Hello guyz! I was just offered admission by UNAAB, today, and I have already gained admission at LASU. The issue now is: how do I reject that of LASU cos it"s already showing on JAMB's Portal?

Leg pass leg. I av confirmed that your name came out from VC list and you were notified via SMS as well as others instead of the usual admission portal.

Enjoy your admission!

Lasu aspirants don't lose hope admission is on till January if you know the genuine way as sum1 mentioned earlier that Vc and oga at the top unpublished list will still favour some people.

Am still a doubting Thomas in this case so you may give us a screen shot of your admission letter or your jamb reg now for confirmation

Borrowing to build is a sign of discontentment and laziness. Very bad attributes if you ask me.

To say borrowing is a sign if discontentment and laziness shows that lack knowledge if financial management or finance.

Countries borrows e.g USA, big corporation borrows to finance expansion and assets acquisition which will boost revenue that will pay back the loan overtime. Am sure you can say USA is lazy and discontented as well of big corporations.

If borrowing is a taboo or sign of laziness there won't be various types of bank and financial institutions to finance country development and industrial growth.

Check the balance sheet of most big companies in Nigeria you will come to term with the fact that borrowing is not laziness or sign of discontentment because using high debt capital results to growth for the companies through the concept of FINANCIAL LEVERAGE. once your rate of return is higher than your cost of borrowing you are good to go to borrow.

Many workers borrowed to build houses in their place of work and repay from salary over 5yrs and this improve their lot.

Interesting, this man is quite open, nothing to hide. The lowest amount in his account is 1milla, the highest only him, his account officer and Oga at the top knows.

I don't seems to understand why logic is absent in this argument. It is expected that bank accounts are not fixed but fluid or changes over time. So the word at least used by GMB is most appropriate. We should not expect him to say specifically he has 1m NGN when tomorrow the amount he has in his bank account could go up genuinely from legal income which can be verified by anti corruption agencies when the need arise.

GMB did the right thing to say the minimum amount that could be traced to his bank account is 1M naira.

Although , I am fully in support of GMB candidature this time around , however , I think he should do himself justice by limiting his public utterances , especially like on this subject under discussion here . Most of us know him too well , thus we can be provoked into revealing the secrets about his financial worth nay how he enriched himself during his saddles in the previous political posts he held .

Yes , he does not have his loots directly under his name , but we know his proxies that hold his investment trusts world all over .

And what are u waiting for? Reveal his secret wealth and the proxies but be ready to face litigation if you can not substantiate your claim with evidential facts

Irrespective of the divide you belong APC, PDP, SDP, UPN or English grammar party EGP as some are trying to claim I sabi English pass on this kind platform where post are hurriedly made without proof reading in most cases and as such makes no one insulated from what to me is inadvertent grammatical error which could be avoided in an official working atmosphere.

All the roforofo fights, abuses and mudslidings on NL will not bring GEJ or GMD to power come 2015 without you taking steps to ensure that you have your PVC to vote your right choice of candidate in full power of franchise given to you by the constitution of Nigeria. may I ask have you registered and or collect your permanent voters card?

It doesn't make a good intellectual debate when personalities are attacked instead of issues as its seen on NL.

Using uncouth language and abusing parents to canvass view shows the level of moral decadence in Nigeria of today.

the priceread error is inadvertent and its android touch pad error. unless you are smarter the device will mess you up. At times I quickly modify my post after reading over and I notice such error.

this does not suggest I don't pass olevel English or use of English in the university.

why trying to bully the guy, this is not a professional forum where English is of importance once you get the import of the message forget the grammar.

It is a common trend in a social media like this for post to be made in slangs and abbreviated text form and besides the androids phone devices do play a smart one on us if you are not observant your rightly typed words are replaced. so I don't see the cry about grammar here, its common among younger folks of university age to use slangs and abbreviated text as a means of expression which I as an adult have to come to terms with while chatting with this age group on social online platforms.
I have come to learn this:
sup = what's up
rep = represents
and many of such short form of expressions so why trying to hammer the guy as disgrace to Oau? take the message and leave the grammar

Are you a student of that noble institution? What is bood and convoil? Its never too late to pick a copy of Queens Premier or Brighter Grammar.

why chasing shadow bros. the message is well clear and not ambiguous. methinks the mistake is inadvertent because our android phone touch pads behave funny by changing your spelling in predictive mode.

be that as it may this is not a professional forum grammar is a yardstick because abbrevative text and slangs are a common features of communication on social media like this.

no one is inffalible to grammatical mistake so take it cool Bros and stop messing OAU graduate. I rep OOU and ICAN not OAU

