AlfaSeltzer: What exactly do you want to discuss? What are you confused about?
I would like us to discuss why, christians always support their Men of God, even when they are wrong, why do christians have double standards when it comes to issues that they are sensitive about, if Annie idibia were the one divorcing tuface, you would see christians on nairaland resorting to name calling and all other forms of insult on the person of tuface or his wife, but we have The almighty pastor chris and his wife having the intention to divorce, and so far I have not seen christians come out to speak out against it, rather they are supporting them, so does that mean that, the men of God in Nigeria are exempted from some forms of failings or something?

Greetings to my atheist brothers and sisters, Yes I am back, and I would love for us to discuss christianity, I want you to talk about the obvious faults in christianity, the christian practice of double standards, take the case of pastor chris oyakhilome divorcing his wife when clearly the bible does not support that, and also take the case of prophet TB joshua allowing workers to erect additional floors to a building (knowing fully well that the builders were not given permission to do so) that led to the death of over 80 persons, I would like us to scrutinize all the actions of christians in Nigeria, not forgetting our rapper pastor, pastor Ayo "bling" oritsejafor. His romance with corrupt politicians and other frivolous activities of his, let's dissect christian choices. I leave the floor open, logicboy01 I greet you. Good to have you back. And mind you, I am not an Atheist, I am just a confused spiritualist.

US Department of Defence (USAMRIID) & Tulane University Released This Bio- Airborne Ebola/Lassa Hybrid in Sierra Leone

http://zeitgeist77./2014/08/03/us-department-of-defence-usamriid-tulane-university-released-this-bioengineered-airborne-ebolalassa-hybrid-in-sierra-leone/

The primary Ebola strain being spread right now (as their are 2) was bioengineered by the US Department of Defense (via USAMRIID) & Tulane University with the knowledge/help from pharma/biotech giants such as Monsanto, Alnylam, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Merck, Pfizer and a much smaller pharma company based out of Canada called Tekmira. A known Ebola strain from Central-Africa was used as the base, and was bioengeneered to become a new hybrid respiratory illness (a combination of Ebola Virus & Lassa Hemorrhagic Fever, weaponized via Tulane University & USAMRIID at Fort Detrick) making it become a genetic variant of the original strain. This bioengineered hybrid allowed for airborne human-to-human transmission, an extended incubation period (to increase spread/threat), and a slightly toned down virility (to have the ideal initial wanted mortality rate (~40%)).

I posted something about this 2 years ago. I said then that "we are all going to see how the game of subduing the most populous black nation on earth plays out" and people abused me then!

I also said Nigeria should never allow US military boots in the country cos the problem they will cause will remain after they are long gone. One punk even called me names for suggesting that I didn't want chibok girls rescued.

Nigerian leaders don't care because they have billions of dollars stashed away, forgetting that the money will be useless once Nigeria is in crisis.

Expect destruction when US military set foot on African soil. AMERICA ONLY GIVE GREEK GIFT!
you're very correct, and it's very unfortunate that the typical Nigerian would chose to call what we are seeing conspiracy theories, why did ebola resurface a year before 2015? Why did patrick sawyer have to come to Nigeria with ebola? These and many more questions that have answers but Nigerians don't want the truth, they love the lies they are been fed with. Smh, it's very saddening.

The ferguson issue was treated the same way race riots have always been treated in the America. The only difference was the Americans exposed the truth of their living conditions, they are living in a "policed state"

90 percent of Nigerians are ignorant, ignorant about what's happening and what is about to happen to this country, And it's sad because if they were aware they would be more proactive in trying to put a stop to the imperialist plans of the Americans. America is a country full of double standards, they smile with you to your face and the moment your back is turned they stab you in the back, and when you turn around to know who stabbed you, you see them with a firstaid kit. Offering to help save you, and once you turn your back again, the stabbing continues, until you are dead, and they would probably blame your death on muslims or Russians (Americans with their blame games, America can do no wrong) America armed ISIS, America armed Al qaeda, the crimes of America against the human race are uncountable, and now they are succeeding with their plan to claim "bush Africa" who do you think brought back a weaponized version of Ebola to west Africa? Why did patrick sawyer a CIA blackmailed operative come to Nigeria with the intent to spread the disease? (Yeah, the ebola we are experiencing now is a biological weapon believe it or not, your cup of tea). And now the almighty America wants to send 3000 marines to the west African border regions to "help" fight the spread of ebola, Africom is becoming a success, soon we'll start seeing jarheads walking the streets of Liberia and Siere leone, and come 2015 the marines will come to Nigeria to restore peace and order ( we all know that president jonathan will win the election come february and the northerners will revolt, all hell will break loose, we know this deep in our hearts) The Americans have an imperialist Agenda, and that is to rape Nigeria, Rape Nigeria till Nigeria's clit is disfigured, deceive yourselves and think God will send angels from heaven to protect Nigeria, do not improve on your leadership skills, do not fight corruption, prepare yourselves to watch big brother Africa, continue to dance skelewu and azonto, don't put your houses in order, but it would be sad when we do nothing and allow the Real Big Brother, (uncle sam) come to Nigeria and rape us all, the imperialists are coming again, and this time around Iraq might be a safer country than Nigeria, (No ebola in Iraq). Here comes the Imperialist America. Let the Reaping begin.

