ALTERNATEID: UK is a parliamentary democracy. There is no national collation. Elections are conducted at constituency level and result declared. What they declare at national level is the number of seats won by each political party and not a collation of national result.
In a presidential system like Nigeria, all results must be counted and collated into one. This is a process that start from polling unit to ward level to local government collation to state collation and finally, national collation. You can’t achieve that in 24 hours.
If we are to count only parliamentary seats, we can also determine the party with majority of seats in the National Assembly in 24 hours because almost all the seats were declared the following day. So, stop contributing apples with oranges.
Ok then.
But please I need you to respond to these in very simple terms.. 1. Did the UK Electoral System apply “manual transfer of results” and “manual collation/tallying” of the results.??
YESS.? OR NO.? ((Don't Explain Too Much about this one.. Just drop a “YES”, or a “NO”))
2. Did the Polling-Station results pass through some lower-level collation points before getting to the final collation point.??
YESS.?? OR NO.?? ((Don't Explain too Much about this one too.. Just drop a “YES”, or a “NO”))
...... Back to the Nigerian situation..
I didn't mention the presidential election.. So, I don't know why you have to mention it on my behalf..
Now, tell me.. The Parliamentary seats are very much similar to the House-of-Reps seat in Nigeria, if I'm correct.. Right.??
Then,, it means that the declaration of the House-of-Reps elections still wastes time in Nigeria,, compared to what we just saw in the UK..
“EXIT OF POLLS” WAS BY 10:00PM.. AND IMMEDIATELY THE TIME FOR “EXIT OF POLLS” REACHED,, ALL THE RESULTS WERE DISPLAYED..
Now,, had there ever been any House-of-Reps election for any constituency in Nigeria which was done and concluded before 10:00pm.??
NO MATTER HOW YOU WANT TO SEE IT,, NO MATTER WHAT EXCUSES YOU MIGHT WANT TO COME UP WITH,, THE NIGERIAN ELECTORAL SYSTEM NEED TO EVOLVE,, AND IT MUST HAVE TO EVOLVE..
Mindlog: E sure me die say the attached picture na Thorpland primary school for Northampton..I went for a work related visitation there yesterday, as I snapped similar picture of the same gate from a different angle!😅😅😅
You can share the photo if you please..
Meanwhile.. We are very much aware that the voting method which was used in the UK Elections was MANUAL PAPER BALLOT Method..
But please,, what method was used for the transferring and delivery of the various Polling-Station Results,, and what method of collation/tallying was used.??
Meaning that nobody should ask the repented Boko Haram people anything about their past, or about the remaining members inside the bush.. They should just be accepted and trained. And that's it.
Such enormous vulnerability from the government.!!
SO,, THIS IS HOW MUCH THE NIGERIAN SYSTEM CAN TRUST.??
HarunaWest: Even if INEC wants a proper election, will the voters or people agree.
Yes my brother.. The voters and the people will agree.. The people are no more voting again in our elections because it is not proper. They don't deliberately want to abscond. But because our elections are not truly proper.
We keep blaming our leaders, whereas the followers are worse. Will a big man come down and rig election? They use people followers to do their dirty work.
That is why we all want proper elections where both the Big-man who sent his followers to rig for him, and those persons he sent, are all exposed and severely sanctioned.
We need a proper reorientation as people. The government cant do it alone. We implement too many laws in this part of the world without enforcement. That's where our first problem lies.
Ok then. We hope and pray that the reorientation come through and come quick too.
Dpharisee: Stop mentioning Nigeria when talking about serious issues, you can ask how Somalia conducted elections
I understand how you feel.. But Nigeria is all I have for now. And I need it to start working. I need it to be proudly mentioned when good countries are being mentioned.
With the speed the results of the UK-Elections were announced, I couldn't stop asking these questions below: 👇🏼 👇🏼
1. HOW were the various Results at the Polling-Stations “DELIVERED” or “TRANSFERED” so quickly from the POLLING-STATIONS to the “VARIOUS DESTINATIONS” where they were Collated and Tallied.??
2. HOW exactly were the various Polling-Station Results COLLATED AND TALLIED So Quickly,, (Which made the Final Results available so fast).??
