Because he was not the on that hacked them. He was simply the brawn of that operation and a bad one at that. Hushpuppy even had a handler whom he implicated with his carelessness.

These guys are the brains behind the MTN hack. Why not employ them and convert them to tools for the greater good.

EducationRe: UNICAL Suspend Student Says He Breached Matriculation Oaths by bmasz(m): 8:42pm On Jul 06, 2024
Glory018:
According to a letter of suspension addressed to the affected student and signed by the University Registrar, Mr Gabriel Egbe, Livinson Arikpo has repeatedly been involved in acts of lawlessness capable of disrupting the peace and serenity of the University.

In one instance, Livinson Arikpo was reported to have, shortly after the inauguration of the immediate past Student Union Government (SUG) Executives, allegedly locked the SUG President out of his official residence in the hostel, demanding that he (Livingson Arikpo) be “settled as a stakeholder”.

Recently, precisely on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2024, Livinson Arikpo was alleged to have taken advantage of the epileptic power supply on campus and mobilized some students to protest, locking out staff and peace-loving students.

Livinson Arikpo was said to have vehemently rebuffed all requests by the Substantive SUG President, the Dean of Students and other well-meaning staff to open the gates.

As if that was not enough, he was said to have forcefully put off the generator that supplies power to the pumping machine used to supply water to the hostels with the intent to incite the students against the University Administration.

The letter reads in part… “Such uncivilized and lawless conducts are unbecoming of a student, who is supposedly trained in character and learning. Your actions, as you know, contravene the provisions of the Students’ Handbook and your Matriculation Oath.
The Vice-Chancellor has therefore directed that you should be suspended.

You are hereby suspended from all academic activities of the University while the matter is referred to the Students’ Disciplinary Committee for further investigation.
When the people indicting him are the same persons that are the judge, jury and executioner in this case; I would enjoin you all to take this report with a pinch of salt.

Is it wrong to demand that the right thing should be done by those who were responsible for ensuring that there was light and water in the hostel

Five days after the incident, there is still no light or water for students to use. And this time around no one can protest because no student wants to be suspended.

This is a case of institutional corruption and abuse of power.

What happened to the character they say they have as an institution. No meeting has been held to at least let the students know that their situation is being handled by the staff responsible.

Students are suffering silently. People usually complain when they are the recipient of injustices, but when they are the ones dishing it out they feel justified by their actions.

Why is this true? In 2020 universities embacked on an eight month strike. It was a form of protest against injustice. But now, Unical administrators feel it's absurd for students in similar situations to complain.

The swiftness with which they came to that conclusion makes it seem like they act with such swiftness in all situations. We no this is not true, because they situation for which he was suspended still persist has its yet to be addressed.

What I'm saying is that if something smells fishy, it must be a fish.

Nigeria just like making laws they can't enforce

This law makes no sense

Instead of you to focus on taxing their streaming earnings by 40% minimum .. This is easier to do, easy to trace and instant revenue generation
It's understandable for you to assert that the law makes no sense. I concur to your line of reasoning here.

What I don't understand is your reason for the tax proposal.

When high taxation policies are created by governments in first world nations, it's because the government believes that they contributed to your success by creating an environment that enabled you to be successful.

We all know the reverse to be the case here in Nigeria. This is not to say the government is not trying her best. This is to say her best is not besting at all.

I don't think it would be a smart move by the government to make skit makers pay tax that high.

I believe that skit makers should be taxed, but not anywhere near 40% of their earnings

I agree with your premise that they are still good girls in Nigeria.

But I disagree with the manner with which you choose to appreciate her goodness.

It's not a healthy way to go about loving. It shows a lack of creativity with your chosen model for expression of affection.

Money is not the only way to show love. Do you need money to express and experience shared memories. Hell yeah.

And certainly giving someone literally all your money to express love is not sustainable in the long run.

Abeg no use money spoil the good girl whey you find, so that if Una no de again tomorrow, e no go make life hard for the next lover boy in the queue of love.

But then again. I believe that we have good girls in Nigeria and they are not as vocal as the baddies we see on social media. So them yapa and they are a silent majority.

Sxx is the only language poor men understand. A man turned his struggling wife to the head of the family and here is another man stating that the sexual needs of the useless figurehead should be prioritized.
What a shame on y'all.
Y'all disgust me.
Kindly note that I do not support any able bodied man absconding from doing meaningful work to take care of his family.

With that point out of the way, would you say the man is free to deprive his wife of sex if the she resigns from work after marriage.

Would it be proper for the man to say, ok lady as you are no longer bringing anything to the table, no more sex for you?

From my experience, that behavior of resigning from work after wedding ceremony is more common among women that it's is among men.

We should try to gather more data points before encouraging people to continue with destructive behaviors.

What the man did is bad. And what the wife did by denying him sex is equally bad.

Two wrongs do not make a right. Fire plus fire would only yield more fire.

She has to sit him down in a heart to heart conversation to find out if he was fired.

A similar situation happened to someone really close to me. About ten years ago after the conclusion of their wedding ceremony, the husband was sacked because his boss felt he stole from his business to sponsor his wedding.

The young man struggled for two years to get back on his feet. During that period, he was supported by his wife.

Was it easy for them, hell NO. Did the wife feel like acting like the poster up there? You can bet on it!

