FROM MY INBOX.

Good morning.
Please post for me and hide my id.

I got married since 2019, and by the grace of God, my family is been blessed with a handsome baby boy, who's about 1-and-half years now, I also live with my wife's nephew, a boy of 9 years now.

For the past 2 years I haven't enjoyed the marriage, even though I do my best to make it work. I give my wife 50k every month for food items only. Light bill, loma bill, security bill, filling of our 6 kg cylinder is not included in that 50k, I take care of all those ones whenever it's due to pay for them. I also buy bags of rice once it finished, it's also not included in the 50k

The issue here is that before 18th of every month she will start demanding for extra money, I pleaded with her to manage it because I just started business last year January 2021, and the business have not gain a strong stand, and I take out 50k there to feed the family monthly.

She also working - a good work for that matter, and I give her 1k everyday for transport.

This morning been Sunday 20th March, she demanded for another money, then I asked her what happened to the 50k I gave her on the 1st of this month, she started saying a whole lot of rubbish with her mouth, that I should go to the market myself and see how costly things are. That any time I transfer that 50k to her account, that she will transfer it back to my account.

I called her “my sweet wife, why can't you be appreciative to God that your husband gives you 50k every month? That there are other women out there suffering for what she and the children will eat, hawking under the hot sun everyday”.

Sorry for the long epistle.
Please advise me, In which area have I offended my wife, which made her to treat my little earning that way?

Today I am a high-blood-pressure patient. Taking drugs every morning and night. Please advice me, what will I do again to keep my family going.

NATIONAL POPULATION COMMISSION

PRESS RELEASE

PRESIDENT BUHARI LAUNCHES REVISED NATIONAL POPULATION POLICY AND INAUGURATES NATIONAL COUNCIL ON POPULATION MANAGEMENT

His Excellency, President Muhammad Buhari, GCFR will officially launch the Revised National Policy on Population for Sustainable Development (NPP) and inaugurate the National Council on Population Management (NCPM) on Thursday, 3rd February, 2022 at the Council Chamber of the State House.

The Revised National Policy on Population for Sustainable Development (NPP), which was approved by the Federal Executive Council (FEC) on 9th June 2021, is a comprehensive document that addresses all population and development concerns with an overarching goal to improve the quality of life and standard of living of the people of Nigeria.

The main thrust of the policy is to reduce the population growth rate and accelerate demographic transition for the realization of the Demographic dividend. It is a strategic tool guiding the implementation of national development plans.

The implementation of the policy is premised on an institutional framework that is clearly defined in the policy with the NCPM as the apex organ. The Council is chaired by the President with the Vice President as the Deputy Chairman. Heads of relevant government Ministries, Agencies and Departments (MDAs) will serve as members of the Council.

The National Population Commission is the coordinating agency of the National Population Policy charged with the responsibility of ensuring collaboration and synergy across sectoral lines and monitoring the implementation of the population policy.

Principal Officers of the National Assembly, Ministers and Heads of MDAs, prominent Traditional Rulers, Ambassadors, Captains of Industries and Representatives of development agencies are expected to grace the event.

Now I have my own personal questions....

1. What exactly is inside this newly revised policy which they are hiding away from the public since 9th June 2021??

2. And why is it that the implementation of this newly revised policy would reduce the population growth rate?

3. Thirdly, I hope that the implementation of this policy would not affect the rights of the citizens, and that it would not break any existing laws??
..
The National Assembly should look into this new policy

They are not working to solve the issues together.

Let's help this dude.

