some inverters like prag, have the battery DOD setting, so you can automatically choose/set the one you want. there. there should be devices you could hook up to your battery bank to serve the same function, however, i hvnt seen such...nor am i really interested. as i have solar and my load is sized apprioprately. also personally i believe letting the battery go very low once or twice yearly is even good for the battery

I have 3 new batteries connected to my inverter and i read that gel/agm battery should not be less than 50% when using. How can i prevent the battery going below that, assuming am already sleeping. Do you guys have any device to shut the inverter automatically when it get to 50%?
