HtwoOw:My brother Jonathan has no right to pay or not pay allocation. He doesn't have such powers. The case of Lagos during OBJ was because Lagos created new LGAs that weren't known to law. Meanwhile, most of the governors are in their second terms, what have they done in 4 or 6 years to ensure their states are independent and less reliant on free money?. If you must blame anyone let's blame the masses for allowing these bastards to keep raping us without condoms. |
In as much as I support quality over quantity, has anyone listened to the argument of the NLC, the government didn't involve any reputable third party to conduct the exams and only released 3 results that has no names. Knowing fully that APC is full of deceit, I will definitely want to believe the government lied unless they can have a third party verify all these claims of mass failure. |
You're blessed. Until the government and it's supporters can counter this. I am forced to believe Buhari is a fraudster after all. ivandragon: |

I am looking out for a partnership funding wise for an export contract at hand. The deal is to export pepper to the UK weekly. However from my feasibility studies, the cost of execution is N450,000 and the buying price is N600,000 to export 500KG of unripe green Scotch bonnet pepper (Ata Rodo). Because its a perishable product, the buyer prefers weekly purchase of not more than 1,000KG but minimum is 500KG. A minimum of 1 year is guaranteed. Although the future plans is for me to plant peppers myself to guarantee consistent supplies, unfortunately raising my own pepper is going to take atleast 4 months. In the maintime, I am looking for partnership to finance the export as I have to do something fast to avoid forfeiting the offer. Payment is sent to us same day the product is shipped so my proposal is to have anyone raising funds take 2/3 of the profit while I take 1/3. I believe and hope this is fair. We can even start this week if fund is available. You can add me on WhatsApp or call me 08056591494. Thank you. |

Fellow Nigerians, isn't this an illegality taken too far: The group managing director NNPC, Maikanti Baru, says President Buhari approved at least two separate oil contracts worth $1 billion and $780 million - The GMD states that during the time the president was supposedly on his sickbed and not exercising presidential powers, he actually did - Ibe Kachikwu and Baru meet to discuss the future of the country’s petroleum industry The group managing director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Maikanti Baru, has said President Muhammadu Buhari granted approvals for oil deals to the government oil firm during the time he was on his sick bed in London. The disclosure by Baru was made when he responded to the allegations made by the minister of state for petroleum resources, Ibe Kachikwu, over the unilateral award of hefty oil and gas contracts totaling about $25 billion by NNPC boss. Baru in a statement on Monday, October 9, stated that the president still approved contracts at the corporation when he had relinquished presidential powers to his vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, Premium Times reports. The NNPC boss said Buhari approved at least two separate oil contracts on July 10 and July 31 worth $1 billion and $780 million, respectively. He said during the time Buhari was supposedly on his sickbed and not exercising presidential powers, the president exercised the powers by granting approvals for NNPC joint venture contracts. When Premium Times contacted Ndu Ughamadu, spokesperson for the NNPC about the legal implication of Buhari exercising presidential powers even when he had relinquished same in accordance with the constitution, the spokesperson said what mattered was that a presidential approval was given. “Presidential approval is presidential approval,” Ughamadu insisted. Meanwhile, the minister of state of petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu and the group managing director of the NNPC, Maikanti Baru met to discuss the future of the country’s petroleum industry. The duo had been involved in a public debacle following a leaked memo written by the minister in which he accused Baru of insubordination. Vanguard reports that they met on Tuesday, October 10 at the ongoing Nigerian Economic Summit in Abuja, at the Energy Policy Committee breakout session. Baru was already at the session when Kachikwu walked in and the former stood up to chat with the minister. It was reported that they discussed how the country oil sector can be pushed forward noting that there was so much opportunities in it. https://www.google.com.ng/amp/s/www.naij.com/amp/1129753-president-buhari-approved-oil-contracts-sick-bed-maikanti-baru.html |
