Do not force anything on yourself with good diet & positive mindset, you will notice a transformation. l had a classmate in high school who was very skinny & he was nicknamed "skin bogo" & years later his photos on facebook is a shock to many of us! |
l just smile whenever people mock at our devotions to the Saints but they are very comfortable with relying on their Pastors prayers. |
woky: viewing Bluerange10.35p.m here, still up doing my assignments. |
l believe St. Jude Novena program is going on at St. Dominic's Yaba, is ltalo around to give updates? l can't forget what a Sr. who never knew l have a strong devotion to St. Jude told me in 2008, that in her dream St. Jude told her to greet me. |
We pray along with him through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. |

Just read some Prophecies posted by Godprophet some of which are: A famous Nairalander shall die 2014, The rate of unemployment shall increase in Nigeria in 2014, There shall be scandal in the Nigeria Police Force in 2014. |
There shall be scandal in the Nigeria Police Force. Hmmm... has it ever been scandal FREE? |
Happy New Year to everyone. May we all feel the beatific sense of the truth which the Church offers to the world and May the Grace of the Sacraments strengthen us to counter falsehood as we journey back to God. With love from kenya. |
As l stand at the rooftop watching the City of Nairobi welcome the new year, hoping for a better life in a better kenya, l pray Nigeria and Nigerians will someday heave a sigh of relief from the burden of the poverty of the mind that has plagued us. |
@OP, am a Catholic and l wish you well on your quest as l run my race exploring the earth with Heaven on my mind. |
Kenya changed her immigration few weeks back, if they write 2weeks on your passport at the Visa counter here in Nairobi, you MUST leave kenya at the end of that 2wks as against the old system of extending your stay for extra 10wks for just N4K |
some youths around here are already setting things up for their revelry tonight as it already 5.25p.m, young ones have so much freedom in Kenya as it is easy to find a 19 year old living on his/her own, with just N15k, you have your own house key! |
Kenyans don't know Palm oil nor much into pepper but they love our dishes. ln June some Sisters moved into a new place and invited a Priest (Kenyan) to come bless the place, he weot back to his Parish with a cooler of egusi soup & wraps of semolina |
@ woky, l really enjoyed it as it was a huge relief from the no pepper meals the kenya sisters were having and eating cooked cabbage as kenyans do, no fit me but the Kenyan Sisters were very good hosts though they always yab me over nollywood. |
And it also earned me a plate of bitterleaf soup and semolina at the Nigerian Sisters convent. |
woky: it wont be dat easy oo if she is my type dat shys alot..though impromptu but was ok and after Mass some of the Nigerian Srs. who stayed near the convent l was staying joked my father didn't waste money on my schooling! |
The congregation size was about 2000, well l had to do that in English as l had no knowledge of swahili and after noting the beauty of inculturization as you need to see the liturgical dancers during mass and thanking the community for hosting me. |
Laughing as l recall an incident Christmas 2013 , l was visiting some Rev.Srs. in Kenya, we attended Mass together at the Parish adjacent to the Convent, the Priest announced my presence and invited me to the altar to come and greet the CHRISTAINS! |
@Maria-Gorreti, thank you very much. |
The year had been a mix but l personally have every reason to be grateful to God as He has shown me in several ways that He is the Master of the vineyard as l had encountered people and situations that has deepened my vocation and l am loving it. |
lt has been a beautiful year for me after everything So l will say, Thank you Jesus. |
Everyone is now writing. |
