He said that: “The information is incorrect.” Then he want ahead to divert from the simple question, and said that: “We have linked our data with BVN. People need to come to our office to register. If you have not registered with NIMC, go to our centres and register.” Now, why would someone register for NIN again, if the main aim for the NIMC registration is the NIN Number?? Was he trying to say that the already-assigned BVN-Generated NIN was an error? Or that there was not supposed to be any BVN-Generated NIN in the first place? If there is anything they are hiding from us, let them open it up.. If they need us to update the information on our supposed BVN-Generated Error-NIN, let them tell us. .. As for me, I'm not going anywhere. If there is no way to access the information on the NIN number online, and then regularise/update the information online, then they should keep whatever they have there as My NIN to themselves. .. And for Adegoke to come out to contradict himself in the final paragraph line-to-line,, he is the one to be called the fool (and then, including you and everyone that swallowed his shabby replies hook-line-and-sinker).. Just read this senseless reply: “Truly, we have harmonised our data with some BVN data....” (so tell me, how can someone know the some which he was referring to? And why did he deny at first?) “...But it is an incomplete process until you register with NIMC....” (so tell me, if the registration in the first place was for the NIN, and I already have a NIN to myself now, courtesy of the BVN/NIMC-error, why registering for NIN again?). “...If you don’t register with NIMC, efforts to generate your NIN will show record not found....” (but as you can see, that was a blatant lie. I myself, I didn't register with the NIMC, and I made an effort to generate my NIN, and I had a NIN retrieved for me.) .... This Government Continued To Lie Shamelessly To The Citizens.. .. I have never in my life registered for this NIN stuff. I mean, I haven't done the NIN registration at any point in time before. But I was surprised to get a NIN number when I dailed *346#. .. How do I verify directly from the NIMC, that the NIN number I got is mine? .. Note: I wouldn't want to verify the NIN number from any third-party website....
