Politics / What Biafra Needs To Learn From Sudan by BlueBanana: 10:03pm On Jul 08, 2020
The Sudan Story
Sudan is in revolution. This comes after hundreds of thousands of lives were lost over secession by South Sudan from Sudan. Yet, with the violent separation, both sides of Sudan still remain in the hands of the class of a few rich people. A militia leader, Salvir Kiir continues to tyrannically rule South Sudan.

The new country which was created upon secession from Sudan in 2011 remains grossly undeveloped and ravaged by various political and social crises. It is ranked Second Most Corrupt African Country just after few years of gaining Independence. The country is currently stuck in perennial instability and economic standstill while the gap between the rich and the poor continues to alarmingly widen

.
Lesson For Biafra
This may eventually be the fate of Biafra if we do secede from Nigeria. Secession does not guarantee a working nation. Also, Biafra upon secession may be landlocked which may cripple the influx of economic activities which we envisage.

The Solution
The Biafra agitations in Nigeria also showes that a unified demand for regional government by the oppressed is mightier and more in the interest of the masses across all ethnic groups Agitations for Biafra led by Independent People of Biafra (IPOB) have been so bloody with over 300 casualties and yet less successful. There is a better chance of Nigeria Uniting and demanding for the Regional style of Government practiced in the 1st Republic , giving the working-class people across all regions and of every ethnic group more freedom politically and economically than with secession which caused the civil war that was greatly bloody and unsuccessful.

People who support the Biafran Separatist movements have a lot to learn from Sudan. Our agitations now should be to put in place
Regional Government
so each region can develop at their own pace and not secession.

Please, No Tribal Slurs!!!

Peace!

Chai, Nigeria is done and dusted. By the time Buhari is through without our economy it will be unrevivable.

My happiness is that all of us including those that chanted 4+4 are all going to buy from the same market.

I agree hold Governors as well as Local Government Chairmen accountable. We all have to be united in advocating for good governance. Every single country has left us behind and we are now competing with the likes of Somalia,Sudan,Chad and Yemen. We are one of the few countries in the world without 24 hour electricity.
Thanks.
It is most sad. Even war torn Libya is better than Nigeria. Nigeria has failed her people. I still have faith that Nigeria will be great again.

They have Nigerians living in abject poverty on playing a role in the divide and conquer strategy.
That's the greatest Weapon against any people, division. I have modified my original post
Politics / Re: Tribal Politics Is Used As Divide And Conquer Strategy By Politicians To Loot by BlueBanana: 12:08pm On Jul 05, 2020
Op, You're very right, our politicians get away with the numerous attrocities they commit in this country as a result of the division in our society. From religion to tribe to political parties to Geo Political Zones and even states of origin, Nigeria is divided. This gives them the backng they need to steal money knowing full well their tribesmen are going to defend them.
Our politicians are the only ones benefiting from this division.

Solution:
****Let every individual face his or her state governors squarely. Forget Buhari, put all pressure on our state governors to do better

***Demand/protest that Governors publicize how much allocation they receive from Federal government monthly

****We should ensure that every Naira our State governors receive is duly accounted for and we'll spent in lasting developmental projects

****We should snap pictures or record videos of structures in the states that need renovations and make sure their state governors do not rest until they fix those structures.
Hold Your Governors By Their Balls

A Nigerian company should simply move in for the kill.
That's one of the issues we face in this country. Ordinarily Nigerians should have taken over this broadcasting business but every rich person wants to go into oil and gas business leaving other industries in the country to foreigners to run.

This mentality is nauseating and should stop immediately. It's not everything that's made in Nigeria or said by Nigerians is fake or untrue. Jeez

vaccines you need.
Gumboro vaccine I priced it yesterday 200dose is 950
Lasota vaccine 100dose 350
vitamins and antibiotics 800
coccidiosis: cocci Care 300.

you keep for 8-12weeks

selling price 2k and above. I haven't confirmed yet.
I'm presently writing my business plan for 50 broiler some investors indicated interest.

but hope you belong to a poultry farming group on Facebook. they alsi help

Thank you immensely for your help and insight
However I don't see the profit in the business.

Cost of Day Olds(for 10)= N3800
Cost of Feed N3910*4= N15640
Cost of Medication = N2400
These expenses equal N21840
Whereas the Cost of Selling the broilers amount to only N20,000 which cannot cover the cost of expenses. Maybe you can explain to me how profit is made in the business
Anyway
I will appreciate it if you can tell me the Facebook groups so I can join. Thanks all the same

im happy by the fact you wish to start small.

Cost of production
#380 per broile. 10 = 3800
feed per Bag is 3910(Wholesale) you need about 4bags. though not too sure.
drinkers and feeders is 250 you just need one each. but you can substitute with your house plate.

you need time too and extra cash in case sickness comes.
I'm talking from experience, I lost 4 broilers due to negligence and lack of extra cash for drugs.
I presently have three cockerels. those ones strong , upon sickness only two die.

But guy do your market survrey and research before venturing.
im presently Writing my business plan to keep 50 broilers.
Wow, thanks for the insight bro. I really appreciate. Sorry for your lost birds though. Please can you give me an estimate on how much I should budget for regular vaccinations and drugs. Also, how long do you have to keep the birds before selling them and how much are they sold for?