The saving grace was that she sort for advise, listened to it and supported her husband until he got back on his feet.

I believe you can do the same by supporting him in any way you can.
PoliticsRe: You Are Not Worthy Of Being Addressed As Governor, Reno Omokri Slams Alex Otti by bmasz(m): 7:01pm On May 30, 2024
bennybuhari:
Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri Has slammed Abia State governor, Alex Otti over his position on the atrocities being committed by enforcers of sit-at-home in his state.

Otti had said that his administration is not interested in going into unnecessary confrontation with the promoters of the May 30 sit- at- home in honour of those killed during the Nigeria civil war as people have a right to mourn their dead.

However, taking to his social media handles, Omokri said Otti should take a cue from how his counterpart in Oyo state, Seyi Makinde dealt with Yoruba nation agitators.

He also condemned Peter Obi and Oby Ezekwesili for describing Otti as the best Governor in Nigeria.

“Last month, Yoruba nation agitators tried nonsense in Ibadan. The Governor of Oyo did not wait for any Federal Government. He used Oyo State’s authority to arrest the perpetrators within hours of the incident”.

The very next day, Governor Seyi Makinde destroyed their houses. On the third day, they were in court. Today, they are in prison”.

“That is a Governor! Not this one that watches and does nothing while a separatist group causes killings, mayhem and chaos in his state. And this is the man Peter Obi, and Oby Ezekwesili praised as the best Governor!”

https://thescrutinyng.com/index.php/2024/05/30/you-are-not-worthy-of-being-addressed-as-governor-omokri-slams-otti/
When we celebrate extrajudicial actions from state actors we are invariably consenting to the slippery slope where the abuse of human rights and dignity is normalized.

It's so shameful that Omokri's narcissistic need to stay relevant would cause him to stoop so low to the extent of publicly supporting the abuse of state might.

Am I in support of non-state actors allegedly using the threat of violence to hold the state to ransom.

Hell NO.

But, my view in this instance is that there are ways to ensure that the dignity of the organizers of stay at home policies are upheld while fighting to restore normalcy.

With all due respect to your person, correct me if I am wrong. I believe you didn't experience Tinapa in its full glory.

Most banks in Nigeria where fully represented on premise. The shops were fully functional.

1. Conferences were being held with those auditoriums.
2. Guests were coming from all over the country to explore.
3. Not mentioning tourist lodging in its 4 star ⭐ hotel.

At atmosphere and all. That place was self funding.

This is not in anyway invalidating your other arguments.

But I believe that even though Tinapa was an ambitious project, the designers projections would have been impeccable if the project had the continuing it deserved.

The country generally lack a raod map, one person can come with a brilliant idea and start implementing it only for the next leader or ruler to abandon it not minding the amount of resources that has gone into it and start his own that his successor to will rubbish and on and on the useless circle continues! What a shame
The country has a roadmap. It is documented as white papers. It just that most successors lack the discipline to stick to it.

Successive governments in Akwa Ibom stuck to Victor Attahs roadmap for the state and you see where they are after so many years.

Like the folks in tech usually say, "don't reinvent the wheels". Stick to what has worked for the other person and build on it

We admire foreign governments because irrespective of who is at the helm of affairs, the blueprint for the country or state would be adhered to.

This does not in anyway stops the incumbent from bringing fresh perspective and ideas to the polity.

Nigeria on paper is supposed to be great, because a plethora of great minds have written documents upon documents detailing how to move her forward.

But as usual, our leaders are too scared to stand on the shoulders of giants who have gone before then.

Donald Duke just zapped billions there. So sad.
Say what you know.

The question is was Tinapa fully functional during Donald's tenure?

Did I hear a yes?

Did Imoke allegedly fail to ensure continuity by removing the managing firm and substituting it with one of his own for his own for political reasons?

I see you nodding your head?

What happened with Ayade and his band of miscreants that allegedly parried almost all the furnitures in the hotel and surrounding complexes away?

After endSARS was over, the place became less than a shadow of its former self.

It's one thing to have a vision, it is another thing for the next person after you to let your vision survive.

You should not blame the visionary for daring to dream and live their dreams if the next person cannot see the need for such lofty ambitions.

Donald did his best with the time he had. The deterioration of tinapa is as a result of carelessness from his successors.

What can I invest this money in, pls advice..
You can do the following

1. Invest with PWAN a real estate company. And get 30% of your investment as ROI after one year. Investment returns is guaranteed with issuance of a post dated check.

2. Buy an apartment for 10-15M. Use 5M for renovations and furnishing, then put it up for Airbnb. Could recoup 20-50% of investment with 18 months depending on location.

3. Invest in agriculture, but a land in rural area for 5M and plant plantain after treatment of land.... Recoup 150% of investment within 6 months.

4. I don tire haha.... Buy grounut_oil in container and sell at 100-500 naira profit margin and make profit on turnovers. Triple investment within a year.

5. Each option has it's pros and cons. That's a discussion for another day.

Hope this is of help.

The truth about the matter is that body count for women is the number of men they have slept with.

But, for men the number of women you have had an official relationship with is what matters.

Men should be easy to sleep with but had to have a relationship with.

Because why give ladies what they need from you on a platter of gold if they would not surrender their pussy from you.
