It seems you are misinforming the guy...
My own Voters-Card Number has 19 characters.
The first Five characters contain both Digits and Alphabets,, then, the last 14 numbers are only digits.

With this as an example, why would you be telling him (or maybe ME in this example I gave above) that the digits are only 11 in number??
If you wanted to tell him to count out 11 digits from the right, then it is understandable.
Then he can count out 11 digits from the right.
..
And by the way,, I want to know exactly what you mean by NIN Platform.. Please drop the link to the NIN Platform here, so that we can all check our VIN 11 digits too..

This thread is very similar to your issue of double NIN numbers.
A case where multiple NIN numbers genuinely belongs to you as a result of some unforeseen errors which are not entirely as a result of your making.

In that case,, there is every possibility that the two NIN numbers belong to you.
That is, if you had being doing some other registrations with the MTN Number.

You don't even know exactly what you are looking for sef.
You have the NIN slip with you, and you don't even know. And you didn't even check it all these while in order to collect your NIN from it.
Yet you want to get a magical response when you dial *346# on your recently bought phone numbers??

Go back to your bank and politely explain to the receptionist that you would want to check if your BVN has NIN generated with it.
Remember to tell them that you lost your original line, and you couldn't retrieve it again.

You can do that.. If your BVN has a NIN attached to it, they will give it to you.
Was there anytime in the past when you lost your original phone-number?

Go to any of their so-listed Registration Centres and do your registration.
It must not be at their office.

NIN is the foundational ID in Nigeria and its going/already to be a base for all other ID.. To access the service of any other ID, you will need NIN, take for example international passport.. If you go for your international passport, nin will be required cos the data of nin will just be lifted to do your passport and same for all other IDs and to change anything on your ID, you will av to visit nimc first for correction and only then can any other correction be done anywhere else.. Trust by next year or the next you won't even be able to leave the country without NIN as world Bank, EU, interpol are deeply invested in NIN..

It's going to be a gradual and fast thing cos very soon you won't even be able to enrol in a school, visit govt hospital for a start, access govt services without it

The line u supposedly dial belong to someone and the person did register for NIMC..
since u purchased the line and have been using it. every info on the line register for NIMC belongs to the original owner. now this is where our govt lack foresight. some lines were register for NIMC n maybe the owners are dead or sim stolen but the sims and the owners didn't retrieve the sims and they were sold to another person after few months. The nin on the line still belongs to the original owner..
so u can see where there ill be issues.. a whole lot of issues..

Let us just trust that our Nigerian Leaders will fix all these issues.

It was harmonized. When I went for my NIN (not recently) I was asked if I have BVN. When I provided it, they checked and told me I have NIN already. They just asked me to confirm the info they already have. They still gave me a form but have filled the NIN before they gave meyo fill and submit again

I did my NIN last year just because I wanted to renew my passport because that was the requirements now for renewal.

I registered with my glo number with my bvn(they requested for it).

Fast forward, i dialed *346# on both sim cards to confirm, I got the known NIN for my glo sim which was also the same NIN that was written on my international passport. The MTN sim gives me something else(different NIN)

I was shocked and confused, so i just ignored the one attached to my MTN sim

Did you buy the MTN line recently?
(So as to know if it is possibly a case of number recycling)
