Yes Lagos is a yorubaland and igbos can overdo things sometimes. But oba was wrong to threaten igbos even though they are their host. Igbo is still Nigeria, the obs cannot even threaten an American like that in Lagos so why would he threaten a fellow Nigerian? Everybody has the right to vote for a candidate of his choice, and its not as if agbaje is Igbo, he is Yoruba for crying out loud.

The igbos are immigrants in Lagos, but they are not slaves. They pay tax and bills and and participate on the growing commerce in the state. The oba didn't have to address them as slaves.

Nobody says what the Oba said was right.. Even tho he can can whatever he likes but not in that manner... The fact remains that the Igbo shud know that Lagos is not thiers and it will never be. They have more to gain than loose if they comport themseives in a civilized manner...

I am not surprised at what came out of our Oba of Lagos. Is this the way APC wants to rule Nigeria? Hatred, division and winning election at all cost by threatening people. It is good that President Jonathan has left the throne for them. Lets see where this show of shame will take Nigeria to. They have not been sworn in at national level, things have been falling apart!
