NaijaTechnician:SUPPORTED!! A COORDINATED strategic and synchronized approach!! It's only in Naija that when we are pushed to the wall, we melt the wall and pass thru, instead of pushing forward. |
Hi Henry, I'm probably 3 years late to this thread, perhaps someone else might benefit from it. I reckon you have very high metabolism, whc burns off the food you eat very fast. So you need to eat extra to have enuff to store. You also mentioned having peptic ulcer. Have you treated this? (peptic ulcer). One of the major causes of ulcer is lack of constant food or poor eating habit; was there a time you were not eating regularly? I'll suggest that you treat the peptic ulcer completely, see ur doc or pharmacist for that. henry255:The way I understand it is thus: (I stand corrected tho). When we eat, the food (glucose and nutrients) gets into our body thru the small intestine and are either STORED for future energy (usu in the liver, or as fat in other parts of the body), or the food is circulated in the blood to provide energy for the body tissues and organs (from the glucose in the food). So if your tissues and organs are using more glucose (high metabolism), your body will not store the glucose as glycogen and other body fat. So 2 angles may be involved: a) reduce ur metabolism / reduce ur activities b) increase ur food intake per day. The easiest way to reduce metabolism is to SLEEP, this slows down the body system and organs. On the other hand you can increase ur feeding frequency and your consumption volume. Agreed additional supplements and drugs may help, but I presume that getting FAT really depends on INCREASED FOOD INTAKE. Instead use the money for those expensive drugs and supplements and eat good and plenty food. [I'll also like to add that it is possible that pple who are fat might have slow metabolism, hence their body does not burn up the eaten food, and hence the liver converts and stores the food as body fat. Hence sliming down for them may involve increasing body metabolism thru exercise and work-out, etc] Hope these not-so-few words of mine will be of help. Rgds |

Hi Prince Still available? |
#copied *He is 31 years old* Austria today December 18, 2017 made history by electing the world's youngest president who is 31 years old. His name is Sebastian Kurz, he is just 31 years old. Before today's election, he was the country's foreign minister. While our youths are contented with being ass lickers, praise singers and Special assistants on social media in Nigeria, youths else where are disrupting the status quo, pushing for innovation, changing the narrative and pushing for the new frontier. From Facebook to Snapchat and Taxify, these tech giants were founded by millennials who are youths. Mark Zukerberg is just 32 years old and the youngest billionaire in the world. The bar has been raised in Austria that elected a 31 years old man as its leader. Joseph & David in the Bible mounted the throne at about age 30. A 31 years old man in Nigeria is probably in his parents house, unemployed and broke, eating free food and not bothered. The 31 old Nigerian man is feeling big supporting politicians (who directly or indirectly put us in the mess we are in) on Facebook without seeing the nexus between the failed leadership and present unemployment predicament. I weep for our youths many of whom are wasting away forgetting that time waits for no one. The condition in Nigeria is not helping matters though and then my generation is not ready to push for change. Those who have bank jobs think they are on top of the world, forgetting that the owners of the banks were Billionaires at their age. The women get married and drive their husband's cars and think they have arrived. I ask myself and other young people reading this, what are you doing with your life? Are you happy with the way you are at the moment? What are you doing to push for change? I wish you a Thought Provoking New Year #Edited https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sebastian_Kurz |
When we as a pple stop defending or making excuses for FAILURE or INEFFICIENCY, that is when this country will begin to improve for better. How do u think the poli-trick-shians will feel if 100 million Nigerian tell them: "Guys, u have failed so far, u have less than 2 years to fix ur act, or....." Brothers and Sisters, they will all sit up and WORK to produce results. If govt activities were run d way private firms run things, with clear objectives, efficiency and commitment, my dear all economic woes will reverse and pple will b rushing at Naija embassies to come live in Naija. Stop making excuses, bcx they will relax. Make them accountable and take ownership Saintp: |
Some truths here. It starts with d man (or woman) in the mirror you are holding. Are there saboteurs? Are there self-serving pple in govt? Has Nigeria bcm too big to be governed effectively by one person? Do we need to try d 6 geo-political regional VPs & one Abuja-based Presidente? I must say it's getting pretty worrisome the way young pple are venting out abt d current way things are going. You don't compare failure with failure, nor defend d indefensible. GEJ allegedly was clueless and had too many worms in d national cake. PMB in a bid to allegedly deflect the no or slow results shld know that the blame game has a limit. It's not abt all d noise and cussing going on here. The question is.... ...do u have ur Voter's Card ready for 2019? Do u now see why u shld b part of the process to bring in a credible prezz in 2019? Pls leave out those old men to remain as senior board or presidential advisers. How old is Weah of Liberia? jinneyb: |
My take... Back in 2011, we had only 2 options to choose from. The incumbent who was allegedly clueless, And d challenger whose "body language" eventually didn't posses d "bite" we had expected, and who has allegedly turned out to be unaware of many things. Pls in 2019, let's have more than 3 solid options to choose from. Not old men who have been in d "system" since when I was pushing old tyre down d street. Pls can someone tell me George Weah's age? But again, I don't want to dwell on d Naija system bcx it has evolved such that any and every well-meaning leader will struggle to make that diffnce. I can bet you that if Obama bcms d President of Naija he will struggle to succeed, bcx this system, setup, structure of Naija govt needs serious review (aka restructuring). OBJ heard whiii, GEJ see pepper, now PMB isn't aware. The next prezz will not fare any diffntly. Come chk my comments in 2023... these same complains will continue, unless we redesign the way we run the system. What do u call a pple who do things same way & expects a diffnt result? Make I shoot fireworks, I dey come. |