nickxtra: This could be curious in the eyes of every discerning onlookers and analysts, but if subjected to closer scrutiny, could there be a NEXUS between the missing Nigerian military jet which was declared missing between the hour of 10am and 12pm on Friday, the same day that a plane was reportedly seen flying over the collapsed Guest House of the Synagogue Church of All Nations in Lagos, which has seen 40 deaths and many others injured, almost within the same time frame and same day? Now, questions are being asked, especially considering the fact that T.B. Joshua, the Presiding pastor of the church has insinuated that there is more to the collapse of the building. My question is, could these two sad events be mere coincidence or it was the same Military jet that was used to wreck damage to Synagogue Church of All Nations? If it is a coincidence, why the same day and even almost the same time?
After all is said and done, it's a question worth asking, who knows.....

Thousands of youth volunteers wants to fight Boko Haram
Sahara Reporters Media
With military officials and the government of Borno State quietly backing away from claims that the strategic town of Bama was still in the control of Nigerian soldiers, at least 12,000 volunteers gathered today in Maiduguri to offer their services in the war against the Islamist terrorist group, Boko Haram. The volunteers, who gathered at the Maiduguri palace of the Shehu of Borno, Abubakar Umar Ibn- Garbai Elkanemi, urged the Nigerian government to accept their services in the war against terror.

Our correspondent reported that thousands of ex-service men, hunters, and youths said they were ready to become part of the increasingly critical war against Boko Haram, which recently has captured several towns in Borno and Yobe States and killed more than 2,000 civilians in the first half of 2014, according to Human Rights Watch.

Some of the ex-servicemen, who had served in the military, the police, and with the SSS, said today that they wished to join youths in the civilian joint task force (JTF) to stop Boko Haram’s incessant attacks and recent string of triumphs over demoralized Nigerian soldiers based in the violence-ravaged northeast of Nigeria.

The prospective volunteers trooped today to the palace of the Shehu of Borno to seek his support and cooperation in their desire to combat the seemingly energized and increasingly more brutal Islamist insurgents. Some of the vigilante volunteers vowed to enter Sambisa forest and other hideouts to hunt down Boko Haram militants and bring an end to the ongoing insurgency.

Over the last three weeks, Boko Haram insurgents launched a series of attacks on several towns in Borno and neighboring states, including Damboa, Gamboru Ngala, Bama and Banki. The terrorists have seized numerous towns and engaged in widespread slaughter of civilians. Thousands of people have been displaced, some of them taking refuge in neighboring west African countries.

Some of the volunteers said their goal was to resist Boko Haram’s reign of terror and to reverse the insurgent group’s seizure of important towns.

Ex-staff sergeant Yahaya Suleiman, who fought in Nigeria’s civil war, urged the Nigerian government to accept the offer from him and others. “We are fully ready to join the military in fighting against terrorism. Enough is enough. All we need is support from the federal government to stop this madness.”

The dramatic gathering came a day after the Shehu of Borno suggested that people of different faiths observe three days of alms, prayers and fasting in order to restore peace to the state and the country at large.

The Shehu also called on members of the vigilante youth, popularly known as 'Civilian JTF,' to always abide by the rule of law while discharging their civic responsibilities.

Addressing the volunteers, the traditional ruler commended the effort of the civilian JTF in tackling the Boko Haram insurgency. He urged them to always follow the directives of the military and other security agencies. He added that the civilian JTF had helped to dislodge the sect from Maiduguri and surrounding areas. He encouraged other besieged towns and communities to set up their own volunteers to help fight terrorism.

And this News my Friend is one of the precursors to the beginning phase of a war, A general youthful readiness to fight the enemy, but alas, it is just a readiness for their deaths. Wars are unpredictable.I'm sorry but This is not Good news.

