Then who amongst the other candidates get closer to that in terms of achievements in their respective state or their past position?

This time answer properly
None, absolutely none

Reason why I said Tinubu is the least qualified

None of the other candidates is a notorious Narcotic drug trafficker the city of Chicago Conakry has ever known

None of the other candidates is enmeshed in identify theft and educational controversies

None constructed a conduit pipe from the state government purse to his personal company

None have his wife made a perpetual senator of the federal republic of Nigeria

None is engaged in criminal state capture in the manner Tinubu has done

Looking at arrays of aspirants who contested for the office of the president, in all ramifications, Tinubu is the least qualified

What did he even do in Lagos State?

The only thing he did is to construct a conduit pipe from the state government purse to his personal company Alpha Beta

All that is being bandied around as Tinubu legacies in lagos are the works of other governors who came after him

PoliticsUS Moves To Strengthen Justice System In Nigeria by Bobloco(op): 7:41am On Apr 29, 2023
The Director, International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INLEA) of the United States Embassy, Nigeria, Mr Jason Smith, has said that they are strengthening the justice system sector in Kaduna, Nasarawa and Plateau states for a stable and secure Nigeria.

He said this yesterday in Abuja at a workshop to build the capacity of Court Administration and Case Management Projects, for judicial officers in the three states, organised by the Public and Private Development Centre (PPDC) with sponsorship from the US government.

He said the US government is working for a functional justice system in Nigeria and to increase access to justice, adding that a stable Nigeria will translate into a stable Africa and the world at large.

Smith said it is the desire of the United States for a true justice system in Nigeria and that if the project succeeds in Kaduna, Nasarawa and Plateau states, they will scale it up to other states.

“Having a stable, secured country everywhere in the world is important to the US. We are helping our partners here to have a functional criminal justice system and improve access to justice. Our goal is to help ourselves by helping you to deal with the challenges Nigeria faces, domestic challenges, regional and global challenges,” Smith said.

The PPDC Board Chairman, Chibuzor Ekwekwo, who commended the selected states for the partnership, said that if Nigeria must get it right, the justice system must work well.

PoliticsAgain, FG Postpones Census by Bobloco(op): 7:14am On Apr 29, 2023
The Federal Government has once again postponed the 2023 Population and Housing Census.

A credible source who spoke with Daily Trust Saturday said the decision was made yesterday after a meeting between President Muhammadu Buhari and the Chairman of National Population Commission (NPC), Nasir Isa Kwarra.

The source, who does not want his name in print as he was not authorised to speak with the media, said the postponement was made due to the challenges the commission is facing to seamlessly carry out the exercise.

While he did not disclose the challenges to our reporter, the commission had previously suspended the training of adhoc staff who would carry out population count due to finance and logistic issues.

But when asked if a new date has been fixed, he said he can’t reveal it as the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, will make a broadcast on it today.

Recall that the Census was earlier scheduled for March 27 but was shifted to May 3 due to the earlier postponement of the gubernatorial elections.

Also, the chairman of the commission had on Thursday, during a meeting with the diplomatic corps in Abuja, stated that the commission was yet to get all the devices needed to carry out the census, noting that some devices will be procured in a few days’ time.

“For the country, we require up to 800,000 PADs, so far, we have procured about 500,000. The remaining are coming in a few days’ time,” he said.

On the donations for the census by the private sector and other key stakeholders, he said “But you know the way they operate; it is not as if the money will come like that. They have to talk with their own government and look at their budget. So, that process is ongoing. But we cannot say any money has come in. It is a process, and the process is unfolding.”

According to the source, the NPC chairman was accompanied to the State House by Dr Ipalipo Harry, NPC’s Rivers State Federal Commissioner; Dr Abdulmalik Durunguwa, NPC’s Kaduna State Federal Commissioner; Tellson Osifo Ojogun, the Director General of NPC and Ms. Evelyn Olanipekun, NPC’s Director of Census.

Politics2023: We Won, Your Party Stole Our Victory, LP Replies Buhari by Bobloco(op): 9:50pm On Apr 28, 2023
…blames violence, institutional manipulation for outcome of elections

The Labour Party has faulted claims by President Muhammadu Buhari that opposition parties lost the 2023 general elections due to over confidence, complacency and bad tactics.

The party described the president’s views as expressed by his Senior Special Assistant (Media), Mallam Garba Shehu, as unpresidential and disturbing.

This was contained in a statement signed by the party’s Acting National Publicity Secretary, Obiora Ifoh, in Abuja, on Friday.

The LP noted that the President’s statement was another desperate attempt by the ruling party to seek validation for the electoral fraud which it now celebrates as victory.

Ifoh said, “We want to point it out clearly to President Muhammadu Buhari that his position on the outcome of the said election was untrue, and it is not a true reflection of what played out during the election.

“There are several reasons why opposition political parties lost the 2023 election; the first is that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC snubbed the electoral act wherein it failed to upload the result from the polling unit in real time as promised and in disregard to the laws guiding the election. The INEC by so doing, created room for that election to be rigged.

“Again, the current APC president elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu didn’t win the election, because the said election, particularly, the presidential election was manipulated and rigged beyond comprehension.

“So, political parties didn’t loose election because of over confidence or complacency as proffered by Mr. President, APC in collaboration with the various government agencies simply rigged the election and rigged themselves into power.

“Let me remind Mr. President of the magnitude of violence, ballot snuffing, snatching and manipulations of result from the collation centres using security agencies, which included police, army amongst others as well as thugs to manipulate elections in favour of the ruling party.

“Recently, we saw the show of shame that took place in Adamawa. What played out in Adamawa was a microcosym of what played out in all over the states during February 25 and March 18 elections in Nigerian.

“Why the case of Adamawa was given huge publicity and attention was because of the involvement of an INEC National commissioner who was a victim, thus forcing INEC to take prompt action.

“From Lagos to Rivers, from north to southern parts of the country, all over, violence characterised that election. In most cases, some agents and supporters were not allowed access to the polling units.”

He further said, “All of these put together, do they amount to over confidence and complacency on the part of the opposition party?

“It shows that the President who promised Nigerians that he was going to give Nigerians a free, fair and credible election simply failed in his duty in giving Nigerians the election they deserved.

“The 2023 general election is the worst election the country ever had since the current republic; since 1999 to date. The 2023 general election is the worst ever as reported by virtually all the international observers and communities.

“In fact, the election took Nigeria back to the days of First and Second republics where political thugs, where violence and thuggery characterised politics and election.

“So Mr. President is completely wrong. I believe that he was ill advised. It was erroneous for him to say that opposition parties lost election because of over confidence.

Ifoh insisted that “Labour Party won the election but it was brazenly stolen by APC. Mr. President is aware of the fact that APC did not win the election and that it was stolen.”