donblade85555:Yes, I still watch. Esp since that's what d kids wanna watch, I watch with them, even that d Cinema. Need to be sure they are not getting the wrong content into their little heads. Kids these days learn super-fast. A 5 year-old boy is already playing games on the mini-laptop, and his 7-month old bro was draggin the laptop with him. hmmmm.. |
kizyalex10:I think you shld still inform her about ur intention & plans. The worst that can happen is a NO. Some ladies can see the future, by knowing how serious a guy can be. Having her as a friend, close friend, can even help to project u better in life. Some good ladies can advise well too. I just dey waka pass... |

tintingz:Did u watch it on regular Cartoon Network? |
And some cartoons subtly promo gay couples too, eg. Loud House. Have instructed my kids not to watch it, and for now, they report each other, if any of them flicks thru. I have even cautioned them abt some excessive magical (and subtle wizardry/witchcraft) cartoons; eg sabrina the teeneage witch, is a NO-GO! God help us. |
tintingz:yea, looks like her! |
If this was truly on CN and not some crazy side animation by someone to discredit dstv, then too bad for DSTV/Multichoice. Pls someone shld send it to them directly (I'll look for their staff on LinkedIn and give them a copy). Beyond that, some parents still dress up in-front of their kids, abi am I lying? Dangling droopy boobs and stretched-up bums around the house! Or fathers tying wrappers or wearing tight boxers with all his "jowols" peeking out from somewhere Or parents leaving their bedrooms unlocked after d nite's action, and the kids step in and see popsy's fallen member or momsy's em...em...emm. So beyond shouting hey and hai at the carton, tidy up ur own acts at home. kpom kwem! |

Some pple can be funny sef. See odd responses. @Addictedtodrugs: All you need is to find a rehabilitation centre, and seek help there. Not sure u can get much help from chat rooms. Pple get addicted to so many different things sometime in their lives, but getting out it will take a whole lot of determination, self-conviction, and of course genuine prayer. Negative Impact in the future:Ask yourself, if tomo I bcm an important personality, will I be happy if someone digs up "my past" to hurt my future? Picture this: You have a pretty daughter tomo and pple avoid her bcx you her father is a drug addict or stuck in a mental home. So u see, u wont only be messing up ur life, but the lives of ur loved ones too. Impact of Family & Relatives and Friends: It's not your life alone, so dont waste it. Pple have invested time, money and energy to you to become somebody in life. There are also younger ones looking up to Uncle X. Or when you get a nice lady to settle with, or go for job interviews, you will be turned down bcx of the addiction thingy. Life isnt about living for now, it about living for the future. Expensive: Come to think of it, addiction to those drugs you mentioned is a very expensive way of living, how have u been funding it? Stealing from family members? That means no one can leave his/her things around u, bcx it disappear. Street Impact: And you see all those scatter-heads on the roads, such drugs as these go and mess up their brains, next you see them one d streets, stark naked. Your future is bright: Guy, at 25y, u still have ur life to live ahead of you. You still have about 50 more years to live (give or take), please THINK REALLY HARD about your life and make a decision. First steps towards finding Solution: What you must know is that YOU CANT DO IT ALONE. But I am gald you have taken the first step to ASK FOR HELP. NEXT, Go to the nearest hospital to u, ask to see a doctor, dont be shy or scared. Tell the doc to help u and refer u to a good REHABILITATION CENTRE. So fix ur life. God be with you and guide you right. Does it really work? And YES, many many pple have been successfully rehabilitated, and they are living normal lives. But wait oh...! But, if on the other hand, your topic is just an attention-seeking topic, oh, well, I hope someone will have benefited from my brief write-up. I believe in #TouchingLives. God's speed! |
Too many long talks. The important this is that when and if these road projects begin, there will be money in circulation, and this will trickle down the value chain: - The Construction company will definitely get paid - Casual workers will then be paid - Back office staff will be paid - Mama Musa will be selling food and drinks at the construction site - Mama Emma will sell her kunu and zobo - Importers of building materials will sell their wares, and import more. - Suppliers of asphalt will get d biz going - Drivers of 10-ton trucks and tippers, and drivers of caterpillars will earn some money - Diesel marketers will earn money - Cement suppliers will earn money for bridges - Surveyors will get busy - Even lawyers will get busy (to file for claims) - Hospitals will earn money to treat cuts and site accidents - Sellers of safety wears (reflectors, head-protectors, boots, ropes, etc) will earn pay - Pure water sellers will earn pay - Roast corn sellers will earn pay - Bush meat sellers will earn pay - Banks will earn pay, bcx payments will pass thru them (ATMs, bank charges, etc) - And least I forget, the govt officials in the ministry will also get their kick-back, kick-front, kick-under and kick-around. So, YOU, instead of sitting here to criticize and yab, why not fine a space in the above value-chain and slot in yourself?, biko. I'm sure there's enough to go round. When GOVT spends, the pple benefits, bcx there is will money in d pockets! That is how to get out of a recession!! I am not an economist, but it's common sense. (not like Mr Commonsense oh!!) Make I go sell my IBUPROFEN and PARACETAMOL and ANTIMALARIALS (mosquitoes in the bush), anti-allergy creams (insect bites).\ I dey come. |