It is with regret I write this piece. Although I never voted the APC government but does that even matter? I'm proud to say I voted KOWA party. I couldn't vote GEJ because he couldn't connect with my views and couldn't vote PMB either because he was always running away from debates which was rather scary for me. In a democratic setting, no one in the world has ever garnered 100% of votes. However what matters most is the ability and capacity of those elected. I was so ashamed when last weekend the Minister of Agriculture said Nigeria has now reduced it's importation of rice from 500,000MT to 50,000MT. I wouldn't have a problem if the government claims we are producing 1,000,000MT but to admit we no longer import rice because "their" out growers nonsense has been a success is a joke taken to far. I live in Lagos and I infact sell foodstuffs. All I see around everywhere and everytime are foreign rice. How long are we going to continue deceiving ourselves?. I think it is obvious our leaders are nonentities and we had better speak up. I am not Igbo but to imagine Biafrans would be threatened by bullets even though their campaigns have largely remained peaceful and void of violence is another issue I can seem to understand. It's obvious the Northern leaders do not care about development and will never be open to reasonable debates. It's no use trying to preach to these "dealers" who claim to be leaders. Southern politicians inclusive. I see enough desperation in the President already and I fear he is a man to be trusted to deliver Free and Fair elections. I think the strategy by government of trying to ,intimidate, threaten and use force against anyone with contrary views must be stopped. Tyrants are not born they are made when men refuse to act and speak up. Nigerian youths needs to speak up now or we will forever continue to suffer in silence. |
I am actually paying for darkness here. I mean my 2 bdr bq pays the same amount the 4 flats main building pays just because my landlord mistakenly requested a separate billing for the bq. |
To all does always supporting Osun governor for building school blocks. Does this loan justify what is on ground in terms of development in our state at all. I thought PDP were wicked but APC certainly are the sons of Lucifer. |

First let me state that I am a proud Nigerian and I am a Yoruba man. I would also appreciate if everyone would be objective and sincerely go through the message and not the messenger. I have seen with amazement and totally disappointed at the resistance against the agitation for Biafra. For me it's is totally hard to understand why other parts of Nigeria feel Biafra shouldn't be. At first I'll blame some opportunistic elements (politicians) who when in office didn't canvass for restructuring but for selfish reasons are doing so today, same way I will blame President Buhari would couldn't build the best hospital in Africa but after leaving office will be the first to start complaining of dilapidated health system. Imagine my governor in Osun, whose daughter recently gave birth in America. Obviously, these politicians do not believe in this country at all. They want the best but they feel it's not necessary to build the best society here rather they keep deceiving us. My view on Biafra is that, there is no reason forcing ourselves on each other, I believe our past and present leaders couldn't really achieve because we've allowed tribalism, religious and ethnic bigotry to destroy and shape our minds, while nationalism remains dead. A case of recent is the NNPC board appointments. Nigeria's unity is very negotiable, yes. Biafra, Oduduwa, Arewa republics etc would make it easier to monitor our leaders. If anyone blames or tackles Buhari now, the northerners believe you are being unfair to him either because he's a Muslim or a northerner. If you critize Jonathan, you risk the wrath of South southerners. However, if we have different countries, it will be the Northerners who would either complain about their own leaders or support them and vice versa. Another issue, I believe is that our leaders (politicians, religious, etc), are not intellectually sound. They do not seem to think or understand that there's no limit to human capacity for either good or bad and if we have different countries, there would be healthy competition. Our current system makes promoting religion and sentiments easy which has led to underdevelopment. I also believe to achieve Biafra, IPOB should have a political party, ensure all politicians representing the South East especially at the national assembly are members of this party and the sole agenda is the Biafra agitation. As it is, I haven't seen any advantage to this contraption and the likes of President Buhari, Tinubu etc are all selfish and want to continue ruling us while their kids take over later. I am for freedom and all Nigerians should support this call. |
Please don't pity him. I remember then on the eve of his election about 5 people were killed at his family house. On becoming a lawmaker all he did was to build the most beautiful private residence in Ife then, that took the governor to come and open at the house warming. Divorced his wife of 20something years, married a young undergraduate, bought her a 10m SUV. So less than 5 years after leaving office he's crying and shouting compensation, did he loose in Ogun state to mention being compensated for his electoral misfortune?. E don broke ni or what? God is indeed great! |
And government keeps shouting agric? How can you have such money invested and no government backed insurance or so. Whats the difference between APC and PDP sef? All they know is propaganda. With such investments their should be very serious policy in place and also ways to ensure you don't even have to risk it all because as it is now you have to keep feeding them and there's no going back. I thought layers should start dropping at 18 weeks. Moreover they get tired after a year of laying. |
