eggs will mature and M2-tone balances hormones. So you see they will be conflicting. Nevertheless you can try taking it from ovulation till BFP.

To all mama's taking tamoxifen and letrozole pls be careful because of hyperstimulation and also cysts. Why am avoiding letrozole is that I read of birth defects in some research, so watch your dosage since most of us are self medicating and also take folic acid alongside. It will all end in praise.

clomid gave me cyst and no bfp.

@miraclebaby, dont you think she can handle it more in a 1st personal test than if she goes with hubby and they kinda say something relating fault is from her. With personal test, if their is an issue, she can start up treatments immediately if no issue, she is a woman, she can then convince her hubby they run a test in a seperate hospital where she did the personal test.

Men can be so unpredictable o, so I wld say you shouldnt tell him yet nor involve him to run a test with you if you havent gone for a personal test yourself to know wat actually is the problem.
1: If no issues with you, quietly ignore d urge to tell him and take everything to God in prayers, asking him for pardon and forgiveness.
2: You are now free to go for the test with him to rule out male factor.
3: If the issue is from you from ur personal test o, try to know how to rectify it yourself immediately while still praying to God for pardon.
Thats all I can think of to tell you and know you that when we are in Christ, old things are past away. I wish u a short fruitful stay IJN.
