pseudonomer: You may not write off screening entirely this year cos the sch councillor that interacted with parents on putume exam day was categorical that there will be screening this year and said screening was called off last year because of the strike which impacted heavily on the school academic time table I av her speech recorded but mb cant be uploaded here. |

amhackdee: Amhackdee your chance for banking na gobe ooh but pray u may b given anoda course. 65 was admitted in 1st putume. Vacancy left is 100-65= 35 127 students frm lagos state out which 82 scored 45% and above. Even if capacity increased to 150 all d 82 students from lag dat score 45% plus cant be admitted. Cut off is likely to be 55% for lag and this will admit 20pple and dey may not admit pple from otherstates. If other states will b considered assuming 55% is cut of for lag students only 15pple can be admitted. out of 605 total students from other state 24 scored 60% and above and can only be accommodated if capacity is increased to 150. pple dat score 53% ranked btw 119 to 137 position on the list and can only get admission if capacity is increased to 300 which is not possible cos it will be against NUC directives So keep praying u get admitted in other Dept |

Ellemuah: Only 5 was admitted in first putume for econs education leaving at least 95 vacancies for 2nd putume students. 24 students from lagos States highest score 65% and lowest score 32% lets say wt magomago all lag 24 are admitted cos only 16 score 45% plus. Other States vacancies will be (95-24) =71 2 pple score 62% and ranked 6th okwumabua paul chuks and 7th famaye TOLULOPE paula both are sure of admission. Lagos students total 49 with 32% lowest score if all 49 are admitted Vacancy for other States is (88-49) which is 39 spaces. Since you ranked 5th on d list with 67% score. furetin: Putting such money for bank without any yield doesn't make gud financial mgt sense cos u wil be given the bank free money to trade. If you are d risk averse type u can invest it fixed income money mkt instruments that guarantee return e.g 30days call or fixed deposit etc. However someone like me as a risk taker the money will propel me trade in commodities with the money and turn it around. I can start with pure water and other consumables no shame here cos shit money no dey smell Last line, it doesnt worth it reacting to Ryota post on ds thread cos she has no locust stàndi to be here as she claims shes admitted to uniben and am sure she can get lots of friends shes looking for here at Benin or uniben thread. For sure u are not God and from all your free advisory post on this thread you av never arrogate being God to yourself. God will reward you for your free consultancy and selfless service to eligthen aspirants on this thread because you wish them good and want them become lasuite as yourself. As much as God is a miracle worker we cant force him to do unjust miracle. He has given us wisdom to apply to our situations. If lasu admission standard is on merit and the system is transparent as it is we dont expect someone on the tail end of the list with lowest mark to be admitted before those who score higher and on top of the list. As the result is out doing analysis on it to boost the faith of those who didnt do too well is not bad. This will give them hope to intensify prayer. Continue your good work many and myself have benefited from free knowledge and information you shared on this thread and we are solidly behind you. You know jesus christ did nothing and yet they shouted crucify him! Crucify him! Crucify him! But alas he was justified by the father so that scriptures can be fulfilled. At least your mind will be settled that you are unjustly denied and not because you performed below expectations. This will spur you on to increase your performance and exercise free will to try anoda university and you did in funaab and God ordained your admission. Thats taking a calculated risk and not going to war as blind. Colmas aspirants will be taken uncalculated risk and being blind folded in war front. You go into a game where you av 50% chance or probability of winning but funaab colmas admission is more of zerosum game in which admission had been skewed towards predite and Fmp. Good Funaab offered you want OAU supposedly denied you because we dont have statistics or empirical facts to back up your claimed cos its likely the cut off was increased due to competition. My son in funaab experience same in unilag in 2010 after scoring 72 he was denied based on state quota and i insisted he chose funaab and he was admitted. Its God that ordain the steps of man and he will direct our steps to where our dream will be realised. Lesson here is dont let any system frustrate you.don't stay in one place try ad many possible options till u realize your dream |

Damex333: I wonder why u looking for every opportunity to dump more mud on funaab. Funaab s no saint in admission runs, neither s any school in Nigeria, not even your highly credited lasu. You must be talking from an un-informed position and may be you av not been following trends and my past contributions on this thread. If you do a comparative analysis of admission procedure btw lasu and funaab you will know that though lasu may not be immuned from imperfections but lasu system is more transparent and objective. We av empirical facts from jamb reg posted on this thread that pple who scored higher are unjustly denied admission and those with lower putume and composite are given admission. A standard set must be uniformly applied to all the faculties for it to be objective and av integrity. Why calving a separate and unknown admission rule for Colmas and many brilliant students are frustrated. Mind you i av a son going to 300L in funaab coleng and he was admitted on merit first batch. My bliv in Funaab system which av been defending everywhere is what makes me to persistently chose the school for my 2nd son going for Colmas study.. No rule says u should tied your destiny to an institutions that av compromised their own standard when you av alternative you should avail your self. Not taken such alternative opportunities will be irrational and amount to stupidity. Am not praising one school over the other cos all universities in naija has minimum benchmark to uphold as set by NUC in terms of course curriculum and admission requirements. So when we critise and do a comparative analysis this is done objectively in constructive manner devoid of sentiments and on empirical facts. Am sure once beating is twice shy and those colmas aspirant that want to chose funaab nxt year will think twice. Happy new month and independent anniversary |

Many dunmp courses offered them from ds college a reference point is bimfo a mechanic given ppsp and i know a gal who dump this course for lasu and she has a brighter chance to read pure maths@ lasu. |

Bimfo: List is yet to be out but he has chance of gaining admission without senate runs. 1st putme admitted only 20 students for pub Admin. 2nd putme he scored Among the first 9 on other states. If they use 45% as cut off for lag students they will admit 27 mkn a total of 47 students so no how they wont admit studentd frm other states that score between 64 and 58 wch are jez 10 students. So he has a brighter chance. Keep u posted |

V SPLITS: Please is there any hope for someone with 44 percnt as aggregate going for geography? Split it be like say i know u. All d same lemmie analyse your chances of admission. First putume 18 students admitted leaving a vacancy of 82 for students. Lagos state students for 2nd putume are 11 wt highest score of 64 and lowest score of 40%. 2 pple tally at 47% above ur 44% score. Other state students total 63 with highest score of 64 and lowest score of 37% 3 pple tally at 44% bfr 37 lowest score. Assumed cut of is 40% for lag state and all d 11 students admitted this will leave (82-11) = 71 vacancy left for other states students. Total number of students from other states is 63 less than 71 vacancies left. Split you have a chance and all other states students to be admitted and 8 vacancies will still be left to admit students who could not meet up in other Dept within d faculty because lasu needs money and would not want to under utilse capacity.