Well OP, in my own recent case, we dated less than 1 month and I knew her for less than 2 months. The second time we were meeting I told her about my sister in law who makes hair, she went and got me a debt of 12k, for someone you barely new. I took that in good faith, a month later another hair of 6k. Countless Pizza, Chicken Republic and KFC. Yet she broke up with me because the day she was supposed to come know my house clashed with my appointment with a client. She felt I took job over her. This is a 28 year old woman whom I had thought had some brains and should be willing to settle down. In all, I never got a dime from her. So tell me how would I think of women? We broke up last week. The funny thing was her last statement to me " What have you ever done besides paying for my hair" So for a relationship that is barely a month old I should buy her a car abi?? Truth is there are good ones but majority are just selfish and greedy. |
Not to ridicule the FG or anything but even before this administration we had $20b inflow investment into the country within 2 years so this to me isn't good enough. Meanwhile, why has our government always celebrated foreign investment? Can't government invest all our reserves on local content so we won't even need foreign investment to survive? I think our leaders are not brilliant and innovative enough. America didn't need foreign investment before it became production capital of the world neither did Japan. |
Did anyone see or notice the 4th banner ... 'you havent violate'... lol |
God bless Op...I haven't joined because I couldn't get the prayer points. I hope you keep this coming daily. God bless. |
Yewandequeen:Just saw your message. Is your PM working now?? |
To say I am angry right now is definitely an understatement. I was trying to improve on my customer base today and as such I needed to make phone calls to leads to see if I can have new subscribers. Of course I don't know them and this is just marketing so ordinarily people would ask questions. Then suddenly I called a woman, telling her I am into laundry and dry cleaning services. That was all I said then she started praying "I AM A CHOSEN" like 10 times. I was just dumbfounded. Religion is really enslaving us here in this part of the world. I am a christian but such attitude for me is extremism taken to far. I now believe if some of these pastors ask their members to commit suicide or murder they may do so without asking questions. This brain washing is so unfair o. Pastors should atleast take it easy with members abeg. Maybe religion after all is our problem and not corruption because at the end, these pastors dine with corrupt politicians. |
So we have a terrible Law school in Nigeria when we currently have a SAN as acting President. Same way we're having herdsmen problems when the President is the Chairmen of Miyetti Allah Cow Association. Just like we had no goods roads in the Niger Delta when Jonathan held sway. Also, no feasible project in Ogun for 8 years Obasanjo was President. I'm now confused that Nigeria's problem is beyond the ordinary. |
I have actually just gotten over a very serious breakup in January and about 2 months ago I met a lady. I was willing to actually make sacrifices which I am not really used to but because I believed no one is perfect. 2 weeks ago she asked me for some money to start a business, I was impressed and willing to help because I believe that will make her more independent. She was supposed to visit my house for the first time last weekend and due to job clashes I had to cancel at the last minute. She flared up and I have always warned her of her anger problems which is about the only issue I have with her. In my heart I was hoping to propose next month, however after the scene last weekend we settled over the weekend and I just thought I must do something about this her anger problem so on Tuesday she asked about the money which I promised to give this week and I said I have decided not to give anymore but because she is now calm I will give her and that I will still find a way to ensure I destroy that her anger problems as I must have a positive impact in her life. That was all I said then she started shouting, calling me names and saying things like is it because of money you want to give me that gives you such guts to tell me I have anger problems what have you ever done besides paying for my hair twice etc. I was dumbfounded because I can't imagine where I have gone wrong. I really want to enjoy marriage and not put up with a fighter. Does anyone think I can help her or I should just move on with my life? I'd prefer ladies views if I have said too much. |
I'd like to hear from the boyfriend first before any comments. A man who saw his own mother and sisters and didn't take them abroad but took you his babe...Men have been suffering since the days of Adam! |
And Obasanjo thinks Trump is a curse on America? Many of us wouldn't have been desperate to travel abroad if not for the bad society we have. So far Trump has always given commonsense policies. Ban immigrants, ban extremists and ban Transgenders. I don't really see anything bad about the man. There has been job gains lately and improved stock values in that country. I wish we had a real President like Trump and not a missing one. |
As crazy as this governor is, he is actually leading by example creating confidence in the system. 3 sons graduating from a Nigerian University and studying in state public secondary school as a governor is very commendable. We know those who are sick and on admission in London but using made in Nigeria drugs. Atleast we can see pictures here to verify Fayose's claims. PMB is now making Fayose look like a more responsible man. |
