Those that are receiving the loots are killing us further.
They receive it and re-loot it again.

Agboriotejoye:
Now you're claiming what Obi never claimed. Obi has not come out to say he has the solution.
For example, today, he said Nigeria got 1.9 trillion income between January and April and had over 4 trillion expenditure. He never gave a solution for that.
For security, it is obvious our security system needs overhaul. That is not a solution itself. That's rather a problem because as you pointed out, overhauling our security architecture demands an amendment of our constitution.
If Obi wins, he stands the risk of becoming the first democratically elected president to have a legislature that's not led by his party. How then does he intend to overhaul the Constitution and by extension the security architecture?
So you can see that he hasn't provided a solution, neither can waiting to get to the bridge be a solution. Buhari has taught us to not just follow leaders blindly, but those who have roadmap to work with.
How many of Peter Obi’s interviews have you listened to??
Go and find the recent NEWS-CENTRAL interview and listen to it.
As for roadmaps...
We still have five full months to decide who has the best of roadmaps.

ANAMBRA GOVERNMENT INAUGURATES CIVIL SERVICE ANTI-CORRUPTION COMMITTEE

The Anambra State Government in collaboration with the European Union Rule of Law and Anti Corruption (EU ROLAC) has inaugurated members of the Anti Corruption Committee with members drawn from different Ministries in the State Civil Service.

Inaugurating the 84 members at the Office of the Head of Service (HOS), the HOS, Barr. Theodora Okwy Igwegbe urged the Committee members to live up to expectations as the fight against corruption must be won.

She reminded the members that each of them, as strategically chosen, was to ensure that corrupt practices were totally eradicated from the Civil Service.

The Civil Service boss who is also the Chairman of the Steering Committee of Anti Corruption Committee noted that it behoves on members to ensure that corruption is sniffed out and reported so that necessary punitive measures could be taken against the perpetrators.

She, then, assured EU ROLAC that the programme would be sustained in the state knowing that the state government has zero tolerance for corrupt practices.

Speaking during the inauguration, the State Coordinator of EU ROLAC, Mrs. Josephine Onah outlined the roles of the group which included working towards the eradication of indiscipline and corrupt practices within the service.

Onah noted that with a drastic reduction in corruption, our state would become a first choice investment destination and a one stop shop for investors.

She admonished them to eschew any form of compromise and encouraged them to always follow organisational framework, reporting issues first to the ANSACS Secretariat which would review and then move the case on to the Steering Committee for commensurate disciplinary action.

Mrs. Onah also noted that periodic checks by the Monitoring and Evaluation Committee were made up of State Actors and Civil Society Organizations.

Earlier in their remarks, the Head of ANSACS Secretariat, Barr. Tessy Obuekwe and a member of the ANSAC Secretariat, Barr. Lilian Oguji described corruption as not doing things the right way; they enlightened the Committee Members on their roles.

They, then, charged members of the Anti-Corruption Committee to eschew any form of corrupt practices as they take the lead in the fight against corruption in the State Civil Service.

Also present at the inauguration were the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice and the Solicitor General of Anambra State, Barr. Ngozi Iwuno, Heads of Departments and Heads of Units from various Ministries and Agencies.

Politics › Re: Knowing The Problems First Vs Knowing The Solution First, Which Is Better? by BluntCrazeMan(op): 7:00pm On Aug 22, 2022
Agboriotejoye:
What exactly do you mean by "low moral values"? Is that not definition of corruption? You see, you're just going round in circles. Nepotism is corruption.
None adherence to rule of law is corruption
Low moral values is corruption.
Whatever solutions you're seeking to apply is a solution to battle corruption.

Your analogy of the doctor leaves out the fact that the doctor already has the solutions. If he did not, knowing the problem will not solve it.
For example AIDS has been known till 1980s. Yet, doctors don't have a cure.
On the other hand, malaria drugs have been available since 19th century. Yet the doctor asks you to take a malaria test.
What I'm pointing out is that the solution for malaria is already known, so the doctor asks for a test to know what the problem is. The time he spends to know the problem does not mean the solution is easily found.
Covid was identified as a problem in a matter of months. Yet the solution is still not clear till today.
You're now coming to the point.
Peter Obi has the Solution.
But he is letting us know that what we think are the problems, are not really the actual problems.
And that he knows what the problems are, being that he had passionately looked into the situation.
..
A doctor knows the solutions,, but he must diagnose properly, in order not to give the wrong medications.
..
Trust Peter...
Whenever you listen to him,, he gives solutions.
He doesn't give the full details, so that his ideas won't be stolen.
But he gives the overview of the direction in which his solutions are going to follow.
..
Like Security, he said that the current security system needs an overhaul. (Not even state police.. but a total overhauling.. But he cannot do that without overhauling the Constitution.. then, he said that when we get to that river, we know how to cross the river, but anything that is necessary to get the system working, which might mean an overhaul of the current system which allows for serious Corruption, then he would do that).

