....the rot has really eaten deep..i fear for our unborn children.. whatever u like to say, in whatever manner u like to, the corruption tendency currently ravashing not just Nigeria, but the entire world, does not make returning what wasn't his, wrong. like someone rightly said, one might not know what he/ she would have done in similar situation until you are indeed faced with it. This should have been a very good platform for the Government to redirect the masses back to the right part by hosting him and rewarding him handsomely in a way that he would benefit substantially. But like someone opined earlier, the rot in governance is so enormous that a "paltry" 18mil lost and returned to the rightful owner need not be commended. God help us! |
u this @freeopod, im sure thats a tip so many will find helpful, good one. @OP, nice thread..im sure many will agree with me that nairaland (in general) need educative and incisive posts as this, good one! |
OH NOOOOOOOO! ANOTHER JOHN ![]() |
ashmanpolo: you are above 25yrs old but still living with your parents and you didn't celebrate children's day....#GodiswatchingyouonPlasmaTV#rolls*on*the*floor...lwkm |
truly nice.. u visit a friend and end up staying late and he (or she) asks "where u go sleep now"? answer: i carry my house come for my bag. |
...reading...tears roll down my eyes...miss those good old days.. baba dudu, kokoro, asaro (yam porridge) liki liki, vita malt, pilolo pilolo(hide and seek for festac children), six-man-court, traveling from lag to the village for xmas, lcking condense(ice cream for our mind) taking a ride with pupsie, fido dido isaura secrets of the sand(ruth, rachel,Mr. vergilio, anthonio da lua, etc) parents competing in their children's inter-house sports (abgaya dem) and still hustling to win prizes, wahl's icecream, maggi kitchen, boring news week on mondays, timberland and baggy jeans.. |
well...i normally do not like commenting on issues but this is like my field. just to add to whats been said already. i teach kids(i wont say im an expert but at least iv got some years of experience. kids that age usually learn better and replicates what they see rather than what they hear. worse still, as a friend of mind puts it, they tend to hear from only the second word in evry sentence(command0 issued at them..example "dont go out"...they only hear "go out".. it helps to address them by their names...and like we all know, our names are the sweetest word in the english dictionary, thus even when u are very angry, u may sternly pronounce all other words but do not forget to call his name with some respectful tone. i also tell people that kids understand times if they see examples. for example, if ur always asking ur child to go read his books(im talking bout children generally now), and they never see u do some reading, it will be one herculian task to get them to do same. no method works as a blanket solution for all kids..thus u'ld have to find out what works for ur child.. again, kids are angels. be Firm but Patient..(i work with kids whose parents confess that they dont have the patience to go at that speed). might not be exciting now, but keep at it, and it'll definitely pay off. |
please the site?men need to register oh, |
well, i hate to comment in this sentiment-hate-soaked type of thread.,lets face facts and be reasonable. He rightfully the next man to mount the saddle.his sincereity of heart is unbelievable in this our perversed generation.it takes a truly great man to admit some of the things he has talked about.he obviously is ill-equiped in terms of experience but like our nascent democracy,every1 and every thing is in a learning stage and what better person to take us through this ride than a sincere man?i would rather he does so than getting halliburton, siemens, shell,(i could go on), etc, as part of our national flag. |
I CAN'T HOLD MY LAUGHTER, HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAA. SO FINALLY IWU'S IMMUNITY HAS BEEN DISMANTLED? OPELOPE JESU |
they have decided to "ship" nuhu ribadu straight to a compulsory "school" in the heart of Jos, Plateau state.i mean rushing him off for a compulsory 1-year course.who knows what they are up to? |
men as for me, i think the gre3atest enemy we have right now is GREED on the part of every mahor player.example, i used to know this that graduated from a polytechnic in naija, guess what?he joined almighty NEPA, n even then his aged mother tot he had gone ballards.that was in '97.by '98,he had aquired bout 4 cars.of cos u guessed rightly,he never went to work in any of them cars(can u beat that).i also heard of a story by a friends father that recently retired after years of active service from almighty NEPA,guess what he said?he told me that a certain ex general that wanted so badly for our crippled power broker to b sold to him for peanuts, had to send up some agevts to go up to those (wqhatever they are called)i am talking bout those giant structures that carry high rising wires across seas and even wide rivers (ehen u know know what i a, talking bout) any ways he actually pay people (the nsame NEPA officials) to go up there and do damage.after these u hear that NEPA "would be effecting repairs on some hihg whatever therefor there would be power outages in bout 7 different states of the federation".i mean a state of emergency should be declarred.shikena. |
