According to the constitution that the Supreme Court just trashed, the states and local governments were mandated to set up a joint account so that they could effectively overcome the challenge of paying the salaries of primary school teachers.

Please don't make your local issues a national concern. What business is it of Akwa Ibom if Ekiti doesn't pay teachers or vice versa. The state and local goverment should handle know how to manage or budget. If there's theft the ICPC and EFCC exist. The issue everyone seems to avoid is holding their local leaders accountable. They want the federal government to solve all their issues.

Ps: I know this document is ancient but I think it still relevant.

They gave it to themselves and nobody going to challenge the judicial rascals. We like this ruling and are too lazy to amend the constitution to whatever we really want it to say.

Funny enough to not the first time activist judges legislated from the bench. I want to read the majority and minority opinions. Ruling like this are always a fun read. How do they rationalize this ruling.

You clearly don't know what hypocrisy means. He campaigned on granting if elected then reneged. The people who supported him on that basis are condemning therefore can't be hypocrites because their actions don't contradict previous position. We must pass a law in the house of Assembly if an insurrection is not put down by the central government within 6 months, a vote of no confidence should be passed against that Government. It means that Government is incompetent.
