RealisticJ: Them giving out a statement doesn't affect how transparent the exercise would be...they already know the number they want to accomodate and when we are to resume before the recruitment process started self. They were quick in providing info concerning CBT, one would think they would have done same with interview seeing that it ended since Thursday.
Am in no way discrediting them...they have really been efficient through out the recruitment process. They've lived up to their name no doubt...Started falling in love with them from my CBT seeing how organised it was. Apl is guaranteed by Gods grace. Maybe they are dodging the politicians and long legged humans..... |

RealisticJ: NNPC by now should have made a press statement on this recruitment. How many was called, how many would get Apls and date they will start sending the letters across. This would ease up frayed nerves...everybody just dey believe any theory weh come up I think we should allow them do their thing. So far it is transparent, then no issues. |

yungmin: We are saying the same thing. Side hustles are what they are - "side hustles" to make additional income. If your remuneration takes care of the level of lifestyle you desire for yourself, there may not be need for side hustle and if it is a side hustle born out of passion, you'd leave d job and go face it. However, I hope people are not going to the NNPC with the mindset of doing government job whereby you spend most of your time doing your personal stuff? Because, this is how you seem to sound from your comment I am not planning to be lazy on the job... I made mention of further development on the job too. I asked question on staff development and they mentioned robust system that makes sure their staffs are useful for designated roles. (that is the question I asked my panel when I was given the chance to ask question). |

yungmin: You can never be so sure bro. Not everyone jobless today is without an end goal or aspiration. Remember Maslow's needs hierarchy? Once one particular need is achieved, the individual moves on to a much higher need. I personally, if given this job, it would be a major uplift compared to where I stand, but I doubt if it would be a final destination for me based on these remuneration I am seeing here. As for me it is not about the money. It is about working there. I have other side hustles which I can maintain or give to someone close and faithful. It is about having a balanced work life and avenue for personal development. |

Mine is just one page. I only put those details that is necessary for nnpc gt. I don't need to bore them and myself with irrelevant details to the role. So just stay calm bro. As it stands na competition with one's village peeps . Let's wait for them to do their thing and hope for the best. |

I no dey talk down on anyone's achievement, las las we go dey ok. As i get a friend wey we finish from the same school, same cgpa wey just venture into clothing business...my friend my multi millionaire today...that GT upfront money na change to him...so i believe everybody get der own path to make it in life. its good to discover one's way early...end goal na to make money oh...na money all of us dey look for...money money money... Na u get am pass. That is one aspect of life. We have different paths to take. Some will end up in office while some will feed off the street. Beeam: Bro, I can tell you he's not lying!
In the past 6 months till date, I have had or expect offers from those companies too, plus BAT, MTN, PWC (Manager), Int'l Finance Corporation, Afrexim, AFC, US Embassy, NCC, CBN, JP Morgan.
Did I also mention the offer to serve as a personal adviser to a potential ministerial nominee?
Since we have all decided to be mad.... Well I am not hating on him. I have achievements too and my eyes are still on bigger goals (goals that scares me sef ). I have friends that have achieved things I only dreamt of in years to come, but I am on track to greatness too and I only compete with myself not anyone. I seldom talk on this section (mostly post in the biz subforum). But I have to talk as some were intimidated by him already and were turning him to a sort of god (which they don't need too, everyone is a genius in special areas). I can bet my balls that we have more achievers on this platform following the posts and laughing it off. Some do well in business while some can only exceed in professional life...... It all boil down to personal race. And for everyone...... For you to make it this far means you are not an inferior. You have done well and if you are not considered by nnpc? That is their lost, they just lost a gem to the street. Don't and never feel intimidated by anyone (your self esteem should never be put into competition). |

adakoleagbenu: if you heav He might be lying tho. Indirectly blowing his supposed trumpet. All na personal race. Moreover no matter how though your state is, for you to make it thus far means you are one of the best brains in your state for this nnpc stuffs. Run your race and let no one intimidate you with some phantom achievements. |

livebyday: Splendid write up bro
I honestly do not understand who advised them to start this ruga thing!!!
Nigeria has myriad of issues and they thought ruga was the way to go?
I am still dumbfounded, frankly ad you said the populace don't trust the government anymore Mr president kinsmen pushed him I guess. But it backfired. |

sterlingD: The destiny of this country is in our hands let us decide now and take it back from the elected.l am worried that this is what the remaining less than four years of this government would be all about.
Take note this year is half gone and Nigeria is just floating. In short this year is gone already. This government just have 2020 and 2021 to do something because 2022 will be embroiled with side campaign matters before campaign official roll out and then election 2023. The only choice we have is wait till 2023 or revolution (no one is ready for revolution yet until pushed to the wall). |
Politics › Re: Nigerians Speak In Unity With #NaijaMeansUnity by bobowaja(m): 10:54am On Jul 10, 2019 |
They are trying too hard to correct their mistakes. Mr president has already goofed on Ruga saga. And people of Nigeria have seen fulanis in bad light already, it will take some years to change that perception.
My take is Mr president should not only suspend Ruga but cancel it and any other lifestock program. Else other good initiatives by the govt will be roundly rejected by the citizens (people no longer trust the govt and the opposition will use it to their advantage to win sympathy).
We should all embrace peace and stop heating up the polity (both the govt and citizens) |

Dude is a fulani. Yoruba fought wars and repelled the blood thirsty fulanis grandfathers at osogbo in 1842. Osun state can't raise a sell out child. |
Politics › Re: A Honest Question About RUGA by bobowaja(m): 2:28pm On Jul 08, 2019 |
AbuuBilaal: Okay, thanks. Please let's go back to the topic. What's your say on it There are much lands in the north. Even Niger state govt told them they can hold all the ruga within their state. Fulanis are not after food for their cows..... They are after political dominance. Little by little they will occupy our lands and later contest for elections. Then they will become a single group that determines electoral results in every state and the indigenous settlers will become minorities (or even wiped out). We all know their plans and only the blinded or greedy ones can't see through it. |
Politics › Re: A Honest Question About RUGA by bobowaja(m): 2:18pm On Jul 08, 2019 |
AbuuBilaal: Please, for the one thousandth time, I'm not a northerner! I'm from Osun State. You can never be from osun state. We don't raise sell outs in yoruba lands. If you want fulani, go meet them in sokoto caliphate. Thanks |

Politics › Re: A Honest Question About RUGA by bobowaja(m): 1:59pm On Jul 08, 2019 |
Lol.... The land grabbers. What you north should know is that a united South is a big threat to northern dominance and this land grabbing act will unite us all against a perceive enemy. Go to sambisa for a wide land and feed your cows except you will accept yoruba pigs and calabar dogs colonies up north (especially in sokoto and kastina). |
