Wes mistakenly stated 18/07/1982 on my spouse evaluation report instead of 18/07/1984, pls how should I go about rectifying this mistakes and what documents do I need to send to wes.

From someone's past experience, you need to be sure that the mistake (wrong DOB) wasn't from one of the transcripts/documents sent to WES from one of the institutions. WES will only listen to the original senders through whom the documents (with error) originally came. However, chasing this error correction may delay your application further (assuming you are ready to apply).

And WES can be obstinate; what if after you do all you can and they don't budge? This is where you need to submit your ECA as it is to CIC, write an LOE, support it with documents letting them know that there is/was a mistake from WES and you tried to get them to correct it but they didn't (attach email thread). You may now also need to add a sworn affidavit of your Spouse's confirmation of date of birth, her birth certificate, her passport data page, and multiple documents (with her correct DOB) that would support your submission with evidence.

This was the experience of the "someone's past experience" I mentioned earlier, and paragraph 2 was how their situation went, and they are in Canada today.

No, it's not necessary. The PDF file is all you need.

This is where obtaining an additional certificate comes in. There are many options from which you can choose, and which you can do in 6 months or less. I'm mostly knowledgeable about the BCS CIT; the next exam comes up in April (too late for you) & the next after that in October (all things being equal). The other I know is CIMA.

You can do more research on both, so that you can decide on which you want to do in the least possible time and at a cost you can afford. Also, be sure that you don't already have a certificate that WES can equally evaluate before going ahead to do a new one. All the best.

Not planning to write the exams soonest, only just want to take out time to prepare for it.
It's not really needed to boost my CRS as only a Ph.D can add any more points on my education.

Sorry ehn. Please, relax. Keep living your life like it doesn't depend on this relocation plan. It helps you focus on the now. I know people who have taken this advice, and as a result, got married, didn't hold back in having their child here (even though this wasn't the original plan), etc.

Please, try to live your life and still put your trust in whomever you believe in. Don't lose your health to worrying that will not expedite this process.

I'm asking cause someone mentioned here that if mention that he has work experience while creating an EE profile, when I receive ITA I will have to provide documentation for it.

Your budget should be a max of £165 for both membership and exams registration costs. Depending on the membership type chosen, it will cost you either £155 or £165 to sit for the exams. There was a time that students paid an equivalent of 70k NGN or less for this exam, and it's over 100k today due to forex rates. Sad.

This might be a late reply, but no. You only need a certificate such as that to claim additional CRS points under the two or more certificates category. Hope this helps.

I've learnt that the only accredited company licensed to do BCS in Nigeria is Compunet... I'll advise everyone to follow through with them to avoid story that touches... I've learnt my lessons dealing with fake people who claims to do training and conduct BCS exams...

Hi Mike. To the best of my knowledge, professional certificates won't get you additional certificate points. Only the HEQ Levels 4 - 6 will.

I'd say yes. If you aren't losing points due to age soon, I don't think you have anything to worry about. However, if you feel like you can boost, do so.

Is it possible...? Not impossible, but no one can give you that assurance on this thread.

Hi. Never mentioned anything about WhatsApp. If you need anything of value as regards BCS resources and peer groups, Telegram is where you need to be. It takes nothing to get an account.

Use the CRS tool to determine that. The scores are not fixed. For instance, it's 33, for a single less than 30, it maybe different for a married person.

Results, about 3 months after. Certs & transcripts, not cast in stone. But within 4 weeks, max, after the results are released.

Online/virtual. Although we have a physical location for little administrative activities, we only operate online; a good decision we made since pre-covid which led to zero disruption of our class activities during the lockdown last year, protests, and all. Imagine we were so bent on doing physical classes alone.
