Politics › Re: I Am Impressed With Tinubu First Appointments by Bobloco: 7:55am On May 30, 2023 |
Devil1Messenger: So President Tinubu made first set of appointments yesterday and i am well impressed. The popular attack dogs we were expecting like Festus keyamo, FFK and Bayo Onanuga (the three foolish men) were not even considered good enough to be appointted as his spokesman despite all the hate dey spread. I guess their job is done and they will be considered for other unimportant roles.
Dada olusegun appointed as digital media adviser was among those always criticising and abusing tinubu then, and he is a Buhari supporter. In 2011, he was all out against Tinubu. He was among the first set of people to call Tinubu a drug pusher back in 2010/11. He contested for APC national youth leader and he was asked to step down for isreal dayo (he was the guy that cried on stage at the APC national convention last year). Nice compensation. As an OBIdient, i am more relevant and useful to Tinubu than those agbadorians licking his pampers 😂
The third guy is relatively unknown on this our social media space.
Once again, congratulations to them
The road to recover our stolen mandate hasn't been more clearer now. See you in all court There are many appointments to go round, so they're still hopeful |

This is where the problem lies, there have never been sincerity on the part of govt on what is being paid as subsidy |

bobchigar: PERCEIVED FUEL SUBSIDY REMOVAL
In order to prevent or alleviate potential hardship on citizens, the government must take proactive measures among which is suggested below:
1.While the government is yet to declare total removal of subsidy, the government should send the task force across the country to check the activities of those petrol marketers that have started hoarding the petrol product.
2. Before the announcement of total removal of fuel subsidy, the government should make sure that they provide transportation services at a reduced price. The government should procure buses to be operated at a reduced price by the government at all tiers of government. This transportation services should be made available to ply within town, towns to towns and interstates.
3. Before total removal of petrol subsidy, the government should ensure that the rail system that have been revived by the last administration is working at maximum capacity and at a reduced price.
4. Before the government should consider total removal of petrol subsidy, the government should ensure that it make water transport vessels available for the riverine parts of country that uses water means of transportation.
5. The government should also partner with Dangote refinery to make sure that preference is given to local purchase of the petrol product.
I hope these suggestions will assist the government to profer solutions to issue of subsidy removal that if not properly handled, it may create bad impression in the minds of citizens.
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. This is what a right thinking government should do |

Alexiiydon: how will it happen without refinery think oga or is everybody from the east that dumb?? You are actually the dumb one bro the government has about three refineries, what is stopping the government from fixing those refineries. Dangote just built a new refinery, was subsidy stopped before he built it. What has changed during Jonathan regime and now that made Tinubu and his ilks to support subsidy removal now because they vehemently went against it during Goodluck Jonathan regime, so, I asked again what has changed. |

Politics › Niger: Newly Sworn-in Governor Orders Police Station Demolition by Bobloco(op): 4:53pm On May 29, 2023 |
The Niger State Governor, Mohammed Bago, has announced plans to demolish the Chanchaga police station in Minna. Bago made this declaration during his inaugural speech at the trade fair complex in Minna on Monday. Bago announced that the first assignment he is handing out is to mark the police station for demolition which would be carried out on a yet-to-be-determined date. He expressed concerns that the police station was obstructing the water pipeline and stated that it would be marked for demolition immediately after the inauguration. “Priority will be given to portable drinking water, as we leave this venue, we have a police station sitting on our water pipeline, we will mark it for demolition because we must provide portable drinking water for our people”. He reassured the public of his administration’s commitment to tackling insecurity in the state. He emphasized the urgency and gravity of the matter, pledging to uphold the constitutional principle of security and ensure the protection of lives and property. He also assured the people that his administration will tackle insecurity in the state with the intensity and urgency it deserves adding that his administration will give premium to security and protection of lives and properties. “Security is a serious matter and we will tackle it with the intensity and urgency it deserves as enshrined in our constitution therefore we shall boldly defend that constitutional tenet and ensure that security will be given premium in our administration”. Governor Bago further emphasized that his administration would depart from previous practices, promising a departure from the norm and a fresh approach to governance. He stated that it would not be “business as usual, but rather business unusual.” Furthermore, the governor expressed his intention to empower the youth by announcing that 90 per cent of his cabinet would be comprised of young individuals. https://punchng.com/niger-newly-sworn-in-governor-orders-police-station-demolition/?amp |