I work from 8am to 4pm.
I get paid N50k at my work place.
I do make little money from office too, but it is very little compared to my main monthly pay.
I have three kids, two girls 10 & 7, and a boy 3.
I made sure I give her N40k every month for the house upkeep and feeding, so that I can use the remaining N10k and any other thing I make above it to pay the bills which include electric power, gas, tv, and to save up for the house-rent..
..
On the other hand, my wife is a full time business woman.
She leaves house by 8am and gets back by 9pm some times.
(The kids and the house-maid are the ones who see to the cooking and buying of the things we need in the house)
My wife definitely makes far more money than me every month.
She doesn't tell me the amount she makes, but I know, because when she tells me about her daily sales I marvel and rejoice with her at the amount of sales she is making.
One time, I tried to put the margins of her sales and her expenses together for one month, and I discovered that she makes a gain of up to N150k in her business every month.
I don't know what she does with it anyway.
..
Now, with almost all may salary already in her hands, and with her own profits too, she still wants me to pay for making the hair for the kids (the girls), and she wants them to be making their hair once in two weeks or maximum three weeks, and I didn't agree to that. She should be the one who takes care of that, if not, they should go on low-cut haircut styles for the moment.
I take care of the kids when they fall sick, or at worst, when there is any emergency in the house.
But she wants us to be going outings at least once in two months or once in three months.
I don't buy the idea, because I prefer buying some small chop-chop things for her and the kids every once in a while.
..
There are some other many unwarranted expenses which she said that shouldn't be done from the Money For Upkeep.
And I am no more find it funny any longer.
And we had been having slight quarrellings over these minor expenses from time to time.
..
Please my people, help me.
What and what are the expenses which the Upkeep-Money should cater for, and which ones are not supposed to be settled with the Upkeep-Money??

Electronic transition is important if we want the results to be announced early.

Electronic accreditation should be dropped cos that will slow the process of the election. Network will Bleep up in some areas Sha ni
Electronic Accreditation doesn't require network at all..
Tell me which one is faster between finding a person's name on a manual booklet of about 30-pages which we call Register, and a Technological Gadget that already has the register configured inside it.
..
..
(You're confusing Electronic Transmission with Electronic Accreditation when you mentioned “Network”.. It is Electronic Transmission that requires Network, not Accreditation.)

You see this picture you posted up there??

That thing that man said in the picture might hold true for the moment,
But it would definitely change very soon.
..
The people who cast the votes would soon be the ones to decide everything.
The people who cast the votes would soon become the most powerful elements.
The people who cast the votes would soon be the ones that would be regarded as the real politicians.
..
By then, ones who count the votes would be relegated to their true position.
They would realise by themselves that they were just employed by the people who cast the votes, just for them to make known to the people who cast the votes, the decisions they made by the votes they cast - and nothing more.

Talking About The INEC Technological Innovations; INEC had made it clear that full Electronic Voting has Four Phases, vis: Electronic Register, Electronic Accreditation and Authentication, Electronic Balloting, Electronic Collation and Transmission.
..
At the moment, they have fully succeeded with ONLY the first phase, which is the Electronic Register.
And they are definitely going to use it in the upcoming Anambra Governorship Election.

..
They have also said that the Electronic Balloting may come later.
..
That means, we are looking forward to have them deploy the Electronic Accreditation and Authentication, as well the Electronic Collation and Transmission phases in the upcoming Anambra Governorship Election.
..
But there is a little hiccup.
The current Electoral Act (2010 - As Amended) did not support Electronic Collation and Transmission, and thus, it cannot be deployed in the Anambra Governorship Election (unless they are used for test-running purposes).
But the current Electoral Act (2010 - As Amended) supports that if the “Presiding Officer” is satisfied that the Voter is also the person whose name and details are on the “Register”, then he can be allowed to vote. And this time around, the Register is no more a “Booklet Register”, but an “Electronic Register”.
..
A lot of stakeholders have already started to reject the idea of doing only the Electronic Accreditation and Authentication if the Electronic Collation and Transmission is not going to compulsorily go with it.
..
They are trying to make it be as if the Electronic Collation and Transmission is more important than Electronic Accreditation and Authentication.
..
Now, I am asking..
Even though these phases have their own separate importance in the whole Electronic Voting Process, and that One can actually function without the other, I now want to know which one out of these two phases is more important..
Is it the Electronic Accreditation and Authentication??
Or is it the Electronic Collation and Transmission??

..
..
..
THANKS FOR YOUR TIME.
