You might have already seen this... DSTV Enough Is Enough!! Fellow Nigerians, let's ALL boycott DSTV & GoTv services of MultiChoice Nig Ltd from April 1st 2015 for their planned & exploitative tariff increase which they want to FOIST on the over 2 million subscribers they have in Nigeria on April 1st 2015 (See front pg 9/3/15 Guardian newspaper). Enough is ENOUGH! Nigerians will no longer tolerate this! We will no longer tolerate the lack of Pay-as-you-Watch services they offer in South Africa & other countries but in Nigeria they keep our accounts running even when we travel & there is no-one at home to utilize the service even though they know these Countries have less subscribers/population than Nigeria. They must implement PAY-AS-U-WATCH in Nigeria on April 1st, 2015, this will LOWER TARRIFS; we insist on it, we are not April Fools! They must make that Pay-as-u-watch service EASY for Nigerians to access with no tricks or long queues to sign up for it. No more substandard decoders!! Their monopolostic exploitative tendencies must end in Nigeria! As the Arab Spring brought change of Govt in the Middle East, this "DSTV Spring" must bring change, better services & lower prices come April 1st 2015 if we all unite as one! PLEASE re-broadcast this to everyone on your WhatsApp, BBm & WeChat contact list, Tweet it, post it on your FB Status till our VOICE is heard & heeded to in their South African Head Office & this is done, Change Must Come! |

Yes, I was mentoring/counselling a young lady, after many months on the program, she started developing affection for me and she wanted "more". We were like 12 years apart, and I took her like a little sister. I declined, telling her that I don't want her to become a 'number', and that she'll gain more from the knowledge and guidance I will give her than just to satisfy an urge. She hated me for months, but eventually, she's listening now, and she's maturing into a smart lady. ...And it wasn't an easy task. |
Diesel1:change your foot to what? |
Terminal ke? For this sensitive times? No smoke without fire... The way this pple work is to first circulate rumours to "test" the reaction of the populace, b4 they strike. Just as we saw with last weeks postponement... |
naijareferee:...Continue to do what? |

Waiting for INEC's version. All these are loud newspaper headlines and speculations, but with contents that we already know. |
What kind of reasons are these? Waiting for INEC's version... |
Disappointed! Nothing changes. What kind of reasons are these? Waiting for INEC's version... |
http://headlines.ng/news/breaking-news-nigeria-postpones-february-14-elections/ The February 14 Presidential and legislative elections is postponed for six weeks to give a new multinational force time to secure northeastern areas under the sway of Boko Haram. Millions could be disenfranchised if the voting went ahead while the Islamic extremists hold a large swath of the northeast and commit mayhem that has driven 1.5 million people from their homes. A postponement also will give electoral officials more time to deliver some 30 million voter cards. The commission had said the non-delivery of cards to nearly half of the 68.8 million registered voters was not a good reason to delay the vote. http://headlines.ng/news/breaking-news-nigeria-postpones-february-14-elections/ The write-up looks scanty. Does anyone have a similar info? |
In my opinion (IMO), GEJ might just have become the Madiba of Naija if he had "stepped-away" after this year (6 years of presidency). He might have bcm more respected, admired, revered and entered into the good place in Nigerian history. His followership and Global respect given to him might have been better than becoming the next Nigerian president. His reputation might have exceeded all previous Naija leaders... He might have lived upto his name AZIKIWE... And might have become a real Statesman, as a young age. The whole Country would have respected him; people will seek his advise, to receive blessings and seek counsel. Who knows PDP might have brought another candidate that will match APC squarely. ![]() But then, POLITICS is the name of the GAME. Come Feb-14-2015, we go know how far...! God Bless Naija. [Like I mentioned....In My Opinion] |
kay1one:Kay1one, so does that mean that our Naija cant be better? |
Ok, I get a video file from +639429918725 via Whatsapp. I don't know who sent it. I download it (after wasting my MB) and get a political video from a politician. I replied that they shouldnt bother me again with such trash, bcx it doesnt make any diff. I mean, what d heck is wrong with them? How the heck did they get my gsm number? Is it right for MTN to give out my number without my consent? What can be done to the gsm/telcos to stop giving out our phone numbers for commercial purposes? I am paying for the services they are providing me, so they shouldnt give out my number! Meanwhile, I dont trust any politician here in Nigeria so they shld quit bugging me! They are all the same. The pple working with them too, are all the same. Do they really have anything to offer? Same old promises!! Some of them dont even bother promising at all so that they will not be held accountable tomorrow. They just mix a stupid, empty song and play on radio as jingle; no manifesto, nothing concrete. The most annoying part is my employer takes almost half of my salary to pay tax, yet I dont see any reasonable improvement; or maybe tomo another person will embezzle it again. NASS and House of Reps have been getting crazy payments, for doing what? What they do can be paid on a part-time basis. So after Feb 14, what's next? After May 29, what's next? Gosh! Nigeria - WAKE UP! |
interesting... |

There are 2 ways to go about this. Use style and give him/her TomTom sweet na. OR Tell him/her directly, like, seems like your toothpaste isn't working well. OR increase ur brushing to 2ce daily. OR Guy/Gal abeg try see ur dentist. Not meaning to make u feel uncomfortable, but it's better I tell u as a friend than to allow u get embarassed outside. I'm sure s/he will be grateful that you've got his/her back. |
