from about 3 weeks to 4months, my DD was pooping once in 6 days...
I was worried at first but on seeing the paediatrician, she said it was nothing to worry about but I should always check the consistency of the poop to be sure she isnt constipated.

As soon as she clocked 4 months, she went from once in 6 days to once in 2 days, and now she poops every day.

You can't cure colic but you can manage it.

I doubt if it's catarrh cos she is too young for that. My DD has something like that, as if she has mucus in her nostril,she grunts while taking d bottle. Read up on baby enter and was told it's normal. How long is the poo difficulty? It's also normal for them to stay some days without pooing. To ease your fear use cotton bud and put Vaseline, then insert in the anus.

For mine,my doctor gave me drug to insert but all those things doesn't really work. Just drink plenty of water to make your stool soft.
Note: it doesn't affect you during delivery and after delivery it will probably be gone as mine is gone now.

Bolaalimat, pls listen to d helpful tips others hv suggested. In addition let ur doc prescribe medication to control ur bp pls. High bp is not only caused by "thinking" (who doesnt?). It's one of those medical conditions whose cause is not known. Science can only name predisposing factors. It is well with u and ur LO
Cheeketo that pain cannot be normal. Pls go back to the hospital and complain.
Chanbaby, the level to which ur mother can contribute to d naming/dedication of ur child will be determined by u and ur dh. If u're not comfortable with anything she wants to do, both of u stand together and gently but firmly say no.

Liftedhands:
Bolaalimat hbp in pregnancy usually pregnancy induced! It doesn't mean you are thinking too much or over worrying yourself. It often times goes away as soon as you put to bed or after some time.

Eat less salt and lots of cucumber and also plenty water! this will help you manage it along side some drugs your doctor will prescribe so it doesn't degenerate to preeclampsia.

Take note of any headache, sweating especially at night, blurry vision and palpitations! Always keep your legs elevated to avoid them swelling too much.

Hopefully the bp will come down so your baby can bake well.

You have a good attitude towards babys coming which is gd.

To your post, please can you let us know how far gone you are so one can be in a better position to respond?

Truth is high bp in pregnancy is not gd more often than not it leads to pre-eclampsia which is not good for mother and baby (my intention is not to scare you, just saying)

I would suggest you see the docs asap, let them monitor you as they can n also not risk anything, if baby is ok to come out then they probably should bring him out so that both you and your baby would be here.

My BIL gf had pre-eclampsia this happened after her preg had gone over 2 weeks. She wanted a home birth but eventually had a CS. Her own story for another day.

Make I rant small o...hmm so I went for antenatal yesterday... Only for doctor to measure my bump wit take and said baby is growing at a slow pace...hian..naim I weak...he asked me to do scan...which I did oo...evryfin turned out to be fine, scan measured me to be 31weeks...baby weight 1.6kg...position.. Cephalic & longitudinal lie...so doctor said she's OK..its just DAT she's on d small side...my heart don fly ... I take my prenatal drugs and eat well so I ahdnt be having an underweight baby...at d same time I thank God she's not so big..bcs I don't even want cut or tear .lol...

Mamas DAT haven't updated sex or age or both shd plz do....it is well with us...pray God gives us strength and garace to carry our baby to term and deliver like d Hebrew women...amen.

Please follow me and thank God for a safe delivery of my handsome baby boy. The light of my life!

He was born at 8.44am, today the 9th of January 2017! And he weighs 3.7kg. I was given a tear for him to come out.

He swallowed some fluid when he was coming out so he's having difficulty breathing on his own. He's on oxygen and antibiotics now. As soon as he is stabilized, I'll send a pix.

His name is Ilan for short meaning we rejoice. Full name is Ilankinan meaning we rejoice in the Lord

eeyah so sorry for her loss. Some babies do survive it when placed in incubator. It also happened to me 3 years ago. It was painful
