What killed him eventually?

I guess the mother slept on it. I instructed that the mother should be separated as adviced here and later asked the Vet to go check them up the following day, the Vet only confirmed to me that they were both okay not knowing that he gave the girl another instruction to put them together, wen I called him he apologized, he said since that was not the dog's first litter. I was mad at him even from the last litter 5 survived from a litter of 8 puppies.

As it is now, I don't think I can really trust the vet's judgment. Please how do I go about preventing puppies from dieing ? Presently one of my dogs is pregnant while another one just matted ,hopeing it will result.

Please help with steps to be taking right from the first day of litter.

Take it away from the mother at night and let it sleep somewhere warm. Feed it with a vet-approved milk formula. Good luck.

My dog gave birth to 5 puppies on Monday but unfortunately I av lost 4 of them remaining just one. According to the person helping me to take care of the, she usually finds them dead in the morning, she believes the mother sleeps on them while feeding them overnight.

Please what can I do to prevent the last one from dieing and please what is the best way to take care of just littered puppies.

I believe knowing this will help me save the last puppy and also subsequent litters

Thanks guys. I tried this and I am glad I did. Though na only my Boerboel dey rush the tin like mad, while my Caucasians dey form butty. For the male CO, I am not really disappointed bcus the dog doesn't eat much, he only eat little of whatever u give him. The female CO eats better but not much of this particular food. What I later did for her was to add milk and wen I wasn't satisfied enough with the way she was eating, I added egg and she ate well, I need her to feed well bcus she just had her puppies. Whenever she didn't eat after adding all, I still end up giving dry food. For a boerboel, is that how they all eat or did one is just different? She can eat for Africa. Lol

I never knew the importance until I got it here, I would have been a victim.I was with my host gisting wen the wife came from work with mails she got on her way in. She started sorting them and gave one to me that my sons SSN was out, the guy collected it and b4 I could say jack, he opened it and was trying to crame the number bcus he was no more coherent, I quickly grabbed it from him and jokingly told him that he shld av allowed me hand it over to the owner(my son ) first since it was address to the boy.The point here is that I wouldnt av collected it from him like that, if I had not knwn the importance, I whould probably Hav seen it If its just like sumone flipping tru the pages of ur child's passport, which is no big deal. Pls explain to him,he may not kW.I bliv he wil support u. Trust me, u need his support in all this.
I blive no man wil want anytin to affect his child negatively in the nearest future. All in all, make sure u call to protect the SSN no matter what.

We had just 6 bags so I wouldnt kW if they would av allowed 2 bags for him. I was made to 74,400 was 10% of adult one way ticket for our travel date and not for a seat, but for him to be carried on the lap by and adult. I eventually requested for a bassinet for him and we got one. Car seat was also checked. Travel with just one hand luggage while my wife with just d dieper bag, I guess we didn't maximise our baggage allowance.

This is to say a very big thank you to this great forum. God has used you to make me gather more than enough information necessary for this great missionary journey, even my friends in USA were all surprised at the things I kW abt the journey that they never knew was possible eg the ETC, they don't kW I av a house where I get my Orijo/expo.
Finally back home with Wiffy,Daughter and the new born.

I want to say a very big thank you to the whole house for all the information I was able to gather.
Will be going back to Naija dis week. I was able to get all necessary document for my baby: BC,SSN,passport,ETC(to b delivered tmrw) all within 2 weeks. Thanks to Nef and yokus for their tips on d ETC.

I really appreciate everybody in the house.

For zero balance, I was given a letter signed by the financial councillor stating that my wife (name stated)came to have our baby(name also stated) in their hospital and that she paid all her bill and that of our son and that she has zero balance with them and not indebted to them as all bills have been paid.
Please is this enough? bcus I av once read it here that the zero balance thing shld be like a statement of account showing bill and what was paid .
Kindly help with dis, so DAT I will kW if I still need to take a trip to the hospital before I leave.
