Crummy: Hello everyone, I currently have one year working experience and my CRS simulated score is 453, is there a way I can increase my chances without writing TEF/TCF? I am under 30 and have a masters degree If you want to shun TEF, the only way I see is to wait for your work experience to become 3 years. |

liveandletlive3: Guys? For most people, it's either the BCS' Certificate in IT or CIMA. But since you mentioned an IT diploma in Unilag, you might wanna do the BCS exam (as it seems you have an interest in IT already). Next exam is in March, result will be out June/July. And the perk? I believe your evaluation will be faster than if you had decided to do Unilag's course. |

There is still time and people are still signing up with us. Yes, her profile can still be edited after passing the exams. |

aremso: many thanks for prompt response but from the looks of things, she might not meet up for march exams pls is there any other time of the year the exam takes place? Pls at what point can she register into express entry pool? Yes. Exams take place 2ce in a year: March and September. She can register into the express entry people at any time, but with her first degree at the moment. But in the event that an ECA has not been done for the first degree, she can commence this time next year, wait for the results to be out in December, and get into the pool January/February 2021. |

aremso: family, pls can one use BCS as second degree after 1st degree? my wife wants to apply as primary applicant cos of age advantage but we both have Bsc so someone advised she go for BCS as second degree Pls will this work before we embark on it. Yes. But you wouldn't call it a second degree per se; but, an additional certificate to boost your CRS score. When she obtains the certificate, she would qualify for two or more certificates. Plus, you need to decide fast as March 2020 is the next exam period and there is a lot to know! |

Ligxy: Please, do one sit for all 3 modules in March?? No, it is not compulsory to sit for all modules at once. But most people - because of the fight for time - will rather plan to do all at once. Also, if any module is failed, it does not mean one has to rewrite all three; one only needs to write the failed module. And like we normally say to our students, it's a risk worth taking. |

makano: Hello Adunnee, please as regards BCS. I have just my Bsc, no Masters.. So I learnt BCS will increase my scores by 30 scores, how true is this? Also based on my research on the BCS certification, I got to know that BSC is in 3 modules, now my question is will I have to write the 3 modules before I can get a certificate to boost my scores or just writing one module is enough... I don't really know much about this BCS stuff, and I need guidance on how it is being done.. Please anybody that has used BCS to get PPR, I will really appreciate ur input.. Thanks Hi there. Have you made up your mind in writing the exam? If yes, although we encourage self-study, if you feel like you cannot take it anymore on your own, you can sign up with us. For our seniors that wrote bcs in March, around what date in july did the results come out?
So i can sleep well at night.. I think the last batch had theirs released 3 months after in June, not July. It depends, but BCS will definitely mention it soon. Meanwhile, if you are in need of any tutorials or you know anyone who does, contact me. |

schendy: Please what is the cost of the BCS? BCS will cost you 20 or 30 pounds to register for membership, and 40 pounds to register for each module of the exam. There are three modules, meaning it would cost you a maximum of 150 pounds. If you are interested in sitting for the exams in March next year, check my profile for more info. |

nolacozy: Please I how long does it take for updates in the express entry profile to be transmitted.
I made an update like four days ago but it’s showing “update not submitted”
What could be the issue??
Because of that I’m on 472 but I didn’t get an ITA Did you resubmit after the update? I think there should be a function like that, I am uncertain tho. |

makano: Hello house, great work you all are doing here as the information here is really helpful..Please I will appreciate suggestions and advise on my situation which I am about to share.. I want to guys to tell me the truth as regards my chances of getting PPR.. Below is my present situation
I am a single 31+years old Man with over 4 years working experience, and I do not have a Masters degree. I calculated my CRS score and my score was 420. Now, I should be getting married next year and my Fiance is a 25 years old fresh graduate with no work experience, she will be doing her NYSC by next year.. Below are my questions..
1. What will be my best option of applying? should I apply alone or wait till when I get married so I can use my Fiance as the primary applicant. Because truth be told, If I decide to go for Masters now, I would be 33+ when am through, which means automatically my points will drop cos of ma age, but she still has age on her side, dts y I wanna use her as the primary applicant when we marry.
2. What are the things we must do for our points to be high i.e what can she do to boost her scores and what must I do to also boost ma scores cos I knw her points will also be relatively low cos she doesn't have any work experience..
3. Is there any certification I can take as a programmer within a year that will improve my scores, instead of doing per time Masters for 2 years(I am actually avoiding this Masters cos I know when am through, age would have been against me..
Please I will really appreciate your suggestions and advise on my situation, I have really been thinking about the whole situation and I decided to share it here for suggestions and advises.. Please peeps in ma kind of situation before that have gotten their PPR can also tell me what they did.. Thanks in anticipation. Eraytee has already said all that is necessary. About the course, BCS' Certificate in IT is your best option now. We're into tutorials, and you could sign up with us if you wouldn't like to do the "dreaded" self-study. Kindly check my profile for more deets, or contact 08073375252. Merci. |