Agboriotejoye:
The root causes of corruption in Nigeria is nepotism and lack of adherence to the rule of law
People steal because they get in a position they don't merit and thus the next thing is to start thinking of what to benefit from the position
When they steal enough, they become big men who are too big for the arm of the law to reach
In my own experience, it is easier to find the problem than to get a true working solution.
For example, when Obi says Nigeria earned 1.3 trillion and spent 4 trillion, even a primary 3 pupil can see a problem in that of a shortfall of 2.7trillion.
The question is, what is the solution?
About it being easy to find a problem than Solution,, have you ever gone to see a doctor?
Why do doctors waste time in asking questions about all the possible symptoms, and even ask you questions that you think are not related to the problem,, and even ask you to do tests upon after you might have reported all the symptoms??
And the Solution seems very easy and effective...
Have you imagined what happens when you took the wrong strong medicine for another strong ailment, just because the symptoms are similar to another strong ailment??
..
.
About Nepotism, and adherence to the Rule of Law, and getting into positions not merited,, I guess you know that something causes all those...
Yess.
Lack of patriotism causes all those, and more.
And Something causes lack of patriotism in people.,,
And that is,, “Low moral values”.
And how can that be fixed.??
(When campaign starts, we deal with that)
..
..
About the 2.7trillion shortfall stuffs,, that one na symptoms naa,, And not the problem

You are only being rhetorical. Every one knows the peculiarities of Nigeria. We know the causes of poor Education, out of school children, insecurity etc. These causes have been at the front burner for a long period of time. It's time we provided solutions. We're done talking problems & root causes.
Problems Known are already Half-Solved.
..
..
But that is,, if you really knew the problem.
If not, you might be creating another problem if you went off in the wrong direction, solving the wrong problems with the wrong methods

Nigeria has never been short of plans or solutions. Even if there are no solutions to a particular problem, you can copy from other countries.

However, what is lacking in Nigeria is courage, determination and political will to implement solutions/plans.

Take security for instance, who does not know that state police will help improve security? So why hasn't it been done?

Who does not know that creation of job opportunities will reduce youth restiveness and insecurity? So why hasn't it been done?

Who does not know that cutting cost of running govt will free up huge resources that can be deployed for more human and infrastructural developments? So why hasn't this been done?

Who does not know that giving security agencies full licence to eliminate every bandit, armed Fulani herdsmen, unknown gun men, armed ESN, kidnapper, Boko Haram, Iswap, armed robber, cultists, etc will drastically reduce insecurity? So why is this not being done?

And so on and so forth..
The security problem in Nigeria is deeper than State Police..
What would you say about the reason why police and other security men collude and cooperate with these same criminals and bandits??
What causes such leaking of information and intelligence and logistics and weapons to them?? Do you Know?
The problem is deeper than State Police.
..
As for the job creation..
Sheey na the type of N-POWER stuffs??
..
We have a long way to go in Nigeria.
Nigeria is ready to be cultivated..
But people are there waiting for harvest.

How can we harvest without cultivating?

Everybody knows corruption is a major problem, the next actionable plan is how to plug the loopholes.
This election is solution-focused. No media interview would major on problems or it root cause, we have identified all that since 1999. No candidate should keep pointing at problems anylonger, it's time for practical solutions.
Corruption is an after-effect..
Something causes Corruption.
...
You don't know that.
So,, which loopholes Exactly are you plugging??
(Since you don't know how the holes got there in the first place..)
..
..
Don't tell me that our leaders are so full,, that we discovered our problems since 1999 and never found solutions up till now?

The problem with Nigeria is that we really don't know our exact problems..

We usually rush to copy solutions from other countries,, but we never checked if their problems are similar to ours.

Giving solution is better than repeating the problems. Almost everyone can identify the problems of Nigeria but when you hear the solutions people give out, then you would be able to know the literates and illiterates.
What you're identifying are the resultant effects...
Not the problems themselves..
And not even the root causes of such problems.