Smh, The nature of the Threat is that Boko haram is growing and there are speculations in the intelligence community that the Islamic state formerly known as ISIS, is planning on smuggling weapons and military hardware to Africa, to help spread the Terror campaign of the Islamic Caliphate. Wake up Nigerians, Wake up before it's too late, Say No to Corruption, The military is failing in it's duty because it has become corrupt, Corruption is our biggest enemy, Boko haram is ambushing men of the armed forces because some corrupt ones are selling the Good ones out, and the rest are scared to die for nothing, let us say no to corruption. Lordlexyy: I appreciate your civil response. However, we can't accuse them yet of not showing willingness when most of their demands remain unattended to. For as long as the gov't and top military brass continue to pay lip services, expect more insurrection and mutany from the soldiers. The insurgents have nothing to lose, at best, their indocrination is enough motivation, but the same can't be said of our military men who are conscious of their families and the fact that the gov't is doing very little in terms of logistics and packages to encourage them to give their all.
hmmm, I'll have to agree with you on this, The government should really do more to encourage the armed forces, But still the army has to work harder, they are literally our last line of defence, we are putting all our hopes on them, I know for sure if this insurgency gets to the south of Nigeria all hell will break lose. I pray this is handled soon, if not, terrible things are sure to follow.

Lordlexyy: Who talks about the President carrying Ak 47 to the battle? You can't exonerate the president from the failure of the NA, he remains the C in C and any malfunction in the army is directed at him. The guy you quorated gave reasons why the soldiers abandon their posts, and here you are defending your principal. Is it too much for the army to ask to be well equipped? And whose responsible is it to equip them? And who should ensure that the money meant to equip them well utilized? Finally, who has the power to arrest and prosecute if the money isn't used for the purpose it was meant for? These are the duties of Mr. President and all the various Federal agencies he put in place cos, the success of the NA is exclusively shared by the President. Why shouldn't he partake in their failure.
true, true, but let's not politicize this issue, I am not absolving the president of any blame, he is the president and thus if the country succeeds or fails it's on him, what I'm trying to say in essence my Good man, is that there seems to be incompetence on the part of the army, it's obvious seeds of mutiny have been planted in the army, the army is divided and insurrection is taking hold on them, morale is low and I believe it has a lot to do largely on their capabilities, once in their lives they are been faced with fearless terrorists and it's scaring them to hell, this tells you the stuff our armed forces are made off. Why is the army unable to reclaim land that are being controlled by insurgents, there is no reason for them not to have been able to take back these lands, is boko haram in control of nuclear war heads or fighter jets? Or is there something the army is not telling us.

Ediskcab: D logic behind your argument is like trying to absolve a coach of d failure of his team. Gej is d commander in chief if the armed forces of Nigeria.
personally I am not a huge fan of the president, it is obvious he is clueless about how to tackle this current security challenge, but I believe that the bulk of the blame should be placed squarely on the door of the Nigerian Army, the army chiefs and commanders should have been able to come out with good strategies and tactics on how best to tackle this insurgency in the north, the president takes decisions based on the intel and information he is being given by these chiefs, and from the looks of it, it seems he is being provided with bad or poor information, the president has no military training so you don't really expect him to come out with extraordinary security strategies, don't we have war colleges? It's the duty of the army to tackle insurgency, they have been given enough to tackle this threat, instead they are running away from battle and giving the enemy tanks and bombs and land, it's disgraceful I tell you, the other day it was alleged that boko haram chased close to five hundred military men to cameroon, 500, not 50 or 100, 500, were they attacked by over 500 boko haram insurgents? And even if they were attacked by such a number, does It mean that boko haram fighters are more well trained than men of the Nigerian armed forces? These and many more questions are in the minds of many Nigerians,

the president has his short comings yes, but do you expect the president to carry an Ak 47 rifle and go to bornu to fight? The president has declared martial law in the 3 most affected states, it is left for the Army to enforce the martial law, we have seen videos of military men fleeing in combat, for reasons best known to them, I wish the military victory in it's ongoing campaign, but it seems the military men are scared, the reason a soldier would run from something is because he is scared of dying, and why would you be a soldier and be scared of dying? It shows lack of patriotism. Simply put the military is having Insurrection problems, and I believe we might see more soldiers running from the battle field in the future, if the military can not fight boko haram, it should contract it to Private Military Contractors, we can provide such services. And they won't have to lose face, because right now the military is losing face, but we can help correct this.
