True at the above, there are no jobs for foreigners and the citizens are hostile to Nigerians. The major thing I like about SA is that it's a beautiful African country, like you get both the African and European mix in one place. I wish Nigeria is developed to that extent, I swear we won't be migrating as much. South Africans rarely migrate even as much as they get preferential treatment on visas to USA, UK etc. Canada, Australia, UK are very boring to live especially if you were a lagosian. |

I used to think they have high rate like you, but during my visit I observed that they take their health sector very seriously so all cases are reported, unlike ours with poor documentation. Same with crime reports, there are many unreported crimes in Nigeria but every crime there is being reported which makes it seems as though theirs is higher. Geenosko: My post was based on stats not sentiments. If you have a different opinion, use stats to dispute it. |

Not immediately. Wait at least a month..my opinion, make sure all your arrangement are in order this time around bivoprad: Okay. Thanks....I really appreciate it. Do you know how soon I can reapply? |
Travel › Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Blurpy: 12:49pm On May 07, 2021 |
As in eh sapphiremystic: You have been told repeatedly to reapply, do not appeal. The least reply time for an appeal is 6 months. If you're willing to handover your passport for at least 6 months, then appeal. Please visit any VFS office, they will assist you with appealing. |

SA is beautiful. Enjoyed my stay in Pretoria very well. Visited Mandela house in Soweto, Apartheid museum was closed due to covid19, Safari park though it was boring for me, wanted to do bungee jumping but the south African Uber driver discouraged me. Also Visited Mandela square in Sandton and Union building. I remember Hatfield, Auckland, Braamfontein ( student zone ) very beautiful!, Omo, Sandton is beautiful. Can you share the name of the academy so I can research on it please baba4thegehs: Thanks insightful response.
I'm a product designer and also develop websites. I stumble on a very interesting course in an academy in South Africa and I'm considering it. I know getting a job won't be so difficult cause the skill is in high demand and I still get SA company that poaches me but most of them will want you in SA before considering hiring due to strigent immigration policies and relocation burdens.
The program runs for one year and it's an SAQA Level 7 upon completion, I'll be exploring a work permit or permanent residency or what's have you.
But just trying to play safe here cause I have a secured 9-5 that pays overs 250k here in Nigeria in top Fintech company. But I just need to grow my career the course curriculum is the best I have seen so far, I can say it matches some programs in US and UK universities and colleges. But the program cost about N2mllion and January 2022 intake is open.
I'll just take it slow and hope things works out as planned. |