Are you just knowing about this? Then you haven't

Konga or Jumia and start shopping, update your
shopping list as fast as you can.
: - What is Black Friday?
Black Friday is a (Friday) Day that Stores/Shop
around the world offers their items at discount
prices. The items price reduce at the discount price
which the store gives. Sometimes you can get an
item at up to 80% discount off.
Like last year, there are discount on every items
categories, best deal on PS4 at Konga, there is also
some deals on mobile phones, fashion, kitchen
equipments and phone accessories etc.
: - Details on Konga Black Friday Deals:
Konga is said to offer a much discount and sell
much more this year. Last year, PS4 sell so fast that
they had to doubled the maximum number of
sales. Last year konga offer PS4 for N60,000 from
original price of N80,000+.
Konga said this year will be a biggest Black Friday,
konga will offer a much number of sale on
Computers, Phones (Electronic in General) with
high discount rates this up coming Black Friday,
this is because of high demand of electronic in last
year Black Friday sales.
Konga also offer a Free Shipping on all purchase of
N5,000 and above.
According to one of Konga post, they also offer a
way of getting best deals out of the Black Friday
Sales.
Below is the steps from Konga Blog Post.
Here are a few shopping tips for getting the best
deals possible:
•Download the Android app or iOS app on your
mobile device so you are ready to order the hottest
deals as they are no matter where you are.
•Create your wish list, by saving items in your
shopping cart before the sales event.
•Create a Konga account and update it with delivery
address and other details.
•Keep your fingers crossed! This is going to be the
most amazing sales event this year!
: - Details on Jumia Black Friday Deals:
No much explanation on Jumia BF Deals but am
able to get some information about what to expect
on jumia deals.
According to a post from Jumia web page, they list
some items with expected discount price. Below is
the list:
•iPad Mini at N29,999.
•Samsung S5 at N41,500.
•PS4 + Fifa 15 CD at N60,000.
•Blackberry Passport at N64,500.
•Blackberry Z10 phones N18,200.
And much much more items with ridiculous
discount rates.
According to this list which were all electronics,
this means that electronics will also get the highest
discount rates this year at Jumia.
Expected more discount rate on your favorite items
starting from Friday (Tomorrow) at Konga or
Jumia.
Note:- please be smart and ready, a fast network is
highly recommended, cause a fast finger is a lucky
finger in Black Friday Sale, millions of people are
waiting for this day and once it comes, they'll start
buying and you might not meet your item in store
again later in the day. That's why you need to start
right now and save all your items to your chart.
Happy Shopping & Happy Thanksgiving Day.
Cheers..

Sorry but your explanation won't make sense to him, too dumb to know multiple registration is a criminal offense

why missing the point registration of party members is different from registration with INEC to get PVC permanent voters card which qualifies one to vote.

I don't see the correlation with any purported APC card carrying members registration, verification and validation have on Inec registeration of eligible Nigerians to vote

Myself and many Nigerians are not card carrying members of any political party and registered with InEC and will vote. so it is expected that total vote cast will always surpass membership of any political party and it will be illogical to use party registered members population to rig election. what ever internal manipulation done by any of the party may holds sway in their primary election and not the general election and methinks DSS have no bizness mendling in internal parties affairs.

The DSS may have huge task to provide evidence in court that APC want to hack INEC website since they are not cut in the act and INEC site is yet to be hacked.

what we are witnessing Under GEJ is worse than that witnessed in a military regime as on bastardization of our Democratic Institutions.

God will deliver us from our leaders repobate minds.

I can now confirm your research that those names are admitted to other university. I forgot to save the list containing the names on my laptop from my phone.

I can also confirm that all lag students in pub admin with 45% plus were admitted including Anibaba Ronke Angel with 44% score.

let me assume same applies to other department.

thanks we are in it together I will reconfirm cos I ran a search on other list too before coming out.

you may as well test a sample from other dept if all lag indigenous students with 45% score and above where actually admitted.
I am actually limited by time but not a bad academic exercise.

i await your test outcome with empirical facts

one thing we can't take away is the subjectivity of this process. E.g top on the list of pub admin other states was given economics admission which was not advertised in 2nd putume. its a fact you can verify..

[quote author=0coded80 post=28282359]

from my research I find out that all indigine that got 45 was admitted for all course on merit, cause lasu is a state sch for lagos indigine,

when I posited earlier in my post that the admission process was lopsided and skewed out some lag student who merit admission.

The first paragraph of your post disapprove of my claim and you averred that all lag students with 45% score and above were given admission.

let's research together still using pub admin as case study cos that's where I rep.

it is surprising to note that the following lag student with higher score were not admitted using a sample of 1st to 15th students on the list.

no 1 on result list Baruwa Azeez Olaide 60%

no 2 on result list Rahaman ololade Aduke 59%
no 5 on result list Nosiru Leila teniola 57%
no 7 on result list Solomon Noah oluwatobi 56%
no 9 on result list Egbeyemi Hassan Olakunle 55%
no 11 on result list gbewa sesede rebekhar 54%

Am sure if time permits to research other dept such injustice to Lagos state students denied admission on merit abounds.

coded 80 confirm my research and revert to the thread. many thanks.

this analytical research becomes imperative to guide future decision by aspiring students not to rely on merit alone be it indigene or not and go to sleep as you earlier stated that Oyo people did and were all skewed out while others dey runs the admission with between 20k to 100k.

it shall be well with admission wounded students

amen and same to u, dis situation has being happening since lasu started writing pume,I knw of a 2nd pume aspirant last 3years and got 77% percent and he was admitted. And again lasu can't do without writing 2nd pume even 3rd pume sometime cause it a way of making money for them. Even if 100,000 aspirants apply to write their 1st pume they will still advertise for 2nd pume, it a normal nature in lasu. And those that got admission by manipulation in this just release list pay between #20,000 to #100,000 and this is a normal nature in lasu so lasu management don't see it as a big-deal.

we now know better. many thanks. folks shine your eyes when lasu advertise 2nd or 3rd putume.
