Four people from Papua New Guinea spent a month in a boat adrift in the Pacific Ocean and lived off rainwater and coconuts. Eight others died, some when the boat capsized and the rest during the time that they were stranded. After setting sail on December 22, the survivors — two men, a woman and a 12-year-old girl — were rescued on January 23 by a fishing vessel A boat carrying 12 people departed from Papua New Guinea before Christmas but capsized, killing eight among them. The remaining four spent a month afloat in the Pacific Ocean — surviving on rainwater and coconuts — and miraculously lived to tell the tale. They were rescued on January 23, according to the Solomon Star News. The survivors include a woman, her child, who is about 12 years old, a man in his 20s, and another man, named Dominic Stally — the only person who's been identified so far. The boat left from Buka, in the Bougainville province, on December 22 to spend the holidays on Carteret Islands, which is about 60 miles away. However, Stally said, the vessel overturned and drowned some of the passengers, including a baby. He did not specify what caused the accident. The others swam with the boat and managed to flip it over and drain the water. Some people died on the boat, though, an emotional Stally told the Star News, declining to share details about all that occurred. Those who survived tried to help the others, but failed, according to Stally. "We could not do anything with their dead bodies. We just have to let go of them at sea," Stally said. He continued: "A couple have died and left behind their baby and I am the one who held on to the baby and..... more on the news here http://www.soundlala.com/news.php?id=1372 |
If you saw HBO’s Leaving Neverland, the explosive documentary exploring allegations that Michael Jackson sexually abused children, you may have been surprised when Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin didn’t make an appearance. As a child, Culkin starred in the music video for Jackson’s “Black and White,” after which he and Jackson became lifelong friends. Throughout the years, as allegations of Jackson's behavior have exploded into the mainstream, Culkin has continuously denied that he ever had any sexual contact with Jackson. In Esquire's March 2020 cover story, Culkin discusses at length his friendship with Jackson, going into detail about their relationship and what did and did not happen. thereof. Both raised by fathers pushing them toward fame at a young age, Culkin and Jackson were kindred spirits, despite their 22-year age difference. The last time they encountered one another was in a men’s room at the Santa Barbara County Superior Courthouse in 2005, where Culkin testified as a character witness in People v. Michael Jackson, wherein Jackson was charged with intoxicating and molesting a 13-year-old boy who had cancer. Jackson was later acquitted. “We better not talk,” Jackson said, according to Culkin. “I don’t want to influence your testimony.” The two embraced before returning to court. It was the last time Culkin would see Jackson before he passed away in 2009. Though Jackson has been dead for over a decade, Leaving Neverland has introduced new aftershocks into Culkin’s life. He spoke about a memorable celebrity encounter that occurred not long after the documentary’s release. “Here’s a good Michael Jackson story that doesn’t involve Michael Jackson at all,” Culkin said. “I ran into James Franco on a plane. I’d bumped into him two or three times over the years. I give him a little nod as we’re putting our bags overhead. Hey, how you doing? Good, how ya doing? And it was right after the Leaving Neverland documentary came out, and he goes, ‘So, that documentary!’ And that was all he said. I was like, ‘Uh-huh.’ Silence. So then he goes, ‘So what do you think?’ And I turned to him and I go, ‘Do you wanna talk about your dead friend?’ And he sheepishly..... more on the article here http://www.soundlala.com/news.php?id=1371

'I'm an old fool' - Pamela Anderson's ex husband, Jon Peters says as he reveals he paid off her $200k debt during their 12-day marriage. Canadian-American actress, Pamela Anderson's ex-husband, Jon Peters, has claimed he paid off her $200,000 debts and bought her a new wardrobe during their 12-day marriage. 'Everything she told you was a lie,' the 74-year-old called himself 'an old fool' in an email to Page Six. 'I welcomed her into my life with open arms and love since I have looked after her for many years,' he wrote. 'I paid… [her] bills since she was broke. I bought her a completely new wardrobe.' Refuting claims he had asked the Baywatch star to be his wife, he instead claimed the 52-year-old proposed to him - via text. He wrote: 'When she texted me that she wanted to get married, it was kind of a dream come true even though I was engaged to someone else and the lady was moving in. 'I dropped everything for Pam. She had almost $200,000 in bills and no way to pay it so I paid it and this is the thanks I get. There's no fool like an old fool.' For her part, Pamela's representatives called Peters' claims 'ludicrous'. Five times married Pamela married the 74-year-old Hollywood mogul in a private ceremony in Malibu on January 20. The pair, who first dated for more than 30 years ago announced their split just 12 days after their wedding. This comes days after it was revealed that Peters ended his..... more on the story here http://www.soundlala.com/news.php?id=1369 |

Mum hides money under mess around the house to test who actually helps out A mum has taken the step to hide cash under rubbish left around the house to reward her husband and children for cleaning up - but it's still remained unclaimed An exhausted mum who feels like the only one who cleans up around the house has invented a genius new game to keep her entertained as she goes. Every so often she tapes money to the underside of mess around the house, including toilet rolls and pieces of paper which have been discarded on the floor. When the money goes unclaimed, she ups the stakes - meaning anyone who decides to lend a helping hand could find themselves rewarded with a small fortune. Unfortunately for her family, they are yet to join in with the litter picking, leaving only their hard-working mum to claim back her own cash. Posting the idea to Facebook, the Aussie parent included a photo collage of finished toilet roll left lying on the bathroom floor, showing it left untouched for a full seven days. If only someone else had thought you pick it up, they would have discovered a $20 note attached with the message 'finders keepers!' In the caption she wrote: "Needing something to inspire kids and husbands to tidy up around the house? Clearly this game hasn’t worked here yet, maybe one day. "For now, I’ll keep upping the prize money, knowing it’s coming back." Other parents who clearly recognised her struggle and wanted to try the game for themselves loved the post, which attracted..... more on the story here http://www.soundlala.com/news.php?id=1368 u looking for a studio to record ur songs? wanna upload ur tracks here www.soundlala.com, house ten LAGOS got u covered dial 090 7525 2828
