You should have commented on the topic of the thread rather than go about calling some persons slave cos they cook for their boyfriend. Men can be complicated in a way. But maybe as a man, I think women are far more complicated.

Ok. You do have a point. I'm for equality of gender too. What I however won't agree to is role reversal. There won't ever be a time an engineer will be called to the hospital to come and attend to a patient. This is also vice versa. There are things the women are naturally good at and there are things meant for the men. This however did not make some slaves and others masters as you've earlier stated.

So next time you want to preach gender equality, make sure you do it when it's necessary and with carrful selection of lexis so you won't be passing a message you didn't intend to pass. Dont just go about talking gender equality at every chance you get to speak/post. It makes you look like a man hater.

Methinks gender equality should be about giving equal opportunities irrespective of gender and not a role reversal thing. Nature have it that man has the body to climb mountains in search of what will keep the family going, and same nature gives the woman a better body and brain to handle kitchen and take better care of the kids.

Both potatoes (irish and sweet potatoes) are starchy potatoes and hence very good in making french fries. I think sweet potatoes even have slightly higher percentage of starch compare to irish potatoes.

You are not alone. A lot of long time relationships usually experience things like this. It's because you have gotten used to him. One thing you should know is that at times like this, you have to make conscious effort to reinvigorate the love. Even in the dictionary, love is both a noun and a verb. You take actions before the feelings can come back
Try not to think about it for too long. Take him out to have fun, go for site seeing, buy new things to surprise him. Do things like singing with him, dance with him, role play. If he likes football, try to go and watch with him. When you wake up every morning bring him to your subconscious by telling yourself I wonderful he is and that you love him so deeply. Look at his picture, especially those ones you took on some memorable events of your relationship. Say something like "I love (his name) and will always do" like ten times every morning.

Please this is my first poem and I'm not a literature student. So I'm so opened to corrections. I will appreciate that from anyone who cares.

I'm not referring to how much grammar you speak, now lemme give you a simple illustration imagine yourself talking to an unintelligent person you see when you bring an issue they know nothing about they just watch you talk without contributing anything tangible to what you're saying, when you're with them in a group they are always quite not because they don't talk but because thier scope of knowledge isnt wide, intelligent people tend to know alot because they are naturally curious being shy is different you can tell if someone is shy because of the way they comport themselves, i dont know how else to explain this but i can tell if someone isnt intelligent just by speaking with the person maybe its a gift peculiar to me alone

What you don't get that as human, we have different backgrounds. This has ensured that some not too intelligent people come of as the bomb. Whereas, some really intelligent folks usually have that bad first impression. For some guys, when they meet a very beautiful lady for the first time, especially one who steals their attention, they develop cold feet, a ball in their throat and the confidence they have so much exude just before then will disappear. Such guys will come off unintelligent to you and you may just want to believe they are in a way too dull.

Remember we are talking first impression. You judgement of who is intelligent and who is not is a bit flawed as the premises will never be enough to defend your conclusion. It's at most 50% correct considering human nature. So don't base your judgement of intelligence on first impressions only, it can be deceiving.

Intelligence doesn't not have much to do with English usage ma....

Alot of people can speak the Queens English without being able to put down 3 letter words and we have it vise versal.....

In facts, for shy guys like us, when we see a lady we like, we are always not able to express ourselves properly, hence we might come of as not intelligent.
