nefertitiram:
Have you paid for the passport?
Do you have a passport agency downtown where you are? Thats the only place you can get the passport same day.
If there is not passport agency where you are, you can use an agent. Google for an agent where you are.

Good morning all.
I collected my child's birth certificate on monday and requested for his passport same day(expedited) was charged $200 plus. The lady said the shortest possible time I can get it is 2-4 weeks while I am due to come back to naija second week of march. My friend here said that what they will say that the passport will get here before then. Please for those that have expidited their LO's pp, did u get it before two weeks even when they told you the same thing I was told?

Secondly , I am thinking I shld do ETC, I think I might not av enough tym to process visa if the passport comes considering my travel date. One of the requirement is to send my travel plan. Pls would I av added the baby's ticket before sending it or before I add it, and pls how long does the process take. Pls help with Di's and any oda info that might help. Thank you

But if u av to, I think Delta and united will take 36 weeks

Good day all.

Wiffy will be travelling dis month. Pls I will like make an equity abt baby's travelling document so as to be prepared and also to make a decision on time as regards it. Apart from the blue kpali the baby will get. One needs a Nigerian pp or visa or ETC to bring the child back home. For Nigeria pp, I guess I understand and think thats the best if one can get it. I read abt pple getting Nigeria visa to bring the baby home, does that mean one must take the baby back to US before the end of 6moneths or is the 6 months maximum stay rule not application to Americans in Nigeria. Thinking can one just do the ETC and come get Nigerian passport at home?

Hi VO, Please I will like u to help with this questions.A lady wants to apply for a USA visa for holiday with her son. She is gainfully employed with a manthly salary of 400k plus. The main issue here is that all her documents: statement of acct,I d card, passport ,etc are in her maiden name while the son's name is in his father's names. Pls , will this affect the application? She has the boy's birth certificate stating her as the mother(with maiden name) and the boys fathers name as the father. She didn't have a marriage certificate bcus they didnt do a "proper wedding/marriage". What are her chance and also what other document will she b needing from the child's father?

thank you

Thank so much for the reply. I later called Delta as adviced and the price they gave me no smile at all. N445k compared to the 270k on wakanow. Thinking I will go with wakanow but will need to do some calculation so that we don't need change travel dates, will only be left with adding baby's ticket which can not be up to the 175k difference. Thinking of booking the return leg to be exactly a month after expected delivery date. We are thinking of c-section

Na wa o. Before I was able to decide , price don go up. Now N345k. I guess I will still have to wait a bit to c if I can get a better deal. Abeg, kindly alert the house is u get any better deal. Destination is missouri , planning to travel late January or latest 3rd Feb., 2016. Thank you

[quote author=LI post=40589190]I'll let the people who gave birth in Missouri give specific guidance. But generally speaking, as long as you're very well prepared, a month is more than enough to get all your baby's documents.
We decided for wifey to stay back a month after giving birth. After we got all our documents in less than 2 weeks, iyawo became homesick.

Thanks

doctors in the USA don't induce until after 40 weeks unless it's high risk pregnancy/multiples,but am thinking for you to want to go for CS upfront maybe she has done it before.

Thanks for the response. Yes , we had our daughter tru CS. Fear catch me wen she said we can schedule the CS for a week bfor the scan EDD. Appreciate

Good day all, I am trying to buy wiffy's ticket to Missouri,I got a deal of 270k for her and our 18month old daughter on wakanow website(Delta). I am skeptical abt dis because I av read it here that to change date or add ticket is not always easy with wakanow and co. Pls how can I buy directly from the airline , I av tried their(Delta airline)website but was not able to and i don't stay in Lagos. Please , is there a number I can call to book the flight? Secondly, the itinerary is atlanta - LA Guardia - Kansas city (Missouri). I kW the POE will be Atlanta but pls will her luggage be checked to her final destination or will she need to pick it in Atlanta first? I am just concerned about having to carry load with big belle and 18 month old child. Kindly help with these questions . thanks

Good morning all. Pls I just want to sure this is good enough for POE. I av been in contact with a hospital for a while , all our conversation has been through telephone, they said they don't send mail outside the US, I was able to persuade them to send it to a relative in US. What they sent is a letter quoting their fees and also stating that my wife has an appointment with both the financial department and a doctor on a stated date. My concerns: Is this good enough as the Preached doctor's/ hospital's correspondence? The letter was signed by a financial counsellor, pls do I need to push further for any other correspondence or Document. I just want to be sure Wifey is good to go.
