This edition of Big Brother might record the lowest viewing audience and voters turnout. Nigeria is in dire straits right now and people don't have the resources to waste on trifles. |
Poisonousman:Okay. Be just as nice to give me the detailed correction(s) then. |
Oluwaseunomo:You didn't answer my question, Oga. Leave all this spiritual logic you're bringing into the issue. |
Emu4life:You my friend, are very sound in the head! |
Godmind2022:No offence intended, but this is garbage talk. Sani Abacha's dictatorial reign that dehumanised, maimed, killed and impoverished Nigerians, happened because it was "of God"? |
BarrElChapo:So I don't miss the point, what you people label as "idolatory" is the black man's reverence for his ancestral traditions handed down across generations way before the arrival of Christianity, right? |
It's the last paragraph of her entire sermon for me. |
Waffarianman:Yes, they are. Nigeria is sadly on top of the list of countries that are enabling the illegal activities of killing pangolins for their meat and scales. Not just that, in the last decade we have successfully positioned our country on the unwanted list of being a trade route for the trafficking of these endangered species. And it's even saddening considering the fact we're one of the handful of countries blessed with the abundance of these rare animals, from the middle belt, to the South west, spreading all over the South South and stretching to the East. Pangolins are being hunted like rabbits in our country. The commercial value is huge enough to make traffickers enormously rich, because their scales are in high demand in countries like China, Thailand, Vietnam, etc. |
Curious346:No arguments here, brother. Be kind enough to give me the requisite parameters for proper analyses then. |
Connoisseur:Thank you profusely for the correction. In essence, how can you easily convert that SI unit being cubic meters to the equivalent of litres, so others can have a better understanding of the subject matter? |
This Ebonyi state governor.. ![]() It's like when he was born, he refused to let out that first cry that babies do. One anxious nurse must have dropped bitter leaf liquid in his mouth just so he can cry. Na the vex him carry grow so. |
immortalmortal:I analysed based on what the heading of this thread specified. His price template cannot be disputed because prices of these things hardly vary, irrespective of your location. But his stated "net distance" covered by a full tank is subject to tons of disputes, owing to factors like the size of the car, size and capacity of the engine, etc. Same way I can drive 20 litres of fuel in a Toyota Corolla for 160km, is easily the same way you can drive that same 20 litres of fuel in a Mercedes C300 for just about a 100km. So, quantity of CNG consumed counterbalanced with the distance covered can always vary, but not necessarily the case with the price. I trust then, that you understand why I laid seperate analyses using different pricing templates but with the same estimated distance? N/B: And you're not entirely correct concerning the distance from Kaduna to Abuja. That one way trip is about 190Km. You saying 340Km is equivalent to a trip from Kaduna to Abuja and back, with an extra 20Km to spare, is actually wrong. Double of 190Km is 380Km. And this distance is exactly what you get from Command Junction in Kaduna, to the military checkpoint before you take the right turn off Zuba (I stand corrected), in Abuja. We're not even factoring in whatever 'Km' there is from your home to these aforementioned landmarks. |
Waffarianman:They're both endangered animals and protected by wildlife laws in almost all countries of the world. |
gfelo:No offence, but did you actually read the article in detail? |
Curious346:Well, recalculating with this your updated price implies that 10 litres will amount to 2300 naira, which equals 13,800 naira for a full tank capacity of 60 litres. This amount covers 170km of driving. An additional 20 litres at 4,600 to cover for what's left of the Kaduna to Abuja distance, puts the total gas expenditure for that one trip at 18,400 naira. And you people say this CNG is supposed to be cheaper? Even if we're to use the current fuel price of 617 for this analysis, it is still relatively cheaper than using CNG. You need approximately 25 litres of fuel to drive from Kaduna to Abuja. That quantity at 617 naira sums up to 15,425 naira. That is 2,975 naira less than you'll spend on CNG. So what exactly is the profitable advantage CNG has over fuel? |
Shokoloko:The palliative na beans wey them dey use candle cook na. Before e go done, people wey suppose chop am go don die. |
Civil servants in Abuja are now starting to sleep in their offices. They leave their homes for work on Monday with extra wears and other necessities, sleep in their offices, wake up the next day to freshen up in the office rest rooms, continue work the next day after having change of wears. The routine stretches to wednesday, after which they go homes to their families, to return to work on thursday, sleep over till friday, then finally leave for the weekend. That way, they only get to pay fares twice in a week so they can be able to fend for their families. This is not a made up story. My own Abuja neighbours adapted the method before I travelled outta the city two days ago. Nigerians are suffering! |
HacheNoire:Bola Ahmed Tinubu's name is not in my identity please.. . Allow me have peace. |
Kollabo419:I often wonder why any decent and peace loving family would go rent a house around Slaughter and transamadi. Those aforementioned areas are for political thugs, street hustlers, drug dealers, etc. People dey sabi take risks sha. |
Gangster1ms:Nigerians and conspiracy theories sha. What's the connection between this woman and Wike/Tinubu? |
JoshTim:It's one thing to rehearse a performance in your sitting room in the presence of friends or family, and another thing to put up that same performance on a grand stage, in the presence of hundreds of people, and especially when you're up against other competitors.. ![]() I know you get my drift. |
HacheNoire:You're right. Same way I don't need your coercion to accept your supposed "incontestable" facts.. ![]() |
JoshTim:That Zambian team no good. Them no get any midfield and their defence dey shaky. Even these Nigerian girls go trash them if they ever meet. |
nairalanda1:The coach has to do better with the formations and tactics going forward. There is very evident class and talent in this crop of players. That the girls struggled for a draw was down to mistakes by the coach. |
HacheNoire:You forgot to bring your gun to this conversation table. |
HacheNoire:Are you coercing me to accept his relevance or significance in my life.. ? |
HacheNoire:I'm sorry, but he's not my President. It's okay if he's yours. We're all entitled to our choices. |
Lol. This una President dey always funny me sha. |
