IsraelHamas1: Same for religion of peace. If we don't have these two, the world as we know it would have been a much better place. They both fit themselves. Two extremists with an indescribable sense of intolerance. The Jews are even worse, and the US had no business being involved in this fight. Now they're going to escalate this problem to the point where proxy countries will seize the opportunity to show their might. |

FoolishBoy419: Exactly. I know it sounds callous but it is the truth. For the past 3 days, those bastards have been promising to turn Gaza into wasteland, to kill every "animal" (human being) in Gaza, etc. Had Hitler gassed all of them to extinction, they wouldn't be here to be making such threats. Very fvcked up people with a nauseating sense of entitlement. And I find it really disappointing that Nigerians are chanting in support and encouragement for the same Jews who'll easily and quickly kill a christian than a muslim. |

These sadistic Israelis be thinking the world should bend at their putrid Jewish feet, at every given opportunity. Adolf Hitler should have rid the world of this menace when he had the intents. We for no dey see all this rubbish. |

Nigeria pioneered the robotics revolution when we elected an AI engineered human to be our President in 2015.
Only problem was, in the heat of that excitement, we forgot to put the brain in the robot's metal skull and by the time we realised, he had already morphed into an independent entity where he no longer needed the brain. |

This boy is painfully underrated.
This his recent "Maverick" album comfortably has about five or six decent hit tracks, but for some odd reason, he doesn't seem to get the deserved recognition.
- My G. - Feran mi (with Johnny Drille). - Red & Green. - Anchovy. - E better. - Easy to love (with Chike).
He really has to consider changing his management team. |

aviara: I can tell you for free that this piece of information is a lie. This government in 6 months has almost incurred the same debt level of Buhari in 8 years. A dollar is about N1,000 as we speak, a kg of cooking gas is over N1,000, a litre of fuel is N650 with a likely increase in pump price anytime from now. Honestly, there are no signs that Tinubu will do better than. I am very privy to all of these details. I make it a point of duty to stay adequately informed at all times. But what can we do differently as the citizenry? Even your efforts at spelling out bad governance is outrightly demonised by proponents of the government in power, despite how telling these negativities are to all and sundry. This country sincerely has no business being an entity. |

Angelfrost: That's a very huge "IF".
Here is another reality check... Even if 80% of our creditors decide to write off our debts today, what is the assurance that these dull leaders won't triple the debt profile in 2 leadership cycles?!!!
Nigerians must learn by force, even the uneducated amongst us, including the unfortunate bigots... That Leadership is no one's birthright, and it is distinctively different from winning elections. I am literally tired of complaining about our societal ills, so I mostly just read through the slew of bad news these days, satiate my eyes with the retinue of comments on nairaland and elsewhere, then return to my hustle. We seem to be a country that is proficient at making all the wrong choices, only to rue the situation with all the right words afterwards. |

We were one of those neighbours who actually owned a "President" television and our home was always a viewing center from 4pm to 6.30pm when the elders will sit to watch the news on NTA.
When we bought our first "home theatre" with the three disc loader tray and replaced the television with a coloured "Sharp" product, there was a street party to herald its arrival..😂. |

Angelfrost: Whether you wail or grandstand, or paint black white, it doesn't matter.
See ehn... Las las, you either produce the goods or keep coming up with excuses.
Buhari did the latter for 8 years... Now, Tinubu has clearly continued from where his predecessor stopped.
Both those you call wailers/losers and those calling themselves winners/patriots will equally enjoy or suffer the fallout of the policies of those in power.
The sun and the rain don't selectively fall on people based on their characters.
For me, as a neutral in all these, I am yet to see even a tiny semblance of progress from the past calamitous 8 years of Buhari... I have no business sugarcoating the truth.
It's what it is! In my habitual midnight research, I stumbled on a piece of news last night that this government has been able to pay off a certain 2billion dollar debt owed to China and India, and has equally serviced another loan with almost a billion dollars. I don't know the veracity of the claim as I had other interests in mind and didn't bother to dig it further for more details. But if it is true, that would be something to at least cheer for. Our debts are suffocating us to the marrow. |

Some of you nairalanders make it look like the Nigerian reality is so dire that indigenes of those three tribes don't see eye to eye or even have dealings together.
All over the country, both in rural dwellings and cosmopolitan cities, Igbos, Hausas and Yorubas are living in harmony. There's literally NO market you'll go to buy things and not find them owning stalls beside one another.
It is the palpable effort you retards put into trying to paint a chaotic society that is most nauseating. You fritter away your sanity just to cultivate unnecessary hate towards people you don't even know beyond your phone screens. And if you don't consider that to be foolishness, I wonder what should be. |
