Politics / Re: Buhari: Civil Servants Do Most Of The Work, Ministers Make A Lot Of Noise by bobolic: 5:05pm On Sep 16, 2015
Insult him all you like but we shall all play this game according to his rules. A small example of the experience of the defunct USSR will show that the man who gave that country the most development was Josef Stalin, one of the greatest dictators that ever lived.
Crime / Re: India Cops Arrest Nigerian Involved In Mango Seed Fraud by bobolic: 4:54pm On Sep 16, 2015

He has said it again. The authorities concerned, like Ms Ogar must do the needful.

Politics / Re: Seun Kuti:I Wil Not Vote For Buhari Because Of What He Did 2 My Father 31yrs Ago by bobolic: 10:12am On Jan 13, 2015
Seun you have only one vote. The man will win fair and square without that your vote. The truth is that sentiments aside, he is the only candidate of hope in this election.
Politics / Re: Photos: Nigerian Heads Of State From Independence Till Date (1960-2014) by bobolic: 1:06pm On Oct 02, 2014
Abacha. The strongest.
Sports / Re: Emenike Threatens To Quit Super Eagles by bobolic: 11:47am On Oct 02, 2014
Emenike should swallow his pride and keep quiet. How many goals did he score in the World Cup?
Was he not given sufficient leverage?
Must everything turn personal? He is not the only Nigerian professional abroad and so he can leave when he chooses.
Nairaland / General / Re: Who Is Your Nigeria Hero: Past And Present? by bobolic: 11:33am On Oct 02, 2014
GENERAL SANI ABACHA. GREAT SON OF AFRICA

Much too expensive for your journey into oblivion.
Religion / Re: Nigerian Pilgrims Abscond In Israel by bobolic: 9:41pm On Dec 03, 2013
IDIOTS. I wonder what they think they will benefit from that small country with its high cost of living and spy network. I blame greedy Nigerian leaders who loot our money and stash it away in foreign lands for this mess. If the money that Nigeria made from crude oil alone, not to talk of LNG, Custom duties, sale of government companies and houses, from 1999 to date was well used to the comfort of citizens, no one would even think of going to Israel. For a good measure, we can make our version of those sites here in Nigeria.I wish them a hard time when they are arrested.
Education / Re: Uniben Pulls Out Of ASUU Strike by bobolic: 9:22pm On Dec 03, 2013
CONGRATULATIONS UNIBEN. Well reputed and world class universities will continue to cater for their students and teachers strike or no strike. If there are no reagents and apparatuses in some universities, it is either that they were not supplied or misused. Federal universities will continue to do well if properly managed. ASUU has lost its goodwill and we must accept it. Those universities that we are forced to take our children to in Ghana and other neighbouring countries are not better than federal universities in Nigeria.
Education / Re: EBSU Withdraws From ASUU Strike - School Registrar, Mr. Sam Egwu by bobolic: 11:56pm On Nov 26, 2013
Bravo. The old men will soon discover that they have wasted all this time for nothing. You cannot force the system to change overnight. Other state universities should follow this excellent example.
Politics / Re: Biafran Zionist Movement Sends "500 Military Personel" To Israel To Train by bobolic: 11:51pm On Nov 26, 2013
Kano governor is wise. Wish all governors were so progressive. For those still clamoring for war, let them read Achebe's last book at least twice over. It is not a worthwhile venture. They will fail. Their people will suffer and die for nothing.
Politics / Re: Christopher Kolade Resigns As SURE-P Chairman! by bobolic: 10:51pm On Nov 25, 2013
This man should not have been given the job in the first place. He was too old and too conservative to adequately handle such an agency in today's Nigeria. In a less politically charged Nigeria, one would have suggested Pat Utomi for the job. But will the PDP agree? Remember that Buhari , who headed the PTF was appointed by Abacha, who announced the coup that overthrew him. He not only agreed to serve, but did very well. Who shall we call forward now? Onosode? Dafinone? Clark? Tompolo or who?
Education / Re: Students Burn-down Asa Block At IMT In Enugu To Avoid Malpractice Punishment by bobolic: 11:57am On Nov 15, 2013
Nitwits.the invigilators have their names. How do they hope to escape?
Education / Re: ASUU Leaders Chase Kogi Governor Away From Hospital by bobolic: 2:34pm On Nov 14, 2013
SHAME. These old men should have behaved in a more mature manner. It was an accident not so? No other person lost his life. The man was hypertensive on top of it. We should not give room to sentiments all the time.
Romance / Re: Ugly Girls Have Better Guys, WHY? by bobolic: 10:55pm On Nov 10, 2013
You see nature is very bountiful. What one misses in one place,he/she gets it elsewhere. These women with ugly faces are well endowed elsewhere.
Politics / Re: Gowon - God Took Abacha, Abiola Away To Save Nigeria by bobolic: 10:02pm On Nov 10, 2013
God took away Abacha to punish us. The leaders who came after him have not done much with the money available to them. I know that Primary education was better during his time than now. PTF did better than whatever FERMA and SURE P can do. The railways rehabilitation was moving faster. Abuja became a reality when he moved everybody there. The exchange rate of naira to foreign currencies was better. Yet he never sold oil for up to $14 a barrel. The American senator who insulted Nigerians recently would have been too scared to try it during his time. You see we must endure military dictatorships once in a while, to move forward. Modern Russia would never have seen development if not for Stalin and his 5 year development plans. Yet he was a man of iron if there ever was one.Nigeria in the past 14 years has been a story of waste and great suffering of citizens in the midst of plenty. Yet we are in a democracy. Can the 7 governors meet freely in this democracy?

Na lie. He has too little time left. But for a start is it not better to rebuild the burnt Jos market? The market has spilled into the road, making it difficult to pass through several streets.

Politics / Re: Jega: 2015 Elections Will Hold In January Or February by bobolic: 6:33pm On Oct 13, 2013
It does not really matter when they are held. But Mr Jega please don't ever use NYSC members for this exercise again. It is usually done by Primary and Secondary schools in those localities. Did you do anything spectacular by using them and professors? Nigerian politicians are too desperate to win, to have young men and women whose parents have spent so much on, to be wasted like happened the last time.
Education / Re: SSANU Suspends Its Week-long Strike by bobolic: 6:24pm On Oct 13, 2013
The strikes are all about money, not the national interest.

Car Talk / Re: Tariff On Imported Tokunbo Cars Raised by bobolic: 9:17pm On Oct 04, 2013
It never worked before and it will not work even now.The government will not get the revenue but the markets will still be flooded. You must count 1 before 2. Is the climate ripe for the production of cars in Nigeria or it just the importation of brand new ones that you are talking about?
Education / Re: Osun Begins 4-5-3 Educational System, collapses Pry, Secondary Schools by bobolic: 2:41pm On Oct 02, 2013
Some of these governors blazing a solo trail will only lead their people into confusion. How many years has that man got in office that he is making a policy that is so different from that of the Federal Government?

I do not agree that the fight went from 100 to 0 after Ribadu. Kindly remember that Igbinidion, George and Ibru, were jailed under Waziri. The courts are to blame for the frustration that woman faced.
