No, the source did not. Stated that everyone will be paid in batches according to the dates the interview took place. As for APLS, mails will be sent out to only successful candidates, not letters.

Chairman of all sources. Me think you can only get notification of APL by sms/email or both.. But APL are to be sent in envelopes. It needed to be signed not some automated signatures.

For those who got oil companies scholarships during undergraduate days can attest to this.

Everybody can rest on the theories and assumptions now as it was confirmed that majority of the people who have received alert did their interview on the 6th of July. Therefore it has no correlation with the result of the interview as collation is still ongoing.

NEFT is not NIP. Why do NEFT same day when you can just deal on NIP. I don't get.

There is a limit to the amount NIP can send. In this case nnpc have a large pool to send to, so they needed a bigger platform than NIP to enable that. There is a possibility of NEFT dropping same day, but I am yet to witness one tho and most links from bank says 24hrs..... There might be exceptions as Ben said anyways.

Note: NEFT usually drops the next day, but i have witnessed NEFT dropping d same day. It has to be done as early as possible very early in the morning. It is not cast in stone.

Maybe as early as 12am

I am not fighting you sir. It is clearly stated that it could take up to 24hrs..... Which means some might drop before that time and possibly beyond

Just to point out something I noticed, this second batch of payments were posted yesterday.....
I'm saying this because, If you check the narration, you'll see channel as NEFT.
This particular person used NEFT (Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System Electronic Funds Transfer), which is T+1, i.e it will take 24 hours or more to reflect in the recipients account.

So technically, no new transactions have been posted yet.

Don't you think there is more to this? Is it difficult for NNPC to collate all the account details of candidates and then disburse at once, just as they sent invitation for interview and CBT? Why the time lapse between the alerts?

Recall that for those who were interviewed on the same day, some have gotten while others have not. So I think there is a yardstick for sending these alerts.

Just thinking out loud.

Or maybe they have released the funds and the banks are the ones causing the lag. (because I don't believe nnpc can send in batch tho)

A quiet reader but ist time commenter..I did my interview July 6 ..eh..I just got 20k alert now..but the description was different..I called GT bank and I was told it's from FG...I guess it's nnpc...I stay in Lagos...make Una enjoy your money

Why should you be considered for T/fare when your value is less than or equal to other candidates. At equal rate of return, you don't have any bargaining power.
