The apex bank described the fire outbreak as a minor incident.

“Minor fire outbreak at the Jos branch of the Central bank of Nigeria, promptly contained today, April 21, 2020,” the tweet read.

This is the fifth fire outbreak in six months at key Federal Government offices.A part of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Plateau State branch was on Tuesday razed by fire.

CBN confirmed the incident in a post on its verified Twitter page.
