The truth, based on your statement above, is, you still have a lot of work to do. Writing requires patience and sangfroid; and you have to practice in every little way that you can (like here on Nairaland) before you can write lengthier pieces.

In about 3 months after the exams. And one other benefit is the speed of evaluation. They would not waste time at all.

Lol, computer science background? That's a core IT discipline, Sir. People with backgrounds in commercial and arts have passed the exams, with the right strategy.

No Sir. BCS wouldn't tutor you. They encourage self study but recommend that you're tutored by the "right" team.

how much would it cost for the certificate

To become a member - 20 pounds for 1 year; 30 pounds for 4 years.
Exam registration - 40 pounds per module - 120 pounds for the 3 modules.

The total cost will be a maximum of 150 pounds. Of course, exchange rate fluctuations will affect the price in naira. It was about 68,000 during the last session.

It's meant to be an additional certificate to one's BSc. Equivalent to one year only.

Two of my friends also made payments last night using zenith bank and they paid 319k each. I wonder why access bank had to go all the way to 371k as equivalent of 1125 CAD.

What? That's absolutely preposterous, ludicrous, ridiculous and absurd. This hurts me deep down in my heart. Is there a way to call them out or something? On Twitter, perhaps? Because I am certain that they did that for greedy gain!

And just as you have done, others should also share the exchange rates of banks they used for their transactions. I see Zenith, for now, is a goal. Let's help others save some dough.

Sorry about that. I had to browse through BCS website and i was referred to the institution. I believe they are licensed and the authorised body representing them in Nigeria.

Results will be out in July. After which you may proceed with your evaluation. Give or take, you should have the result of that in September.

You can request that someone adds you to a Telegram group for this purpose. But if the materials look so bulky than you can understand or chew, feel free to contact us. We commence tutorials on May 1st for the September 2020 exam session.

I am 7 days late and have a feeling someone must have responded to you. It means the British Computer Society. They are organisers of the now popular certificate in IT exam that myriads are running to, in order to boost CRS points.

Bros why are you stressing yourself, BCS diploma exam is coming up in march, write it and get your certificate by June. That gives you 2 or more certificate ( 33pts extra). Search for @BNTtech to guide you on BCS or use the search bar. Msc na long thing sir.

It's best to commence your planning like yesterday as this journey can be longer than normal for anyone. But since Trudeau is still PM, it's safe to predict that immigration will be on for the next 3/4 years. Yet, anything can happen o.

Please can anyone confirm if Diploma in Institute of Commercial Management (ICM) courses can help to improve my CRS points just like BCS courses. I've seen some adverts online by COMPUNET and others. I just want to confirm if anyone has used WES to evaluate their ICM courses which has resulted in increased CRS points or if you know anyone else that has done this.

I think you should mail WES to find out before you are cajoled into signing up for a course that may not be relevant to this course.

Special thanks to @johnnybravo1990 for helping me ACE IELTS in my first trial. I had fears for writing due to many of the stories I read here so I paid for his coaching. His books broke down ways to tackle each question type in writing and my result above is a testament to this. Thank you once more Johnny, I promised you a 7.5 in writing and I delivered.

Congrats! Sometimes, fear is a good thing in driving you to do the needful. In my case, I converted the fear to madass preparation and aced.

And I'll advise anyone to seek the professional services of a tutor if you feel you are not good enough. If you think you are saving money by not doing so, it may eventually cost you more money (to rewrite) and time.

Affirmative, ma'am. WES would evaluate it as "completion of a college-level certificate (one year)."

And if you check the CRS tool, there's a slot for this.