Whatever they did,, and However they did it,, our Nigerian INEC need to understudy it. And start using such methods and systems in our Nigerian Elections.

AbokiWam: My Salary is a little above #100, 000 naira, My friends know I am working which brings enormous pressure on me, They think it is a high paying job because of the Corporate dressing and all.
I don't Know if it is the hardship from this era, but now 4 out of every phone calls someone receives is usually them asking you to lend them money. Currently self I am skeptical of answering phone calls. Work Colleagues also do not spare you in this regard.
My problem now is I am too soft hearted, Any small story and I am already heading to my bank app to do transfer for,
Beginning of June, money I lent to a total number of 7 different people was running into almost 60,000 naira. At the start of July, Only two people have paid me back (5000 & 4000)
Because of that I promised myself not to lend anyone money again from my salary, but Just this morning I got a call from someone I know , he was crying to me of his salary being delayed at work. He pleaded with me to lend him #10,000 which I obliged, Knowing fully well I wont get my money back (He has borrowed 8k from me before without paying back)
I think something is wrong with me, I can even go to loan app to borrow and gift a friend if I don't Have
Same borrowing habit almost ruined my Dad, it destroyed his friendship with a close pal, he borrowed his friend #800,000 back IN 2011 when money still had value, the friend refused paying and that crumbled his business for a while.
My Mom have warned me if I continue, I might experience same.
I really need to change... If every one should pay me money they have owed me, I would be able to buy honda baby boy This is a bad habit I need to stop.
They have seen your weakness,, and they are exploiting it very well.
It's only you that can stop it.
That is,, when you decide to stop being a good man.
Orch1981: Because you know say your Nigeria na useless country with no law
That should be the problem of NIGERIA..
Not mine as an individual.
I have already known and concluded that whenever I have any issue that concerns the Nigerian Police or any Nigerian Court,, then I have only God and Fate to help me out,, and not the Nigerian System, because Nigeria has no stable system.
The fact that she couldn't move on is what baffles me here.
That their culture wouldn't let her have sex before marriage,, does the same culture prohibit her from falling in love with a second person after her love for the first person couldn't work out as initially planned.??
Negroid001: Was relaxing on my verandah sometime last week and i witnessed something that had me thinking up till this moment.
For over 2 days a particular pigeon had been visiting my compound and i dismissed it in my subconscious as nothing peculiar. This particular morning though, the pigeon swooped in again, hopped here and there and in one crazy frenzy picked up a piece of discarded rubber material and took off. My eyes followed it and surprisingly it's destination wasn't far, it flew to a piece of erected metal beam opposite my house, curiosity got the better of me and i stood up and observed. Behold, it had been picking up twigs and sorts for it's partner. The partner was building a nest, and when it arrived she collected the piece of rubber material from the male, tried fitting it in the nest and threw it away when it didn't fit. The male flew took off immediately to get another twig. I somehow forgot about the incident not until this morning i can see both lovebirds cuddled up in a complete nest.
Bam! It hit. Epiphany or whatever you call it. Men are naturally built to be providers and women are home makers.
Don't know what's wrong with this generation and the hype about being woke with women shi. Sounds like a homosexual propaganda to me. I love women, smart ones, beautiful ones, every one...
It's my duty to provide for the woman i love with what i have at my disposal and it's her responsibility to support me. Together we shall make our abode a Haven. Simple...
Any other thing? Na una sabi. I'm not weak, neither am i lazy. I only go women that have interest in me. I don't simp.
But say i no go provide, that one na lie.
I would love you to find a cock or a hen,, watch it closely -- (just the way you watched the pigeon) -- and then, try to learn similar things from its relationships too..
Then come back and tell us the things you learnt from the relationship-story of chickens..
..
Pigeons are pigeons. Chickens are chickens. HUMANS ARE HUMANS..
They successfully displaced the real travellers by seating on the seats that were meant for the travellers..
Unless they paid for a special hall (which wasn't what I'm seeing here in the photos).. But No.. They actually did their stuff right there inside the Terminal.. And Achimugu and his men didn't do anything..
